Ryan helped me find and buy an amazing house, sight unseen, from across the country (my first house!). He was helpful, knowledgeable, and appropriately skeptical as we were picking houses to bid on. He knew how to structure offers that were reasonable but strong, given our situation. He guided us through negotiations around inspections and shoring up loose legal ends, and he even helped us with a raw land opportunity that popped up halfway through our purchase. I'd absolutely work with Ryan again, but it went so well I have no reason to for quite some time. read more

Ryan is awesome! I highly recommend hiring him to be your real estate agent. When my husband and I were first looking to move to the area I did a quick search for real estate agents on Yelp, Ryan's paged looked great and since it said he responded to Yelp messages typically within an hour (because who wants to pick up a phone?!) I figured I would reach out to see if he had any last minute availability to show us to a few properties and he did. Although Ryan's office is based in Chapel Hill don't let that deter you, we were only looking in Raleigh. He knows all the ins and outs of the Raleigh neighborhoods and can get here quickly when you need him. We went under contract only two weeks after working with him. He uses Patrick with a local home inspection company to do the inspection and he did a thorough job. After the great inspection Ryan said the only thing left he could think of was a metal detector test of the property, since the house was older and there was a small chance of an underground oil tank. We did the test not thinking much of it and turns out there was an underground tank and it had extensively leaked. Ryan and his assistant Karen headed up making all the appointments and getting the right people out there to deal with the issue. Sadly the seller didn't want to really deal with the issue so away that contract went. Since Ryan knew what we were looking for was kind of niche he sent us a property here and there and we kept our eyes open as well. When a house popped up on the market on a Thursday night we text him if he could meet us there the next morning to take a look. He did and we feel in love. We put an offer in that day and started the process all over again. The second time around we worked with Karen a lot and she is great to work with as well. We successfully closed on this house and love where we ended up. An additional note since Ryan works in a group with a few other real estate agents if you need to see a house in a hurry and he isn't available, he will coordinate with someone in his office who is. Team work for the win! read more

Ryan Cassidy Realty - The house Ryan and Karen helped us close on! - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Chapel Hill, North Carolina

If you are looking for a realtor in the Triangle-Triad area, Ryan Cassidy is one of the best. He is very knowledgeable about the area and takes time to get to know his client's needs so he can best serve. I highly recommend him on your quest to find new home! read more

We found Ryan by LUCK and honestly someone was looking out for us. Ryan ended up being the best decision we made! We had a short time frame to find a house and could not invest much effort in researching the areas. We had created a spreadsheet of homes and Ryan gave us his honest opinions about neighborhoods/crime/location. Our sellers were very challenging people to interact/work with especially as first time honors. Ryan (and Mya) were really helpful navigating the challenging process and challenging sellers. We ultimately closed and were so happy we did! Thanks again Ryan! We have recommended him to many of our friends and would definitely use him again read more

Just closed with Ryan. He and his team worked well together. Everything went like clock work. Ryan was on call when needed even when he was out of the country. Easy to work with, very straightforward knowledgeable Couldn't ask for a better person to buy real estate with. Very accessible, great follow up. Thank you Ryan, Jim read more

I reached out to Ryan Cassidy in December 2019 for the sell of my home. I found Ryan reviews on Yelp and let me just say Ryan is awesome. Ryan listened to all me and my husband needs. The house was shown and within : days I had a buyer. The house just closed in 45 days. Ryan was patient, professional and provided sound advise and instructed me through out the entire process. Thank you Ryan. R Allen read more

We recently worked with Ryan on purchasing a new home. First time home buyers and moving from out of state. He worked above and beyond what a typical realtor does. His attention to detail and to his customer service skills are what set him apart from the rest. I was 600 miles away the whole time, and the entire process went smoothly. If we decide to move again in the near future within the triangle, we will be working with Ryan. read more

Ryan was absolutely amazing for my first time home buying experience. He found so many amazing properties and was extremely knowledgeable about the market. Ryan found the home I ended up buying before it even came on the market and we toured it on the first day it was available. I am extremely grateful to have had him as a resource and partner throughout the home buying journey and recommend him to all prospective buyers, he is truly the best! read more

Thorough and follows through and goes above and beyond, too bad, he's too busy to take on new clients. So contacting a new agent.

Best realtor of all time! We found Ryan on yelp and loved all his reviews so we went with him even though many of our family and friends were referring us to their realtors. We made the right decision with picking Ryan! I would trust him with my own child! We are about to move into our new home tomorrow thanks to Ryan. He made the process so easy and exciting and took care of so many details that we didn't even know realtors did! He is so calm and quiet and patient and has a great sense of humor too! His colleagues are wonderful as well. We will recommend him to every single person we ever meet whether they are looking to sell their house or buy a new one! WE LOVE YOU RYAN! read more

RYAN IS AMAZING!! He knows the entire Triangle extremely well, and helped me decide between multiple areas by comparing value and amenities of each. He really wants to help and I did not feel pressured to buy any specific property. Instead, Ryan gave me detailed info all of the pros and cons of each property and location while helping me decide what was most important. Once I found the home I wanted Ryan was quick with locking it down for me. He had recommendations for home inspectors, loan officers, and attorneys - the process went so smoothly I kept thinking I was missing something!! I got the house of my dreams at a great price and I couldn't be more happy. Thank you Ryan!! read more

My husband and I had a great experience with Ryan when we were buying our first house. Like many first time home buyers, we had a thousand questions and weren't 100% sure about even the most general when/where/what preferences until we had a chance to look at a number of homes in the area. Ryan was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, always easily reachable, and most importantly patient! He worked with us through what he called one of the most lengthy closing processes he'd had- delays with the seller's contractors finishing a deck that was required for the house to pass inspection, multiple re-inspections, some other issues that I have clearly blocked from my memory....it was a lot! What really stood out to both of us, was that even after closing on the house and moving in, when we had issues with the standards on the new deck that had just been completed, Ryan arranged for his own contractor to come out and make the repairs (out of his own pocket) to make it right for us. That is something you don't see every day! Beyond Ryan's professional expertise and exemplary customer service, his website was absolutely the most helpful and user friendly of any we browsed. It was super easy to filter the results based on location and other specifications, and the layout made it easy to get a quick sense of the details on each option. In short, we couldn't have asked for a better buying experience with Ryan, and we plan to use him again next year when we sell our home! read more

Ryan is hands-down the best agent to work with in the Triangle. Don't let his calm, humble demeanor fool you. He has incredible breadth of knowledge and will take care of everything for you as a home buyer. I was so impressed by his professionalism, honesty, and work ethic. He also has a solid network of connections throughout the Triangle. Whatever the need, whether it was inspections or septic work, he has a guy for it. It was reassuring to know that anyone he recommended had been thoroughly vetted and would do great work. Our dream house wasn't even listed for sale publicly and Ryan forwarded it to us before it even went on the market. We felt so lucky to have Ryan on our side - we never would have found our dream home if it wasn't for him. Ryan is extremely thorough and offers thoughtful insights and remarks on important considerations during every walk-through of a home. One of the homes we viewed was on a steep hill and he pointed out recent reinforcements to the deck that were likely due to erosion damage to the foundation below it. Who notices something as small as that?! Ryan did. During other walkthroughs, we would catch him ducking into tight crawlspaces or emerging from underneath dirty decks so that he could report back to us on every little detail. During the due diligence period, he suggested that we get the septic system pumped and inspected even though it had been done recently by the current owners. It was totally backed up to the top and we found a major structural issue that needed to be repaired. Ryan has been so wonderful to work with and helped guide us through the entire home buying experience with confidence and ease. Seriously can't recommend this guy enough. Whatever your needs are, Ryan will be there for you every step of the way. read more

We are really grateful we had Ryan - amazing realtor. He's approachable, kind, responsive. He was particularly valuable for us: we mostly looked at old houses, and he could estimate what issues the property inspection might turn up, and what dollar amount we should plan for. We'd ask how much a new HVAC would cost here, how much structural work this one would need, and he could give us a range so we could make an informed decision. He was not pushy at all, and also ready to move quickly when we needed to get an offer in ahead of other buyers. He knew the market, knew the process: a great educator for us first-time homebuyers, and just a nice guy to work with. We spent a lot of time with him! He's straightforward and honest and expert in his field. We highly recommend him. read more

Ryan is absolutely the best realtor I have ever used! Very detail oriented, straight forward, honest, and efficient personality! He just helped me sell my property in NC where I used to live. The whole process was SMOOTH and he was so helpful! He first reviewed the property and recommended me for some repairs and cleanings. He helped me to coordinated the repair and cleaning process even pay the vendors first when i am not available. He made sure everything is in good order until the closing day! A great pleasure to work with him and his team! Thanks! read more

I wish there were more stars!! We recently used Ryan's services in selling our home in Northern Durham. We can't say enough great things about him! He is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. From our first meeting to the day of closing he was always accessible and very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had, whether it be by email, text or phone. We were in the process of moving and needed a particular document in order to put an offer on a house in Florida. He was out of town when we called him. He was literally on the beach we he called us back and actually ran up to his room to get on his computer to email us the document we needed. Not many people would do that! He always kept us in the loop and we never had to wonder where we were in the process. His excellent communication skills and follow through are second to none! For such a large/important transaction, Ryan ensured that it went extremely smooth. He was also always open to any suggestions or opinions we had. He takes such great pride in his work! Two examples of this are that he advises you of how best to show your home for the open house and he uses a professional photographer (Amy, who is also amazing!) to capture your home at it's most beautiful. Our home was under contract within 24 hours of listing and we got an over-asking price offer. We can't say enough great things about Ryan! It was such a pleasure working with him and we HIGHLY recommend him! read more

I wish I could give Ryan six (or more) stars. From the first interaction we had with Ryan (cold messaging after reading these reviews) to our closing yesterday, Ryan has been our MVP. My husband and I were super hesitant to move forward after a set of what can be best described as demoralizing real estate searches since April and Ryan made this process as straightforward as possible. By straightforward I mean: he provides insightful and thorough feedback, is incredibly responsive and patient in answering our (out of state + first time family home buyer noob) questions, and provided us with wonderful referrals for repair work. Additionally, his overall demeanor (calming, humble/no-ego, genuinely focused on the happiness/priorities of the folks he works with) is unparalleled. He is an excellent listener and gives solid, pragmatic advice. With Ryan's input & recommendations on our offer we were able to snatch our dream house in a pool of competing offers. I've been working with real estate agents in NYC, SF, Berkeley, NJ, etc., and had spoken to a couple of agents in the Chapel Hill area before chatting with Ryan, and I can say without reservation Ryan is the real deal. One out of a million. The kind of real estate agent you'd recommend your kids and grandparents to speak with first before making any kind of home purchase decision. Cannot recommend him highly enough! read more

WOW! Look no further, Ryan is the real deal folks. What an exceptionally competent, dedicated, and kind person he is! Our dream house and wish list seemed near impossible. The house we envisioned did not seem possible with our available budget. However, with Ryan's limitless patience and unparalleled knowledge of the area and neighborhoods, we were able to find the home we were looking for AND not only did it check all the boxes, but we got back some features that we had earlier compromised on. Ryan was responsive via email, text, and calls and we knew he had our back at every step of the journey. Not knowing much about the area, we really required an expert, and we certainly got one. This was our third home purchased, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We're likely staying in this home forever (that's how awesome Ryan is at getting you what you hope for!), but if we ever move again, Ryan will be the one we call. Thank you Ryan for being so AWESOME!!! read more

Ryan made the process as easy as possible. We live out of town and he had our back the entire time. Highly recommend.

Ryan is awesome to work with! There are so many good things that I can say about the way he runs his business but I would say the top 3 are his ability to talk with clients day or night, attention to details on what you like in a home, and he is very aggressive when it comes to negotiating. These are all so important when finding the perfect house. A lot of agents will show you what you want to see without doing the research. Ryan never misses a beat, he will find you the house you want and negotiate the details that you need. read more

After having a less-than-stellar experience with my previous North Carolina realtor, I really put Ryan to the test when selling my home and buying another that was for sale by owner. I have to say, Ryan and his assistant Karen, are pretty much the most unflappable people I have ever met! Their cheery, knowledgeable, supportive, personalities made buying and selling a home the most pleasurable experience ever! I cannot recommend Ryan and his team highly enough! He went over and beyond in so many ways to make sure that both deals were accomplished on time and with all parties satisfied. You cannot go wrong using Ryan! read more

Ryan was great. If you're unsure of who to go with; use him! I was new to the area and had never bought a house before. He was patient, not pushy at all, and explained all of the craziness of house buying in a way that I got. He responded to email and phone calls quickly, and worked with us (even when we pushed back a lot with the owners and wanted them to fix basically everything on the inspection report for a 25 year old house). He was also positive and upbeat, but not annoyingly so. We now have a great house with lots of repairs done before move in and we got it at a good price. He was willing to meet us near wherever we were and we never had to go to his office once! Ryan also had great ideas about who to use for a lawyer, inspector, repair guy, gutter installer, etc. And I'm confident that I can contact him in the future after our purchase if we have any more questions. He was overall great to work with! read more
