I went in thinking I needed new front brake pads. They checked them and told me my brakes are still very good. No charge for the check. Wow I am impressed with this place. When I do need new brakes in the future, I will definitely come back here. read more

Noticed I had a nail in my tire, so I found the closest tire shop to me and thankfully it was Fisher Tires! My dad doesn't let me go to any car stores by myself anymore because I always get talked into something I don't need (at the ripe age of 22), but every employee here was the kindest most helpful person ever! Could really tell they found pure joy in quality work and helping people in need. Also don't know what goodness they put in their coffee there but had two cups and ran a mile PR, maybe it was the coffee maybe it was being high on the joy that is Fisher tires. read more

I have been going to Fisher Tire for 2 decades. They are on of the few independent garages that I really trust. I feel that fisher is a great value for auto repair. They don't charge for diagnosing a problem and they are very helpful, in terms of controlling the cost of repairs. They do, also, offer great tire sales and service. read more

Family owned business with lasting relationships and trust. I will always feel comfortable with them working on my vehicle.

Extremely happy all around. This is a phrase not used when your car typically breaks down. Professional from beginning to end. Worked with me on pickup times, identified and fixed the problem quickly, and treated me fairly. Go here if you are whether you are being towed or if you have the ability to coast in. I will be back and thank you! read more

Prior to this experience, I would have given them about 3 stars but (currently) I feel like they are at 1.5 stars. That being said, I am willing to give them the "benefit of the doubt" and round up to 2 stars. I went in for a 4 wheel alignment assessment and requested (what I refer to as) a "pre-alignment alignment status color print out". Why is the color coded print out important to me? Because it CLEARLY and EASILY shows the severity of an out of alignment condition by employing the classic green, yellow, and red color code to convey the importance / urgency of any misalignment condition. In the past when I have requested this information at any other alignment place (including this companies Farragut location) this was considered an absolutely NORMAL and ROUTINE request. In other words, I am able to VERY EASILY get these printouts BEFORE deciding to align the vehicle... but, for some reason, this Fisher Tire location refused to give me one unless I went forward and had the alignment performed. I can't remember the exact excuse that they gave me, but do remember that they refused to give me a pre-alignment printout / assessment of my car's alignment. This put me in a "chicken or the egg" situation as I was not able to obtain the information that I usually have to be able to rationally decide if I should go ahead or not with getting the car aligned. As a result (and 100% out of shear and ignorant caution) I had the alignment performed. AFTER the alignment was fully performed, I finally did get the printout, but it seemed like they were providing it with a begrudging or resentful attitude. Additionally, it was only in black and white and not in color (see attached picture). Since having this alignment performed, I have read elsewhere that it is possible for a technician to "bump" the "before" alignment measurements to make it appear as though the vehicle needs an alignment (when it doesn't). I am not saying Fisher Tire actually did that, but I am saying that I am suspicious of it due to my overall alignment experience at this location (outlined above). As a result, I am sorry to report that I did NOT appreciate the whole experience and regret that I can not recommend this location of Fisher Tire to anyone. They had been OK in the past, but this last transaction obviously left me with a VERY, VERY, BAD "taste in my mouth" as they say. read more

Fisher Tire - This ROUTINELY PROVIDED report should have been available BEFORE the alignment was performed and IN COLOR... IT WAS NOT!!! - Tires Near Me - Knoxville, Tennessee

This is the place I trust with my car in Knoxville. More than once, they have handled something small at no charge. For things like tires and brakes, they have consistently given me good advice - sometimes advice to wait longer to replace them. This is now where I go for my regular oil change because I know they are not trying to sell me on extras I don't need. The guys who work here are friendly, fair, and trustworthy. read more

Just went to pick up my car after having a patch added to my tire. The guys walked by me on their way out. The problem is they didn't tighten the lug-nut and now I'm stuck and have to be in Nashville this evening!!! You would think a tire company would check to make sure the put the tire back on properly. So frustrated. read more

Originally was in love with this place. But they damaged the tire during instal. I didn't realize it until I was in Nashville so I couldn't go back to get it fixed. Had to spend $500 to get another new tire. read more

I used to go here until they lied straight to face about needing new brakes after an oil change. They quoted me $189 for rear brakes and said I only had 10% left. Went to budget brakes the next day and they showed me that my brake pads were in great shape and won't need new ones for awhile. Very disappointed in this business. read more

This is my preferred repair and maintenance shop after living in Knoxville since 1997 and trying out so many other places. They are honest and have excellent technicians. I've been bringing my work trucks and personal vehicles for the past five or six years and they always do great work, never sell me something I don't need, and the prices and time for repair are very reasonable. For transmission repair they have recommendations of other businesses, since they don't work on transmissions other than perhaps a service. read more

We took our car here to have a basic oil change, a new battery put in and have our brakes checked because they were making a horrible squealing noise. When we left after paying over $200.00, the brakes still sounded awful, our car started overheating and while driving our car, it was stalling out. We took our car back to them and explained the situation and we were told by the manager that there was nothing wrong. Instead of taking our car back to them we decided to get a second opinion so we took our car to Cedar Bluff Automotive on Executive Park Drive. After Cedar Bluff Automotive looked over our car, we found out that our back brake was cracked, oil had been poured into our radiator and they put the new battery in our car without cleaning the battery terminals and the battery was loose causing the car to stall out while driving. It cost us close to $1500.00 to have all this repaired. This was such a horrible and expensive experience. Thank God for Cedar Bluff Automotive. Our car is now fixed and is running like a brand new car. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Fisher Tire. This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had with our car. read more

I had an appointment and yet a simple oil change took nearly two hours. Front desk people vary from very pleasant and helpful to indifferent/bored. Today I had indifferent. Another customer had some complaints. I don't know the details but it did seem that the front desk did nothing to investigate the complaint, try to compromise, or retain the customer, who left angry. This is not good customer service. read more

Always excellent service. Always honest about what I need done! Won't buy tires anywhere else. Been coming here for over 20 years!

Best place to get your tires in Knoxville! Why?..they are friendly, knowable and they sell the best tires that have been stored properly! You can't beat their service! That's why it is still around and still locally owned. They genuinely care. That's why I wanted to write this and thought it was worthwhile sharing. read more

These guys are great. Best prices and service in Knoxville. I'm been a customer for over 10 years. Others told me tires were less expensive in Oak Ridge, turned out not to be true by a long shot. They also replaced my breaks and do all my oil changes. read more

We went there Saturday, 12/11/16, for an oil change. We were heading to Nashville the following Tuesday when we began to have car trouble. We stopped in Harriman and it was a good thing we did. The oil had been over filled by about 2 quarts! That could have easily blown seals and tore up the motor!!! When I came back home, I called the store and spoke to the manager. I told him what had happened. He informed me they don't have those sort of problems, the car was hot which is why it "appeared" to be overfull. I explained that the MECHANIC who checked the oil, knew how to check the oil. He also had to drain some out of the car. I will NEVER go back there, ever! I strongly suggest you don't go there either. read more

This place replaced our tires and front rotors. We didn't drive it for about a week later and a couple days after driving it we noticed a knocking noise with every tire revolution but couldn't see anything from the outside that looked wrong. They couldn't get us in that day to see us so we were supposed to bring it in the next morning. That evening driving down the road my wife completely lost her brakes, the brake hose had exploded apparently. We had it towed to them to look at the next morning. They say that she must have hit something to cause that and it had nothing to do with the work they did and we would have to pay to replace it or we could take it somewhere else. I find it hard to believe that there is no connection with the work they had just done and had that confirmed by other mechanics that I know. I would be weary of this place, they almost killed my wife and kids who were in the car. read more

These guys do a fantastic job at customer service! Always knowledge and friendly and priced competitively. Will continue to use them for years to come! read more

Recently moved here from out of state... Paid my car off and per Murphy's law it breaks down. 2007 VW Jetta with 68k miles... No means a beater. These guys got me in and fixed in under 4 hrs. Spark plugs ignition coil and all. More than fair pricing, would have ran me ,$800+ at the dealership!! Great customer service and prompt follow up/communication!! read more

Under no circumstances will I ever bring my car to them again. About a month ago I brought my car to be looked at by them and ended up spending at least 600 (new radiator, serpentine belt, coolant flush, thermostat, etc.) Two days ago I brought it in because it was driving funny, I was already in Turkey Creek taking my dad to the doctor so I dropped it off. They had my car for the majority of the day, and basically told me there was nothing wrong with it. Lo and behold I get in my car to head to work this morning and lost all control of my car, no power when I had my foot on the accelerator and then it sounded as if something fell out of under neath my car. After some type of miracle I got it off the interstate and waited for TDOT to show up. TDOT followed me for about a quarter of a mile till it began to jerk and lose power yet again. After pulling off the road the second time, they decided they would follow me to a gas station to make sure I was safely off the interstate and somewhere safe, I was informed by the awesome TDOT gentlemen that there was fuel or something billowing out of my exhaust. Now I had tried to explain to Fisher that there was something wrong with my car and I was blown off. My family has been doing business with this company for 10 plus years, and I cannot believe that whatever is wrong with my car was just overlooked and that I was told that there was nothing wrong with it. If I had been charged for them looking at it on Monday I would be even more livid, but thankfully I was saved from having another bill from them. This has been the most disappointing experience I've ever had with any company within the service industry, and now I have to find another mechanic to fix whatever this problem is with my vehicle. read more
