This is the 4th location of First Watch that I have tried so far. Comparing all to one another, I think this was one of the better experiences, especially with service. The restaurant is also spacious with high ceilings and the entrance is big so the space to wait for a table fits a lot of people. I think overall, it felt the most inviting. It was a Sunday morning. I added us to the waitlist online as soon as we parked. Within 10 min we were already seated. I must say, I've never had a faster and better experience at First Watch! Our server was also funny and very attentive. Start to finish, we were there for only 45 min. And that worked perfectly for us because we had other plans afterwards. Also, restaurant got so busy as we were about to leave. I ordered my usual, the market hash with over easy eggs. My husband ordered the tri-athletes and we also ordered French toast to share. We got coffee as well. Food was absolutely delicious. It is why we like First Watch a lot. Eggs cooked perfectly. Lots of veggies especially potatoes in my dish. Perfectly fluffy French toast. I ordered the pure maple syrup with it for an extra charge which was worth it in my opinion. My husband also liked his perfectly cooked eggs and enjoyed the fruit bowl. Coffee is very good here, we like it. We are big fans of First Watch and this location was fantastic so we will be returning. read more

Nice convenient location, was in the area, and hungry so I stopped in. I've had good experiences with first watch in the past. The server was good, location clean. I ordered the turkey sausage, gravy and biscuits with eggs and breakfast potatoes. Eggs and breakfast potatoes were great cooked perfectly nice and hot, but the gravy wasn't even room temperature. I had eaten most everything except for the biscuits and gravy when the server came by with the check, and I let her know that the gravy was lacking. She offered to have it remade, but I had already filled up on the other things. She spoke to the manager, and he made things right. So, I'm happy. I like it when a restaurant owns up. Even though we arrived at what was likely the busiest time--12:30 on a Sunday--the entire staff exuded such positive energy and warm, friendly personalities that our brunch felt nothing short of relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. While we waited to be seated, the manager was there near the door and was happy to chat with me to answer my questions about the featured pineapple, coconut water, and agave juice special and whether they have mimosas (which they do, made with white wine). Then, as we were off to be seated, he added with enthusiasm, "The Sangria is REALLY good and popular. It comes in a pitcher!" When I looked at the menu, I saw that it serves 2 to 3 people, making it a perfect option for sharing. Before our server even arrived, the hostess came over to get us started with beverages. And then came our server--the true star of the experience. Her contagious, high-energy personality made the entire meal feel even more fun and lively, adding to what was already an outstanding brunch. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote & cinnamon powdered sugar. You can make it even more delicious with butter and maple syrup. But the real standout? The Million Dollar Bacon--a must-try! The shareable platter of caramelized bacon slices was drizzled with maple syrup, seasoned with a slightly spicy, peppery kick, and sprinkled with chives. (See my photo!) For the health-conscious, this is definitely the place to dine. There are so many healthy options including beverages like fresh-pressed, nutrient-packed juices featuring ingredients like kale, turmeric, cucumber, and beets--perfect for a refreshing and health-boosting option. There are plenty of lunch options, as well; I had the half-sandwich & half-salad. We chose to sit outside, and the weather was gorgeous. This place always has a great variety of breakfast or lunch choices, juices! I wish the restaurant offers lattes. My friend had the bacon cornbread and it was delicious, huge, and best if shared! I had the lemon ricotta pancake and again, it was huge but the lemon curd was so amazing! I also had the Meditation drink which was refreshing. There's always something for different types of palates here. Service is always so great and from the host to the server, you know you will be looked after while you're there. The food was pretty basic. We wanted avocado toast. It wasn't anything exciting. They should serve it on a smaller plate so it won't look so empty, or throw some mixed greens on there. Been to this location about a dozen times over the 2 years, and never had any issues before. Today we were very disappointed with bith entrees that we ordered. Both issues likely come from the fact that staff is so busy in the kitchen that they are cutting corners when preparing meals. One of our dishes came with potatoes on the side. Usually they are tasty because they have a nice crisp on the cubed potato's. Today they​ were literally cooked just enough to be edible, but not a single side on any of the potatoes was crisp. Not even close. The kitchen and the serving staff should know better than to serve these. Either there was no kitchen manager to check items for correct cooking method, or of so they didn't care. I let it slide because I thinking it was just an off morning for the people making potatoes today. But then the French toast was also not prepared right, as it appeared as though the bread was not actually dipped in any kind of egg mixture before being quickly heated and syrup/sauce added. Extremely disappointing, especially since this was the main part of the dish. Cooks should be taken off the line and trained better, as 2 out of 2 dishes messed up today (and oth are obvious even when just looking at the plates) is right. Prices are too high to not have better attention to details. We.wont be going back, as lots of other olaces to try instead.​ read more

I love the farm feel decor here. This restaurant has high ceilings and feels very open and bright. They also have a counter seating area. It was crowded, but we were seated right away and the noise level was minimal. Our server, Kim, was very good and the food arrived quickly. My husband enjoyed his omelette and my salad was very good. I could've used maybe just a little bit more chicken on it. I love the dressing but would recommend getting it on the side as I did. It is warm and can wilt the lettuce a bit if you get it right on the salad. I always think of this restaurant as a breakfast place, but we went around lunchtime and it is nice that they have lunch options as well. read more

We were really looking forward to our breakfast at First Watch this morning--my husband, our 4-year-old son, and I finally had a rare morning off together and decided to make the drive out to one of our favorite spots. Unfortunately, our experience didn't quite meet expectations this time. Our server, Maxcine, seemed noticeably irritated from the start. When we asked a simple question about the orange juice sizes (which we order every time and love), she responded curtly and seemed annoyed. When she brought the drinks, she set them down quickly and walked away without a word. What made it more disappointing was seeing her warmly engage with the next table she seated--smiling, chatting, and clearly making them feel welcome. We couldn't help but feel like we were treated differently for no apparent reason. The food was still great, and we tried to enjoy our time as a family, but service like this definitely dampens the experience. We hope this was just an off day for Maxcine, but we wanted to share in case others have had similar encounters. read more

We ordered the Parma Skillet Hash, Traditional Breakfast, a Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl and side of Million Dollar Potatoes. The potatoes used in each of the dishes were mostly blacked hard pieces that were so extremely salty they were inedible. 75% of those had to be tossed out. The Pesto Chicken Quinoa bowl was decent, though the portion was so tiny I laughed when I first saw it. The eggs and bacon were okay. It's hard to believe any restaurant would let food like this go out the door. Our order was takeout. So perhaps that's how this location gets rid of old or bad food. Overall, shockingly bad when compared to Over Easy, Breakfast Joynt, Chompies, Snooze AM and others. Maybe it's better if you eat there. But I'll never know. read more

I noticed this place on our way to our hotel in Scottsdale and decided to have breakfast here the next morning. Nice location offering both in and outdoor seating. We were seated quickly by the friendly host in a quiet booth. They offer up some healthy options along with some breakfast favorites. I quickly noticed the advertised Purple Haze tea. I immediately thought of Jimi Hendrix and knew I had to try it! (Ha! Ha!) This was a butterfly pea flower tea with lavender, cane sugar and lemon. It looked and sounded so We decided on the Bacado omelet which features eggs, Monterey Jack cheese, and avocado with all natural sour cream and homemade pico de gallo. It is served with whole grain artisan toast, your choice of greens or fresh seasoned potatoes. It was so yummy and a great dish to share. The tea was delicious except a little too sweet. If I have it again, I would ask for less can sugar and lavender. My daughter enjoyed their avocado toast with eggs and the avocado was so fresh. Overall our breakfast was really good. I love First Watch so much and this location is great! Highlights: - Able to accommodate allergies and dietary preferences. Specifically gluten (my husband has Celiacs disease) and vegetarian (me) modifications. For example, they were willing to make the new Carnitas Burrito without pork or eggs for me. And it was so delicious and still filling! I've also had the Pesto Chicken Power Bowl here (equally as delicious) and they have substituted chicken for black beans and cooked the quinoa in water instead of chicken stock. - Download the app if you are a regular! I've used it numerous times to add us to the the waitlist on busy weekend mornings. I've also recently been using it to order takeout. You can re-order previous orders and save your credit card info to make it quick for a weekday morning. Every time I've done this my order is correct and packaged with care sitting on their table right next to the front door. It was good. Not great. You have to do something about the sewage smell right out your front door. Not appealing at all. Breakfast for 3 was $47.50. Not cheap. Not bad. I had the biscuits and gravy (turkey sausage) and had no complaints. Did get a side of bacon and it looking microwaved rather than grilled. Was lukewarm and chewy.
