Very disappointed in First Watch. Food was packaged poorly. My over medium egg had burst in the container and most of my potatoes are burnt. The bacon was definitely more on the crispy side and tasted of old grease. Every thing was super greasy and oily. Standard American breakfast fare. You check in online and notify them that you are physically there once you arrive. Service is okay, they probably could have more staff for the volume of customers. It's a busy site and while you don't feel rushed, it's hard not to be aware that there seem to be people waiting there all the time. read more

I recently placed an order thru their app for a pickup and waited an hour past the pick up time. When I asked the hostess if she could check if they had my order she rudely said "cancel your order and move on". When I finally got my order and took it home it was wrong and missing items. And the food was subpar- rubber eggs and burnt potatoes. There were about 6 tables of people and 5-6 waitresses so there were not overloaded. I recommend staying away from this place! read more

We've been to a few First Watch restaurants and this one was okay to sort of a good experience. I have to share that I think what is influencing me is it was WAY too crowded and those wearing masks weren't all wearing them over their noses. The server touched the drinking part of the drinking glasses (gross) and checked on us once we were nearly done. Food was dependable, like what I'd expect from a First Watch. During the Covid situation, there were spacers in between the booths and other tables were spaced very far from each other. Whenever I go in the fall time, I just have to have the pumpkin pancake breakfast! The million dollar bacon is also a must have. Hey now the food is good! I've never had a baddie. I get the traditional breakfast, eggs over easy, bacon, home fries & artisan toast. Good coffee. I like First Watch, their not your typical breakfast place. I've eaten at First Watch before when I lived in Phoenix, so I was thrilled to see that they were here. I love the ambiance here more then I love the food. That doesn't mean the food is bad. It's actually really good. BUT, it's a little much for me on their menu, and I wasn't looking to pig out for breakfast as much as I was here to get a good hearty meal. After reviewing the menu, I stuck with two eggs over medium, hash browns with cinnamon raisin bread. When the food came out, I forgot just how beautiful and tasty it was here. (this is what happens when you have had one too many coney island breakfasts. *cough*) Anyways, the food and coffee were phenomenal. Totally on point and hit the spot. My sister and I tried the açaí squeeze spring menu juice and it was delicious! I definitely recommend it for a refreshing drink. My Dad and I stopped in, as I was looking at an adjacent property to possibly open an additional location of my own restaurant. Because of that, I was asking a few random non-First Watch questions to our server Britton, which she happily answered. I got an iced coffee, which can be really hit or miss these days. Some places make it *way* too sweet. FW had a nice blend, that was sweet, but not overpowering. It made the drink quite refreshing. For my meal, I tried the turkey sausage biscuits and gravy. Came with two over easy eggs, and their chunky potatoes. As someone who has become accustomed to eating farm fresh eggs from a local farm, I can actually tell now when eggs are more "high quality". That was absolutely the case at FW. The potatoes were seasoned nicely. And the sausage actually had a little spice to it. Which was pleasantly surprising. My dad got one of their signature omelettes. It came with chunky potatoes as well. He seemed to enjoy it. As he's become a bit of a light eater these days, he had a piece of his toast left, so i asked to try it. The toast must have been a wheat multi-grain of some sort. It was big, and toasted perfectly. The best part? The house made strawberry jam that came in a side ramekin. My goodness was that delicious. Combined with the real butter that had melted into the toast, it was incredible. I *almost* considering ordering a side, but thought better of it since I'd already wolfed down my meal plus a little of his. As I had mentioned earlier, Britton was a very personable and attentive server. Going above and beyond not just to get us everything we needed, but also to answer a few random questions about the building across the street. If you're into a modern take on breakfast, with some time to kill this place is for you. I went in on a Tuesday morning and was quickly seated. I thought this was going to be a somewhat quick stop. But that wasn't the case. We waited around 10 minutes for someone to stop at our table to take our drink order. Then another 5 minutes a different waiter came to take our food order (never saw the original waitress again). Next, the hostess ended up bringing our drinks. We waited 30 minutes to receive or food, and we wouldn't have been mad had the food been hot. The eggs and French toast (pictured) were not hot and felt like they'd been under the heat lamp for a while. The oatmeal was bland, and tasted like it was missing something. I even added the brown sugar and some syrup. It was too bland for me to finish. The bland taste goes for the eggs as well, not really any flavor. What was great was the French toast with compote, and syrup. The muffin that came with the oatmeal was also great. My critique about this was that there was no way of knowing what kind of muffin or compote you were getting. The other problem we ran into with the poor service was not knowing who to ask for things. We finished the water off and wasn't served a new one for about 10-15 minutes. I wast sure which wait staff member to ask since we kept having different ones. Very small for an omelette and it was heavily salted which ruined it. The mixed greens had no dressing that I could taste. The toast was tasteless. The waiter never came back to see if we liked our meal. I was so hungry and waited so long for it I just went ahead and ate most of it. However, the cashier asked how I liked my meal and I told her. She took 20 percent off which was kind. I will not be back. For $12 plus tip definitely not worth it.
