If you're staying on Jekyll, St Simons, or Sea Island, have a kitchen, and want fresh shrimp for your recipe or appetizer, this is the place to get it. You'll pay half what you pay at the other seafood markets and the quality is superb. Bring a cooler or heavy bag in which to put the ice-packed plastic bag of shrimp. We usually get five pounds to use while we're visiting and pick up another five to take back to Atlanta on our way out of town.
