If I could give zero starts that would have been the rating. I would absolutely NOT recommend camping here. The owner has no idea what happens and allows the manager to run wild. The written contract rules don't really matter because they aren't enforced and rules that you've never heard of are. The amount of gossip and drama is worse than high school, and this too stems from the campground manager. The kids 'jungle gym' is a death trap and after our three years there it was evident the owner doesn't have any interest in improving the campground. STAY AWAY! read more

Under new management, can't guarantee the food will be as good as it was. But definitely a nice atmosphere

I recently was camping on Caldron Falls at the Governor Thompson State Park boat in only campsites and we visited Fisher's every night we stayed. Their staff and food was great and on Saturdays they have live music that is a really fun group to revel with. My dog also ran away while we were camping and Deb, Evan and Augie couldn't have been more helpful. They lent us life jackets, boated us over to and from the campsites and put up a flier for us in the bar. They were super concerned and did everything they could to help. Great place to hang out and I will definitely be back. read more

great pub food and incredible music. saw a show with Memphis Star, great fun was had by all. the owners take great pride in their establishment. will be going to the live music nights often. read more
