That said, I saw AFI, in all of their venerable East Bay hardcore sXe glory, in the 909 and was wholly delighted by the abundance of cheap and well-organized parking as well as the affable and efficient security officers. The venue was clean and well-kept and the space was not -too-big, not-too-small, affording me the opportunity to use my kung fu to get all the way up front and be one of the select few to support Davey Havok's knees when he crawled out onto the crowd to sing, and I could hear him perfectly because the sound levels in the joint were Just Right. KEVIN HART!!!!!!!!!!!!…read more I came to Coussoulis Arena to see Kevin Hart perform. It was one of the best events that I have ever gone to and I've probably never laughed that hard in my entire life. The seats were amazing and the Arena had a ton of seats. The prices for the food and drink also seemed pretty reasonable for this kind of event. Noooooow on to the bad. First off, when we parked the parking attendant told us that the arena was in one direction and we saw everyone else going in another direction. Luckily, we followed all the others and were directed to the arena. Then, the line for checking tickets and security was horrendous. Not everyone got in until around 8:30 and Kevin Hart started performing at around 8:15 with the show time starting at 8:00. So a few people missed some of the show, including me. AND THEEEEN, when me and my brother were finally seated, our tickets were checked 4 times. 4 TIMES!!! It really took the wind out of the show and I was distracted for at least 5 minutes because of it. So overall, the arena had great space, good atmosphere and the show was awesome, but it was disorganized, slow and kind of annoying. Disclaimer: I got my tickets off craigslist and they may have been fake, which is why they were checked so much, but they looked real and we saw the whole show so extra point for them there. How time flies! All staff were amazing from parking lot to food venues to stage/seating area. Thank you all for your service! This amphitheater has a 65,000 capacity for outdoor entertainment venue that normally hosts live music acts & local festivals plus special events like high school graduation. Parking lot consists of paved concrete and grass area. Restrooms are available. As for seating, the chairs were surprisingly not too bad and somewhat comfortable. Last night I was sitting at Loge 7 near the second tower from the left facing the stage. Luckily, they had the big screens showing the presenters and the students walking up to get their diploma. Entering the facility was smooth. Exiting from it was challenging because there were so many people. Family and friends were trying to find their graduate student. It was chaos to say the least. Nevertheless, this amphitheater is a great place for celebration venues. Thank you!

I just attended a Grey Day G59 concert this weekend. We already knew that traffic to get into…read moreparking would likely suck due to the construction right at the location. We arrived early to prevent having to sit in the car during such high temps around 105. It was scorching hot but thankfully breezy, which was nice and made it feel cooler than it really was. General admission parking was free but it was a FAR walk. If you can't tolerate a long walk during hot weather or walking on sand, dirt and rocks, I advise that you pay for parking that takes you right to the entrance. It will be well worth it. Comfortable shoes are a must if you park in general admission too. Had I not been wearing my HOKA Bondi shoes (very thick and high soles), I would not have been able to walk this rocky path. Be aware that there can be broken glass here and there during the walk to the venue. Entering the parking lot wasn't bad since we arrived early, but as usual after all concerts, exiting is a nightmare. I don't understand why they never have parking lot attendants directing the traffic to be more efficient. They had one person there, however, it was multiple lanes merging into an exit that could only fit ONE car at a time. That's just insane to me. The venue had some porta-potties in the parking lot and some immediately outside close to the lake. The lake itself also had actual restrooms which I did not use, so I cannot tell you how it was inside. If I had to guess, it was probably as gross as other public restrooms. My rating of one star out of five is heavily based on the actual restrooms at the Glen Helen Amphitheater. They only had two restrooms from what I was able to find. TWO. The women's restroom was in the back of the men's restrooms on the left upon entry. You could not see a sign that guided you there either. We just happened to find it because we went in circles. That restroom was absolutely nasty. It wasn't that the women were being filthy. It was because the restrooms kept clogging and overflowing. Some areas had working toilets but you had to stand in an inch of water. It was so disgusting. Nobody and I mean NOBODY at the venue did anything to clean up that mess and unclog other than to refill hand soap, toilet paper or seat covers. The other women's restroom could have had the same problem but I am unsure. Food and drink vendors were available but not a lot of options which were of course pricey. The area in front of the venue where vendors were located, was not very spacious so it got pretty packed and difficult to walk. The merch line that I found was super long and snaked around in front of all the food and drink stalls and sellers. The entertainment, sounds and lights were great. No complaints there. I got what I expected to hear with the sound quality. Honestly, although the walk from general parking wasn't great and the restrooms were horrendous, the venue itself wasn't bad. The seats were spacious enough that someone with long legs wouldn't be up against the seat backs in front of them. I love and prefer outdoor venues and I would only return here with VIP parking and only after they fix the bathroom issues. I am just not down to be standing in toilet water. Until then, I will have to find another location to attend a concert.

I think you paid a couple dollars or something and got to use it until you tired out from it. It was great. Now I can't find anywhere with straight forward public pay-for swimming, and it doesn't help that the lists are full of places that have no reason to be on such a list, unless the goal is a devious one meant to screw with the heads of people like me. I have neighbors with pools, but I honestly don't like the idea of using anyone's pool that I'm neighbors with. Just don't feel comfortable with it, and I could try to explain why, but it's a personal thing that makes sense to me, and perhaps might or might not to you. It's too bad Chaffey probably underutilizes their pool now. How much pool action could they possibly have in an official capacity? Like 10% of the pool at most? That's such a waste.

On this particular night, we were there to see a David Bowie tribute show and the cocktails were themed after Bowie songs which was a really cute touch. Parking in the area was easy and I luckily found an inexpensive spot to park. The sound quality in the venue was great and I don't think there was a bad seat in the house. I look forward to coming here again someday. The service at the venue was excellent! I had an issue where I lost something and security was so helpful. The ushers were fantastic, friendly, and caring. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I enrolled with Mission Career College on August 7 and was scheduled to begin classes at the San…read moreBernardino campus on August 31. On August 26, I called the school specifically to confirm the start date, class hours, and lunch schedule. During that conversation, I was not informed that the class had been canceled or that there were any issues with the scheduled start date. When I arrived at the San Bernardino campus on August 31, the building was closed, the lights were off, and no staff members were present. There was also a Southern California Edison "Final Call" notice posted on the door regarding the electric service. I have included a photo of the notice with this review. Seeing an electric-service notice posted on the door of a career college where I was supposed to begin my education was very concerning. Combined with the canceled class and lack of communication, it made me seriously question the reliability and credibility of the school and whether I could depend on the program remaining available long enough for me to complete my training. Because I had received no notification explaining the situation, I drove to the Riverside campus, where I originally enrolled and completed my assessment. Staff there informed me that someone should have contacted me to let me know the San Bernardino class had been canceled. I was also told that the San Bernardino location may be shutting down and that there may be a night class at the Riverside campus toward the end of September if enough students enroll. I am extremely disappointed with how this was handled. I had been enrolled since August 7 and had already waited nearly a month for the program to begin. More importantly, I personally contacted the school only five days before my scheduled start date to verify the class information. Despite that, I was given no indication that the class would not be taking place. There is also an issue involving my workers' compensation education vouchers. The vouchers were returned to me, but I was informed that they had already been submitted for payment. I now have to contact my workers' compensation administrator to make sure payment is not processed so that I can use my vouchers toward a program at another school. I understand that classes can be canceled and circumstances can change. However, I believe an enrolled student should be notified promptly--especially when that student specifically calls days beforehand to confirm the class. Finding out that my class had been canceled only after arriving at a closed campus, seeing an electric-service notice on the door, and then having to drive to another campus to obtain an explanation was extremely disappointing. It has delayed my education and created an additional issue involving my workers' compensation funding. Based on my experience, I would recommend that prospective students get their enrollment information, class start date, and funding status in writing and verify everything before making plans around a scheduled program and continuously check that your class is still scheduled to start.
