I love that we could put our names on the list before we left the house and check in when we got there and then just wait in the car until our table was ready. Kevin was a great server and very friendly. He brought our drinks quickly. He cleared the table quickly as well. The million dollar bacon was peppery and good. It was a longer wait just for a server to come to the table after we got seated. We even had to ask for a new coffee cup the one on the table was dirty still. Good food! Choices change each season. Fall flavors are my favorite! Pumpkin pancakes and Tangerine Dream were some of my favorites. Came on around 1pm on a Sunday, we did the get in line option online so once we checked in with the host, we were sat about in 15mins. This was nice since there did seem to be a longer wait without that option. Our server came quickly and got our drink orders and then inquired about our food order, eventually we ended up getting the trifecta, farmhouse hash and the morning meditation drink. Our food came out pretty quickly but I had to ask for the drink about 15 mins after getting the food. Everything was pretty good. The waffle was soo yummy, the flavor of it didn't require syrup at all. The avocado with the hash was turning brown in spots and the table for 2 is tooo small! We accidentally knocked off a few things and just ended up leaving a couple things on the floor. Our server was efficient but also seemed to be in a rush, maybe because it was close to closing time. Had Sunday brunch here. It was busy (and noisy) at 10:30ish, but I got on the wait-list and we were seated fairly quickly. Our server, Kevin, was great - greeted us quickly and got our coffees. I had the Honey Caramel Crunch Iced Coffee. This was my second one. The first I had a couple months ago and was really delicious. Today's was a little disappointing, as it mostly just tastes like honeyed cream. I had to add m girlfriend's hot coffee to it on order to get a coffee flavor (and some much needed caffeine!). For my entree, I ordered the Trifecta with a Belgian waffle, scrambled eggs, and pork sausage links. Everything was cooked well and tasted good. Overall, a delightful meal. read more

I met my mom and grandma for breakfast here this morning and have sort of a mixed review. Coffee was okay, little pricey for a First Watch, $3.50 for a cup of just "ok" coffee. My mom made the reservation when she picked my grandma up so when we got there, we got seated... super lucky. Staff was friendly. This is where it gets tricky... I ordered the farmhouse hash, my grandma had the eggs Benedict and so did my mom. We waited a really long time for the food and when it came to us finally we all had cold food. Mine was in a skillet and it was barely warm when I stuck my finger in the middle. We didn't say anything about it because it took long enough in the first place. I'm not saying I won't go back, but they definitely have some kinks to work out here. The menu is large and specials looked good, but it's a doozie when you never go out to breakfast and looking forward to it and it's cold. Hence my 3 star. read more

Way more than a decade ago I ate at the First Watch in midtown. It was meh and seemed more like a place for old people to get out of the house. However, in the last couple of months I have gone to a First Watch on the Kansas side and First Watch in Liberty and clearly things have changed for the better. First Watch Liberty is a modern, but comfortable breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. The menu has a lot of options. You can get your standard breakfast fare but they also have plenty of "chef-driven" twists to break you out of your culinary rut. I ordered the avocado toast and eggs and even though it sounds like nobody could mess that up, believe me, it can be messed up. The avocado mash here is very bright and lemony. I could actually do with a little less lemon, but it was still very good. The eggs were well executed. The coffee was drinkable. I couldn't ask for more. And yet... Trust me on this. Try the orange juice. Never in my life have I had orange juice this glorious. It tasted like they went out back and picked the oranges that morning. Nectar of the gods. read more

There is always a line anytime I drive by and when we eventually tried this place out, it was a 30 minute wait. So, when you sit down, you feel pressure by the waitress/waiter to hurry up and order. Also, post-covid or pre-covid, definitely not a fan of sitting down, reaching out; and being able to grab something off a stranger's plate. That's how close everyone is. Cage free eggs and various other items, so the breakfast is 'healthier' than say iHop; but this location leaves a lot to be desired if this is your first time at First Watch. read more

This place is amazing! There watermelon juice is great and so is there million dollar bacon is amazing. My favorite thing to get there though is there lemon ricotta pancakes. The ricotta adds a nice creaminess to the pancakes and the lemon curd adds a nice citrusy flavor to the pancakes. The waiters and waitresses are very respectful and friendly. And the restaurant has a great ambiance and when u walk u get see how beautiful looking the restaurant is. This is a great restaurant that I have to try at some point! read more

This location is always SUPER busy on the weekend, so if you know you're going ahead of time I highly recommend getting on the wait list online! It saves alot of time in regards to standing inside and crowding the FOH area, as they give you a time frame to show up so your wait time is typically only 10 minutes or so from said time. Last time we went in, we were a group of 5 and had been seated in a very cramped aisle area where one chair was in the aisle. We requested to be moved and the hostesses were super nice about it and had no issue moving us around! Our waitresses here have always been great every time, and they always have good service. The food is always a hit, no matter what I have ordered. Their seasonal menus always have something new and fun to try out if you're feeling adventurous! As for the alcoholic drinks, I highly recommend the cinnamon cereal milk coffee drink, but if you love bloody Mary's, I personally wouldn't bother with theirs. So, this morning I had to take my car downtown to have some work done on it, and like everything else in my life I always get hungry when my car's in the shop. So on the way home I knew I had to stop at the grocery store and as luck would have it there is a First Watch right next to the grocery store I shop at. So, going inside I sit down and order up a nice Cup of Joe and I'm noticing on their special menu they have a Pork Carnitas Burrito. MMMM life is about to get interesting! I placed the order and started sipping some coffee and it wasn't too long thereafter that they brought me this beautiful plate of food. They take some Pork carnitas, scramble a couple of eggs, toss in some fresh seasoned potatoes, black beans, Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, and fresh avocado. Wrap it in a grilled whole wheat tortilla, cover it all with tomatillo hollandaise and topped with lime crema, pico de gallo, house-pickled onions, fresh cilantro and Cotija cheese. We're not ready eat at a restaurant yet, but we picked up some food for carry out. This First Watch has two spots designated for carry out which was nice, because they're always busy. My husband ordered the Ham and Gruyere Melt with a cup of soup. He was pleased with his meal. I ordered the Sweet Honey Pecan Salad. It exceeded my expectations and the way they packed the food enhanced the salad. The dressing is warm with the chicken, bacon, and pecans mixed in and it was in a separate bowl. The table to our right was so close to us their little 1 yo, adorable btw, could easily grab things off our table. My husbands BnG was cold in the middle which I think speaks to how fast it came out to us, our potatoes were under cooked, my breakfast sandwich was sparse on ingredients and the bun was just your average cheap hamburger bun. Lastly, they also weren't cleaning under tables after guests were leaving. There was food and silverware on the floor people were stepping all over. I never leave reviews on restaurants mostly because I know how hard it is to work in one, but this place has really gone downhill since the last time I've been there. By the time we sat it was just over 1 hour, it was another 10 minutes before we got our coffee. At this point we had to leave there wouldn't be any time to eat.
