No attempt to establish any type or patient/physician relationship. I described the only issue I have been having, and he prescribed me an anti-depressant because it would also help with my symptoms, although I'm not experiencing any of the symptoms associated with depression. Understandable that medicine can be used for treatment of other things. Totally irresponsible to prescribe me a new medication that is known to have side effects that can alter your brain chemistry and then tell me to schedule a follow-up in ONE YEAR. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the rest of the staff was fantastic

However, over the last 6 months, I have experienced MANY office communication problems. This is across the board with specialists and primary care physicians. The providers' staff DO NOT return phone calls or respond to messages. I had to physically walk into the back of my primary doctor's office, (without an appointment, and no one at the front desk) to get a referral for PT after calling four times with the request. The nurse was concerned she hadn't gotten the messages, and I showed her my call log to verify the contacts. This is just one example, we have had three other concerning encounters involving cancelled appointments (on their end), records not being forwarded to specialists outside the site, and an inability to schedule or reschedule appointments as no one returns our calls. Primary doctors and nurse practitioners retire or resign and there are no replacements, the existing doctors are stretched thin. We unfortunately, after 30+ years, will be looking for a location.

I am…read moreblessed to have a knowledgeable, compassionate and understanding doctor that cares about each of her patients and is determined to address difficult health issues. I have been ill for almost five years and started seeing her just over a year ago. Prior to seeing her, I could feel my health steadily deteriorating and did not expect to see 2014 much less 2015. The best way that I can explain this feeling is that your spirit assesses your body and tells your mind that you won't be around much longer. Some may say that this is merely a depression but, I can assure you that it is not... Other doctors were not able to treat or diagnose my condition and brushed my feeling horrible off as being a symptom of depression. In actuality, I had become frustrated as a result of not feeling well for such a long period of time. Although my condition has not been pin pointed exactly and my body and spirit is exhausted , I do not feel my health declining at an alarming speed thanks to Dr. Asadi. My doctor cares enough to closely monitor my condition and I certainly believe that I have more time as a result. Had i remained under the care of a former " time clock watching doctor", I most likely would not be writing this review. I love my doctor and appreciate all that she has done to stabilize my health. I just wish that I had found her much sooner...

You can usually get a routine appointment in less than a week. Prescription refills are easy, online access is well laid out and hopefully secure. All the docs that I have met at this office are knowledgeable and interested in providing high quality care. Parking is plentiful, free and convenient. You can even stop by the new and improved Tarks for a big, juicy burger (after you get your blood drawn for your cholesterol test).

He's one of those primary care doctors who chose primary care because they believe in it, not because they couldn't get into dermatology or surgery. He went to MIT for undergraduate and worked at MIT in computer science before computers were widespread, and he went back to medical school after a successful career in computer science. He's located at GBMC, and it's easy to get lab tests downstairs. Now that I've moved away, I'm having trouble finding a doctor who even comes close to measuring up.

That's what happens when a doctor takes the time to get to know a patient today, listen to all his/her concerns, address them, explain all the side effects of prescribed medications, etc. Dr. Lamson was a consummate professional who left left no symptom unaddressed, no illness undiagnosed before you left his office. Now I go to a doctor who sees me for 15 minutes, doesn't even listen to my heart or lungs even though I have had hypertension for 25 years, and double pneumonia twice, and throws me out of my office (times up!) before I can get my prescriptions refilled. Youth of Amerika, this is your future!
