Oysters Rockefeller were great, rib eyes tacos weren't, ceviche was ok. Fast casual food, convenient to my hotel. Recommend for lunch

Three of us stopped here for lunch during the week. The place was very busy. There were not many servers but they were hustling and the food came out quickly. There was a bread basket with different chips and crackers in it. There was also a plate of sauces in mini ramekins. We started by splitting an order of the Fisher's original taco with shrimp (three to an order so we each had one). It had avocado, cheese, and beans on a flour tortilla; I ordered without the spicy sauce. Wow. Was so good I couldn't stop eating long enough to take a picture. Creamy and a little spicy. Very messy to eat but who cares?! I would order this again! But eat all three myself ;) We ordered guacamole and it was very good. It came shaped in a square with tomatoes on top. It was much better than the mini serving of guac served with sauces. I ordered the classic chamorro marlin tacos. The marlin not what I expected. It came out minced and had a smoky flavor. My two friends ate it. We also split the cheesy seafood pot (Cazuela de Mariscos Gratin). This dish was amazing!! As other Yelpers insisted- order this!! They were out of the Peruvian ceviche- my friend explained that it is made the day before so the flavors meld and he was not surprised it sold out. He ordered some other tacos. The side of Frijoles were good but cold. A lady came around with a beverage cart and explained the drink of the day. It sounded delicious but we all passed.

Super large selection of sea food, you can choose your fish then choose the style it is prepared and then choose two sides. The salad was super plain. The Fish Fries were amazing, basically cheesy French fries with mole and multiple kinds of cheeses. Also great was the fried shrimp appetizer and the guacamole- super fresh. Decent service and prices were totally fine.

This place is yum. It is located right below our hotel and it seemed very lively. I sat outside where smoking is allowed which is unusual in the states! I ordered the fresh oyster in Chipotle juice which was incredibly good. Just add a hit of lime and you are done. The cilantro and hot sauce really compliments the juice. The Pozole was great as well and spicy! I enjoyed the cebiche de camrone the most. It has tons of flavors and just thinking about it is making my mouth water. The staff was very friendly but it's hard to communicate if you do not know espanol! The menu is in Spanish as well so translating took a little bit longer on my part. This place is definitely one of the go to places if you are in the business area.

Then, allow the friendly staff to bring as many items from the menu as you can handle. Come with a group so you can share. An absolute must is the whole fish done à la Contramar, one side of the split fish coated in a punchy parsley sauce and the other in a red adobo rub. Served with flour tortillas (which are refillable) and black bean dip, you'll be instructed how to compose perfect bites. Then, choose your own adventure! We also had both the 4 piece each shrimp tostadas and tuna tostadas. Radically different so getting both doesn't duplicate. The pasta (spaghettini) with clams was buttery and garlicky and the pasta was surprisingly not overcooked. Biggest surprise was the grilled soft shell crabs (with corn tortillas). They came pre cut then reassembled so it was easy to pick them up and pop them in your mouth. The grill flavor was fantastic and we were all impressed. We finished with a slice of coconut cake which was like a caramel coated macaroon. Perfect! Large wine list by the glass and bottle, many cocktails, sangria and beer to choose from. Definitely a place to visit when in Mexico City. Sorry for the lack of photos-- we forgot because we dove into each dish (we were hungry and they looked so good)! Got one good one though...

Stumbled upon this spot and discovered it was a Michelin guide recommendation. We didn't have a…read morereservation, but we managed to snag a table around lunch time. Loved the open kitchen environment, so you could really see the work they put into the dishes. The interior of the restaurant is stunning -- a mix of industrial + rustic that somehow worked perfectly together. I noticed a bunch of reviews complaining about the service, but our servers were rather pleasant to us. We decided to try some: TOSTADA DE PANZA ATUN and TARTAR: The tuna belly tostada is an absolute must order. Best bang for your buck because they really loaded on the tuna belly. It was buttery and melted in your mouth. The tartar tostada was also very delicious and the sweetness of the avocado balanced out the flavors. CEVICHE DE CARRETA: The presentation was lovely and the server encouraged us to take a pic before we mixed the seafood into the sauce. The sauce was divine and every piece of seafood was fresh tasting. Could not get over how sweet the avocados were too! The blue corn tostada complementing this was one of the freshest tasting tostada we had this whole trip. Luckily they refilled our tostada basket constantly, because we were going through these like nothing. OSTION KUMAMOTO and CENIZA: Incredibly fresh! I believe most of their oysters are from Baja California or Baja California Sur. The oysters had a very subtle brine to it, but also very sweet and creamy. Actually loved the ponzu sauce more than a standard vinaigrette. CAMARONES FRITO: I'm usually pretty particular with my fried shrimps, but my god these were delicious! Somehow the shrimps were fried so well that the shell blended seamlessly with the meat. These were served with two types of sauces: a garlic aioli and ponzu. Both paired very nicely with the shrimp -- the ponzu being my favorite. This was the perfect amount for my party of 2. After experiencing the quality of food and atmosphere, I get why they're a Michelin guide recommendation. Campobaja turned out to be our favorite meal of this entire trip and had us running back to our friends to tell them about it. Would definitely return!

The interior was brightly lit with a large beautiful bar, and had the vibe of a French cafe. We were brought out some complimentary (pita-like) bread, which was nice, but would have been better with something like olive oil to dip it in. My friend and I ordered 3 items to share - the Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms, Eggplant Parmesan, and Barbacoa. Portions were on the smaller side, but this was the perfect food quantity for us. The Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms were fine but a little bland. I liked the Eggplant Parmesan and Barbacoa, but neither really blew my mind. For everything I'd heard about Lardo, I felt like our experience was good but not amazing. Would check it out for breakfast to compare!

We arrived a little early for our Monday night reservation and had to wait outside since they were busy. The ambiance inside is intimate- definitely a date-night vibe with tables very close together. We ordered the pizza, stuffed squash blossoms, kebab taco, and truffle gnocchi. The stuffed squash blossoms ended up being the most flavorful dish of the night- and that's not saying much, because most of the flavor came from the tomato sauce. The pizza was good, but nothing special. It was satisfying in a "carbs will save me" kind of way. We ordered the kebab taco cooked medium, but mine came out medium rare. If this were a steak, I wouldn't have minded, but ground beef at that temperature carries a food safety risk. After reading multiple reviews about people getting sick here, I wasn't comfortable taking that chance. I asked for it to be recooked, and the waitress was kind and brought out a fresh plate. It was decent, but again, nothing special. The truffle gnocchi was where things really went downhill. When it hit the table, it smelled like mildew. I know truffle can be strong and earthy, but this didn't seem right. I forced myself to take one bite so I wasn't judging off smell alone, but it tasted exactly how it smelled. My friend and I didn't even eat 1/8 of the dish, and it was the most expensive item we ordered. Low key felt like our waitress should've asked why we didn't eat the dish nor ask for it to be boxed but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The dessert, however, was the best thing I had all night. Truly divine. Now I can't tell if it was actually top-tier or if I was just so hungry and desperate for something good that it felt that way in the moment- but either way, it was the one bright spot. Overall, it just didn't live up to the hype which made it sting even more.
