She walked around the house with us and confirmed she could get what we wanted. She helped us set a date to start showing the house and had a coming soon advertisement run so once we started showing we had 10 to 12 showings in the first four days. We had emptied the house and already moved out of state and by the end of the forth day of showing she sent us a list of many offers. We selected a offer but through no fault of Johnna it fell through. She contacted a back up offer and we closed in about a month. She worked with us long-distance and all the paperwork was easily signed and set back to her in Wilson. So bottom line, she sold the house for nearly $20,000 more than we wanted and had a buyer is 4 days. So if you are buying or selling you must give Johnna a call.

When my husband and I…read morewere first looking to move to the area I did a quick search for real estate agents on Yelp, Ryan's paged looked great and since it said he responded to Yelp messages typically within an hour (because who wants to pick up a phone?!) I figured I would reach out to see if he had any last minute availability to show us to a few properties and he did. Although Ryan's office is based in Chapel Hill don't let that deter you, we were only looking in Raleigh. He knows all the ins and outs of the Raleigh neighborhoods and can get here quickly when you need him. We went under contract only two weeks after working with him. He uses Patrick with a local home inspection company to do the inspection and he did a thorough job. After the great inspection Ryan said the only thing left he could think of was a metal detector test of the property, since the house was older and there was a small chance of an underground oil tank. We did the test not thinking much of it and turns out there was an underground tank and it had extensively leaked. Ryan and his assistant Karen headed up making all the appointments and getting the right people out there to deal with the issue. Sadly the seller didn't want to really deal with the issue so away that contract went. Since Ryan knew what we were looking for was kind of niche he sent us a property here and there and we kept our eyes open as well. When a house popped up on the market on a Thursday night we text him if he could meet us there the next morning to take a look. He did and we feel in love. We put an offer in that day and started the process all over again. The second time around we worked with Karen a lot and she is great to work with as well. We successfully closed on this house and love where we ended up. An additional note since Ryan works in a group with a few other real estate agents if you need to see a house in a hurry and he isn't available, he will coordinate with someone in his office who is. I told them I had cash for the term meaning if the rent was $500/mnth and for a year I would pay, upon agreement, $6000 into an escrow account so lessor could be paid each month with no worries. I told this to 2 employees but was still was asked for un needed documentation by another employee. It took them 2 weeks to process my application. This proved a problem as housing I had arranged for the time was not available. And affording temporary housing at $1000 per week was not doable. There were no airbnb accommodations in the city once in. Further they told me the delay was that the owner, an real-estate agent, was on vacation. When I pulled property records I found a corporation owns the property. So it seems they lied about an agent owing the property. After two weeks and numerous phone calls they said the apt was ready and the delay has because they had to do repairs. ( the prior week they said the city had to inspect it and that would cause a delay When I called the city inspectors they said no inspection is scheduled for the property. ) When I told them I was a little upset at the way I had been treated they told me to never mind and refused to rent to me. I was so Livid that I had them call the police to keep the peace. Some people have to rent, I am not one and I refuse to be treated so poorly.
