My gripe is with the bathing suit selection for women, and surf attire in general. They don't carry any functional bikini tops! Everything is a triangle that rushes on the bottom that 1. Will move around in the water so you can be flashing everyone and 2. Will hurt your sternum if you're surfing for longer than 20 minutes. Anything with beads, ties, other lumpy textures in the front of bathing suits is painful when you're on your front paddling. Just saying. Everything looks like surf fashion but I was hoping for actual useful surf stuff. Not many powertops or shorties for when it gets a little chilly either :-/

This is for their San Diego branch…read more Good service, but not great, hence the three stars. To be somewhat fair, I called the morning of the excursion, about 3 hours in advance. My main reason for calling this company was because of the drop/pick up service they offered for their paddleboard rentals. They advertise "Anywhere you want to paddle, We'll bring the boards. Even to your home!" copied directly from their website. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case when I called. I first asked if we could get them dropped off at Fiesta Island. "No, that's a bad idea" they tell me. They recommend Fanuel Park, which I later come to realize is where they are located. My group (who have their own boards) wanted to drop in at Crown Point. I text Hui Hui back an ask if we can do Crown Point instead, which is about 5 minutes away from Fanuel. They just text back "Can you do Fanuel?"... Since I already paid the deposit and didn't feel like arguing with someone about their supposed drop off/pickup service, I said whatever, I'll pick them up myself and take them over to crown point myself. Hoping to get a " Oh no, we take the boards to where you want to paddle", instead I got a "Works for us!" Yeah of course it does. We get there and stuff two boards in the back of our car with the trunk still open and the boards barely strapped in, we made our way to crown point and had a great day. The dude seemed chill, and I was hesitant on writing a review, but since he asked me to, here you go. Lastly, their pricing is all over the place. Their website says $40 for 4 hours in one place, $45 in another place, and then dude charges me $55 for four hours when I call in. I didn't argue that either, I was just trying to paddle board man. In summary, don't advertise a service you don't offer.

(Fl to va..it's not a long distance) Busy season, but I tried again for another one, I really liked having a souvenir of an event I attended, none the less I politely asked for an acknowledgment of order, waited for a week got nothing, sent another email the next week, speed up and sent sent 4 emails, 3 voicemails asking for an update and nothing. Finally gave up and requested a refund since they couldn't give the courtesy of acknowledgment. Must have struck a nerve bc less than 5 min later, instant refund, no explanation. Well as a gift I got a gift card and figured why not, need to complete my collection and ordered once again. Immediately cancelled by them and when I replied asking why was told " can't fulfill this order have a good summer " ok, replied "was is seasonal or something, got reply"as I said before I can't fulfill this order have a good summer". Yeah, pretty obvious now it's personal. So asked since I paid with a non refundable gift card how are they going to refund my money.. no response. Probably the worst customer service with a very petty attitude. Etsy has better options and customized products. Save your time and money.

Go to the Fishing Headquarters, they're typically helpful with advice on what to get and don't mind…read morepeople coming in to buy fishing tackle. Plus, they usually have good sized live shrimp and a much better selection of frozen baits, not to mention lures you can actually pick off the wall and inspect up close instead of peer at from behind the counter. They also have Doc's goofy jigs instead of those wack off-brand pompano jigs. Fishing Headquarters is just a stones throw away so I can't figure out how Jupiter Bait and 'Don't Buy Our' Tackle stays in business.
