Always consistently great food and service at First Watch. This location is no different. Tucker back in a strip mall with Crunch Fitness, parking can be a little tight as the gym demands a lot of spots and is just a few doors down, so you may have to walk a little...but it's worth it!

The Carne Asada hash on their summer menu was fantastic! The steak was very tender, and I loved that they actually made the potatoes crispy and cooked the shallots well. Yum! And they always have the nicest servers

The place was clean and nice the vibe was okay too and the service was good when they brought the food out the pancakes they was bigger then I thought and the food was good the only down side is the million dollar bacon was smaller then I thought and didn't taste like a million dollar bacon like that advertised.

We came today to celebrate Husband's birthday a month late. We were seated promptly since it wasn't busy. Our wait staff was pleasant and fast. Don't know her name as she did not introduce herself. I was thrilled to see no up charge on the gluten free toast. I try to limit the amount of gluten I have and this was perfect. Our food came fairly quickly. This was the first time I've been disappointed with my meal. I hate wasting food, so I made do with the room temperature bacon and eggs. The toast was not hot. The only thing streaming were the grits. Husband asked for his breakfast to be microwaved since nothing was warm. But our wait staff took his to remake it. They have no microwave. When it came back, he said it was hot and delicious. Next time, and we will return, I'm sending mine back if all of my meal is not cooked correctly.

We enjoyed our meal. Not a five star breakfast. Somewhat pricey for what you get.

Jerome's Cafe & Bakery - Almond croissant

Jerome's Cafe & Bakery

Stopped by Jerome's at the new location on McMullen Booth today around noon. As it was at the…read moreprevious location, the cafe and bakery is bright, clean and well staffed. In fact, the staff couldn't be nicer, and they were quite patient as I spent some time ogling the bakery case making my decisions. My selections were all sweets today. Blueberry croissant - a first for me and utterly delicious (couldn't wait to get home and had to have a bite in my car!). An almond and chocolate croissant - the gold standards. I topped off my order with the classically French tarte au pomme and a fresh berry tart with cream filling. Just divine, each and every one! Jerome's does not disappoint!

To call this French is an insult to France! I was born and…read moreraised in France, getting my bakery goods in the mornings from bakery down the street. The ambience was nice and so was service, but that's where the good things end. This was a disaster and shameful that it's called French. Serving croissants and eclairs and putting French names to menu items does not make something French. We ordered a turkey omelette with eggs on top, an eclair, a chocolate croissant, a croissant with ham and cheese and tomato and lettuce, and a cream filled beignet. Let's start with the bakery goods. All bakery goods should be made fresh that same morning. The croissants, and pastries all should be flaky and taste fresh. These were hard as if they were all yesterday's leftovers. The filling on the beignet was obviously a Jell-O pudding mix, and definitely not homemade. The eclair for some reason had some kind of supposed chantilly cream and raspberry instead of the traditional filling, and both of those fillings were also all store-bought. The eclair was also stale and tasted like it had been in the fridge since yesterday. The omelette was an absolute joke. If you look at the picture I posted, my index finger was actually taller than the entire omelette which is supposed to be filled with ham and cheese as you can see from the post photo. The ham and cheese were also packaged meat and cheese as you can tell since they all were sliced exactly in the same way and same size and tasted processed, and the cheese wasn't even melted completely. The omelette was just incredibly dry and bland. The croissant suffered from the same disease. It was hard, not flaky, and tasted stale as if it had been made yesterday, and all of the meat and cheese was obviously packaged meat and cheese which tasted processed. This tastes nothing like anything you would find at any French bakery in France. In France. Everything is made the same day, and the moment it starts going stale and stops being flaky, is thrown away. This is an absolute insult to French bakeries. Even if you compare it to other American bakeries and breakfast places, nothing tasted good and for that price, it should. Definitely avoid this place. I know I will.

Saigon Cafe did that for us, with its signage and location. Some may describe it as a hole in the wall type of place and I would not disagree. It's located in a nondescript strip mall, where road construction is all over the place. We took the chance and stopped in to check it out. The restaurant is clean and organized. The waiter and cook greeted us warmly. We were given menus and proceeded to review their offerings. Not much except basic Vietnamese and Korean fare. We decided on a tuna bahn mi sandwich and pho with brisket along with a shrimp and pork wrapped vegetable roll. Our expectations were minimal as we did not know what to expect. Surprise! The portions were large and the flavors were solid, not overwhelming. We were very happy. The service was attentive, polite and thorough. We had some nice conversations with our waiter and came away from the overall experience very satisfied. We will be back!

I asked the nice guy taking our order to pick between two dishes - he instantly said "Beef bibimbap!" and it was delicious: sizzling stone bowl, rice, tender bulgogi, colorful veggies, and that gooey egg. My husband got the loaded "Everything" banh mi on a crusty-yet-airy baguette, He also ordered the pork & shrimp summer rolls because he couldn't resist. Great decision - fresh, perfectly balanced rolls with generous homemade peanut sauce (actually enough of it!) and crushed peanuts on top. We're already planning our next visit.

Wife stuffed French toast with raspberries inside. Met a couple of ladies from Ohio. Recommended "bowl". Their second time in two days and ordered same both days. The added meat to the omelette were $1.50 each so, I thought that was reasonable. Extra sides of bacon were $6 each. Normal. Omelette and stuffed French toast were excellent. Waiters got tied up but no big deal. Home fries were not crispy, but good. The omelette came with horseradish mustard and salsa. Salsa was okay and ordinary. Horse mustard was fantastic. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered a Bellini and a combo with a Belgian waffle, eggs, and bacon. Paid $2 for a small jar of maple syrup. I don't understand why restaurants offer simple syrup for breakfast items, totally ruins a good pancake, waffle, or French toast. There's no substitute for maple, it elevates any dish and is easy to come by... I also love to see blueberry or blackberry as options. The waffle was delicious, I will certainly visit next time I'm in town, just for that!

The kind you'd take a photo of before you take a sip creamy, lightly sweetened, and made with love. But the real show-stoppers are the desserts.
