The rooms are stylish, spotless, and perfectly appointed for comfort after a day exploring Commercial Street. Their attention to detail is incredible--you can tell they genuinely care about their guests' experience. The location couldn't be better, right in the heart of town but still peaceful when you want to unwind.

I have stayed at Pilgrim House for the first and last time…read more At check-in, I was blindsided with the news that a mini-fridge would cost me an extra $26.50 a night, and that a parking space was an extra $50 a night. I passed on the mini-fridge but could not forego the parking space. As such, my bill came to $100 more than I expected to pay. And that was just the beginning. I figured I could make up for my lack of a mini-fridge with the ice machine, but there was none. At least, I couldn't find it after searching all three floors. The room itself lacked such basic amenities as a clock, a coffee maker, a microwave, a notepad, a telephone, and a table for my laptop. (Not being religious, I didn't bother to check for a Bible.) The lamps were somewhat dim, which made it difficult to read the book I had brought with me. And the nightstand was so shoddily made, it actually came apart when I moved it! I had to reassemble the damned thing. For good measure, the WiFi kept dropping out as well. To top it all off, I could hear the guest next door to me snoring. Good thing I brought earplugs. At $200+ a night, I expected much better than this.

The location was perfection, basically in the center of town, but offset from the main street enough that nearly no noise reaches the Inn. We stayed in the Crow's Nest, which is a relatively small room but it was impeccably clean and very comfortable. The highlight of the room itself was the shower, surprisingly luxurious feeling. There were plenty of other amenities available. We took advantage of the breakfasts and parking spots, but I know they also had bikes available, as well as a little patio/garden that seems like it would be lovely in warmer weather. To top it off, Chip's pastries are *absolutely divine*, we were sneaking more of them all day long. There were also plenty of dogs around all weekend long. I would not recommend this spot, or the town in general, to someone not comfortable with dogs, but I had a ball :)

We were shocked at how quiet the house is while literally only one block from Commercial Street. It's very convenient to all of the shops, restaurants, and nightlife. The faucets, shower, and amenities are top-notch and have a luxury feel to them. The breakfast was tasty and saved us a bundle (P-Town is not known for inexpensive dining). The hosts were helpful with offering suggestions and recommendations. We also enjoyed meeting the other guests from around the world. What's not to love about this place? We can't wait to come back and we will DEFINITELY stay here!
