ELIJAH! BEST SERVER EVER! Hes so kind and so quick! He's so attentive and so helpful!

I always enjoy Chili's (KCMO/Liberty area) and wanted to compliment Eli's excellent service and attitude today! Hostesses seem genuinely friendly, great menu, great deals for lunch! Only negative is their music while dining - always obnoxiously loud imo. read more

I went to Chili's for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I had not been to this location for more than a year due to past experience with poor service and terrible food. As everything has, prices have gone up and what used to be three for $10 was now three for $15. I got the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas with endless chips and salsa and a soda. The chips and salsa were delicious. The quesadillas were actually full of chicken and enough that I took half home. I'm glad I tried them again. read more

The service was great. Server was prompt and great on timing. Food was also great. One of the better restaurants to get consistent food at.

Location : Liberty Barry road. Ambiance: family oriented. Food: i Usually dont post reviews of chain restaurants. But I have noticed that the freshness of the dishes, changes from restaurant to restaurant. Sorry Lawrence, this one in Liberty is way much better. Service: I noticed that many reviews mention the waiting time and the poor service. When we got there, yes, it took 10 min for somebody to show up to out table. But apparently there was a shift change and we fell through the cracks. I did notice the delay but was not a big deal. Derrick was our waiter. He explained the whole situation he apologized about the delay. 5 min after Jim, the manager also showed up to our table. He was also apologetic. He offered us a free dessert to make up for the delay. That was amazing. Not necesarilly the free dessert, but the service. Anybody can make a mistake but the way you react to them is what makes a difference. Yelp factor: Many bad reviews in the past about service. But that is the past. Now they have the besr service that you can get. They do care. If you go to Chilis, please go to this location and you'll get the best experience ever. Looking forward to go back to this place read more

Great food and service. I was meeting with a high school friends children to reminisce after the passing of their mother. We were there for three hours. Our server was kind and patient and never made us feel rushed to leave. The restaurant was clean and everyone was very friendly. read more

Fun upbeat atmosphere, seated quickly and the soon followed. Was able to pay on screen table making it easier to get to shopping elsewhere

We had a quick lunch here this weekend and enjoyed it, as always. Their 3 for $10 deal is great and we both got chips and salsa for one app, a salad for another, two sodas and 2 burgers with fries on one and asparagus on the other and everything was yummy. Our server was quick and friendly. I'm surprised at all of the negative reviews and low score here, as we come here often and always have good food and service for a decent price. Lots to choose from on the menu. read more

Came here tonight 10/27/2025 to relax and watch the KC Chiefs beat Washington ordered the salad, double cheeseburger & fries food was great UNTIL I noticed a LONG BLONDE/BLACK HAIR IN MY FOOD they wanted to remake it I refused they gave me a 4 $5 dollar coupons $20 dollars total, since my total bill was $18/19 I stated I should at least get $40 coupon your staff ruined my delicious meal I haven't ate all day I was starving I was inconvenienced & now I have to go to another restaurant or home hungry, spend time energy & gas to return in the near future! the male manager went back and fourth a few times until he finally decided to gave me 2 more $5 dollar coupons $10 more dollars so a total of $30 which he acted as if I we're inconveniencing him! He was very unprofessional & not understanding nor trying to compromise me but I definitely UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!! & I still tipped the waitress $10 even though they took care of the bill, as she did a wonderful job I can't remember her name. read more

Horrible, horrible service. Waited an hour to get our food (appetizers!). When we inquired about it, our waitress said that it was finished but they needed someone to assemble it. Had to ask for our bill and boxes twice. Sadly want be going back. read more

I ordered the triple dipper and when I tell you, the cheese pole was nonexistent, I feel like I got scammed. I want my money and the gas money. It took me to get here and the time I wasted for the food to come out and they didn't tell me the mini sliders had bacon in it. Also, just the wait time would not recommend #WasteOfMyLife. read more

We ordered the cheese sticks for an appetizer and it was brought out piping hot and they were huge we got 3 and they were the size of a deck of cards. We ordered the honey chipotle chicken strips served with corn and french fries and a spicy burger our food was brought out quickly and served hot. During our visit yesterday, I observed the drive thru order filler filling orders with her bare hands. Reaching in and out of the French fry pan filling someone's to go order. When I asked our waiter if this was standard practice he said no. He reported to management and stated this waitress has been previously spoken to about this issue. My question for management would be why she wasn't immediately sent home/ fired? They discarded the pan of fries and made a fresh one. But my concern is how many people have gotten sick from this waitresses actions? read more

Came in during Veteran's Day at night, there were no line, got seated right away and service was prompt and polite. Staff was attentive. Wanted to get chili and salad but they stopped serving chili since last year (hmmmm what a way to live up to the name lol). Anyways ended up getting a southwest chicken soup with house salad. It was a good, light and refreshing meal. They brought another glass of water when they saw I drank the first one like nothing lol. Great job Chili! read more

We have lived in liberty for nearly 20 years and have been coming to this restaurant for about 15 of those years. This was by far the worst experience to date. Our server was clearly overwhelmed with the 5 tables he had, two of which were bigger parties. To start off, it took about 10 minutes for our server to greet us for drinks. (I am a server at Buffalo Wild Wings, we are required to greet our tables within 45 seconds...so maybe my expectations were a little too high, but I haven't had to wait more than 3 or 4 minutes to be greeted at this location before) We were starving so we went ahead and put in our drinks , appetizers, and food right from the start. Again, maybe it was a lot of information at once but we didn't think it would be too hard...actually it's not. We didn't get our drinks and chips & salsa for another 25 minutes. (We had 2 margaritas and 3 waters) Our triple dipper came out with our main meals and incorrect. (we were literally missing the egg rolls so our server said he would check the order again and get them out to us as soon as possible.) My 6oz sirloin was overcooked and my half order of texas cheese fries were so overcooked the cheese was hard, crunchy, and honestly just not edible. My aunt needed lemons with her tea and didn't get them until the 4th time she asked, and we didn't get refills at all. She also had to ask the young hostess for napkins because we had none. We had to place 2 togo orders so we decided to do so halfway through our meal given the kitchen was already backed up. When it came time for the check our server split the check wrong, adding things to my aunts check that weren't hers. She explained to him that it was incorrect, he again, said he would figure it out and "i gotcha" (this was his favorite thing to say when in fact, he did NOT have us.) After about 10 minutes he came back to argue with my aunt saying that the ticket is correct and she told him that she will write down exactly what she had and what do you know, she ended up being correct after all. I finally spoke up and asked another hostess for a manager, when she came over I told her that the fries were awful, the service was terrible and that I don't expect a refund but i wanted to let her know how the restaurant has been running tonight. She did end up taking off my meal and fries, but for a total of $85 plus tip this service and food was beyond ridiculous and not worth it whatsoever. Oh, then i finally got my egg rolls. read more

we went here with a party of 8. 3 adults and 5 kids, u would've thought we had a party of 40. The receptionist started hyperventilating, then told us they couldn't do it. Then turned around and took 2 parties of 5. 5+5=10. We just left to prevent the tears. read more

The food was cold! Small portions and missing ingredients. Very pricey for what we got. The service was fine but we won't go back.

Refused service,Discriminated against because my daughter had triplets. We called 3 hours in advance and told them we had a party of 9 including 3 babies in carseats. They said no problem we can accommodate you. When we arrived we were told they couldn't accommodate us because of the babies. Would take up too much room. They ruined a 4 year olds birthday. We won't be going back. So We called 54th street grill and told them. They said sure come on over we can get you in. read more

Being coeliac I didn't have high expectations. I will say that the server was knowledgeable about where the QR code was for the 'menu' for gluten free items was located. There was not a lot of choices but I found the bone in wings to be gluten free and all the sauces. Atmosphere: loud and fun, college football games on the televisions. Prices: what you would expect. As I stated I am coeliac so didn't expect to have every meal catered to me, the surprise was the chips, salsa and queso. the chips were really crisp and delicious. read more

I couldn't check-in to this place on my phone because I was too far. What I meant by too far was the fact that it pointed to a location way down Route 152 when there's no Chili's at that particular location. Just to clarify about this location... it was next to Burger King and across from Steak N Shake. I can't remember the name of the street since I'm still new to the area (maybe NE Barry Road? N Church Road?). I would've corrected this address; however, the receipt only said "Liberty, MO" on it and that wasn't helpful. I'm almost positive that it wasn't in Liberty, MO... Anyways, I came here around 6pm after work and it was pretty empty. I was greeted by the hostess? (those people who greet and seat people) and she was really nice. I couldn't decide on a booth or a table initially but decided on the booth. lol The waitress came over and I ordered the Shiner Bock BBQ Burger ($7.79). I just wanted something simple. My food came after a few minutes and it was pretty good. I finished it pretty quick. My waitress was friendly and checked on me a couple of times. I'll come back to try other stuff and upload more pictures so that probably means I won't update this review unless I feel like I should. read more

It's been about 15 years since I set foot in a Chili's. Ever since they served me a raw buffalo chicken sandwich that gave me food poisoning and offered me a coupon for a free desert on my next visit as compensation. That was a different town, and a different restaurant, but things haven't improved much. We ordered and only made a couple modifications, asking for an extra side of BBQ sauce and some guacamole for our nachos. Neither came out. We told the waitress and she just left to start working the bar area. We told a manager in the kitchen and didn't hear anything for another 10 minutes. I was nearly ready to walk into the kitchen myself when the manager came out with the sauce & guacamole. By then we had 3 chips left on the nachos and had eaten most of the sandwich the BBQ sauce was for. Service was just terrible. Food was adequate (at least I didn't get sick this time), but overall the experience could've been a LOT better. read more

Friday night visit. Seated and enjoyed Tammy as server--cheerful, helpful, and listened well. Took order, kept drinks topped off, asked if we'd like refills on appetizer. Food came, steak was wrong steak, recognized it but had already set food on table, asked to be patient and returned to kitchen with correct food. We set other food aside as she stated she'd be right back. Manager arrived at table no less than 2 minutes after correct food at table. Female, never introduced herself, never explained she was the manager, huffed, rolled eyes at me, (it wasn't my plate that was incorrect), and then demanded incorrect plate and walked off without an explanation or discussion. The manager and her choices are why we won't return. It was a mistake and possibly a costly one for the restaurant but I can assure you the type of treatment offered by manager was one I will not forget. While I'm all for holding people responsible for their choices, there is room for humans to make a mistake. Also, her ire was misplaced on customers who had no idea what was going on and would have liked to have enjoyed our meal without the manager drama, disrespect of another human, and the process of elevating the experience rather than escalating the problem. Tammy-apply to another establishment that will help you grow as a server and employee. Manager--find a way to improve or your business will continue to suffer. read more

I'm personally not a huge fan of chili's. It's okay though! The service was terrible. We waited at the door for 5 minutes before the host showed up! We waited at the table for another 5 minutes before the server showed up as well. Right off the bat got a bad vibe from her. She wasn't very friendly or smiley and I like my servers to smile! As for the food and drinks though here we go!! We ordered the jack and Lemonade drink they have, we got two! They were amazing. We also got some cool blue drink that was tasty as well! We started off with some delicious cheese fries topped with green onion, bacon and spicy jalepenos with a side of fantastic home-made ranch! Then for the main course I got the Cajun Shrimp Pasta. It was full of flavors! Highly recommend if you like Cajun spice! We also got the honey bbq chicken Chrysler's over a tasty and sweet waffle. Probably the best chicken and waffles I have ever had no lie! The bbq sauce was a little spicy but paired with the sweet and fluffy waffle~ it was literally perfection. This chili's does have a more laid back type of vibe with dim lighting and metal chairs if you're into that. No patio which is a shame with this weather! read more

Worst customer service experience with any restaurant, ever. I had a poor experience and while attempting to report that to a manager, she got very rude, elevated her voice, and interrupted me. I told her I would be reporting my experience and asked for her name, and she said "go ahead" and when I asked for her name, she refused and hung up on me. I called back and asked for a manager, and the young lady said "which one?" I said the highest ranking one. She refused. Said that person was busy and would call me back. I asked for that person's name and she said she didn't know. When I asked her to clarify, she too hung up on me. I've never seen any people in the service industry so blatantly thumb their nose at customer service, and seemingly don't care at Chili's. This was the store in Kansas City, just west of Liberty on Church Rd. Never give them your money! read more

Okay last night's meal was so good I have to update my Yelp review. Every time I go to Chilis the only thing I ever order is the loaded boneless wings. Sometimes I get it and there's hardly any queso cheese and it's okay but last night there was actually more cheese than I could use! It was so delicious that I had to talk to the waiter and ask who the cook was but he said it was a team effort. Chili's, take note this is how loaded boneless wings is supposed to look. Plenty of cheese and plenty of chicken and then more cheese. This is a 10 out of 10 in my book and if it was made like this every time I would be eating here way more often. The service was great but this meal is so good I had to update my review read more

Chips and salsa are great, sitting here at 900 pm with a inattentive waiter is just crazy when there are 10 people in the restaurant

Didn't see the Yelp rating until we had already been seated. Should have checked first. Food was really bad. Haven't been to a chili's in years (used to be good) but the queso had no flavor, the chicken was tough and chewy and the grilled corn was soggy and had a bad flavor, definitely nothing near elote. My daughter got sick immediately after eating and threw up in the parking lot. Would NOT recommend! read more

This place is alright, they have some Mexican items but they do not do well with Mexican. They should just keep to the american things. They do have good chicken enchilada soup but I hate the Quesadillas! On the Border's are soooooo much better!!!! I would just go next door to On the Border for Mexican because you get free chips and salsa there and not at Chili's. You have to pay for chips and salsa there! So just go next door to OTB and get some chips that are nice and fresh and not thin that it breaks when you dip it in queso!! The salsa is made fresh everyday too! If you do not give out chips and salsa for free, THEN IT IS NOT A MEXICAN PLACE AND SHOULD NOT BE SERVING MEXICAN! read more

Terrible service! Too many young kids (workers) standing around talking instead of working. Ordered my steak medium and it came well done. Went in for lunch, nothing special it's just another chain restaurant. I ordered the California turkey club which came with bacon and avacotos. It was good but nothing to write home about. My coworker ordered the philly cheesesteak, he said the portion size was kind of small and I would have to agree, I've tried a number of cheesesteaks from these style of restaurants and have never been thrilled with them. He also ordered the chili and said that it tasted like chili you would put on hot dogs so I dont know if that's good or bad.
