Great menu and lots of options to pick from. What we ordered was tasty, but nothing that was wow worthy that would make us 'need' to visit again. Basic breakfast/brunch items. They have donut holes, but they were sold out by the time we got there. The sausage gravy and biscuits were good. The millionaire bacon was very much a fantastic choice. I would recommend that. The soup was good, as were the other dishes we had. You will have a good meal, but again nothing spectacular. They do not have a liquor license so no Bloody Mary's or Mimosas, etc. which isn't a dealbreaker, but just be aware in case you were planning on getting a cocktail. Join the waitlist option online before heading there! It is so convenient. Once you do that you then check in with the hostess. There wasn't an actual line and it was a little confusing since she was standing in the middle of the lobby area with an iPad. People came in the door and didn't realize that there were others waiting that were there before them. The lobby area is spacious so that was a great choice in design knowing there would most likely always be a wait due to their limited hours. Check their socials for time. If they didn't have the waitlist option online, it wouldn't be worth waiting 45min to an hour to be seated. Our server, greeter, hostess and the cashier were all very helpful and friendly. Very nice level of service all around. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu. The wait for food wasn't long at all. They itemize the bill by seat which made paying super convenient. Overall, pleasant meal and good service.

The food was delicious as always, I got the Chimichurri steak and eggs hash which is to die for, and my girlfriend got the trifecta. We ordered the pomegranate sunrises to complete our boozy brunch and they were delectable. Ours Servers name was Evan and he was very attentive, kind, and quick, we had our food and drinks with in 10 minutes of ordering, the atmosphere was welcoming and friendly and the decorations added to the overall ambience of the dining experience, will definitely come again!!

Today was my first experience at First Watch and while it wasn't horrible, it wasn't great either. The pros: you can add yourself to the waitlist ahead of time online. The biscuit was nice and flaky, and the turkey sausage gravy was well seasoned with a good consistency. The eggs were cooked to my liking. You can pay at your table by scanning a QR code on the receipt. The cons: our waitress wasn't very attentive. She walked by our table several times when my glass was empty and didn't offer a refill. She also got our orders wrong after we repeated them to her multiple times. She was getting confused so I'm not sure why she didn't write the orders down. The potatoes, while well seasoned, were way too big and undercooked. Overall I'd probably give them another shot, but this was just a mediocre first experience.

I was excited to try this place since it opened. When I arrived there was a 45 minute wait, unless you sat at the bar, so we did. Unfortunately they do not serve mimosas and bloody Mary's, which is a big reason people enjoy brunch. Regardless, it was still nice. They have pressed juices and teas and fancy iced coffees. Everything looks lovely, the food looked amazing as well. The waiter we had was so friendly and attentive for how busy it really way. I had the frittata with cheesy grits which was good! When you are done you either pay by a QR code on your phone or at the front. Which is different. But I did not feel the best after eating here so I don't know if I will be trying this place again.

Since it was a Thursday morning, I thought it would be the perfect time for a work meetup at the newly opened First Watch. Boy, was I wrong! The place was packed--apparently, I wasn't the only one with that idea, given the limited dining options in Bel Air. I put my name on the list and waited. The process was a bit chaotic, with people paying their tabs and others trying to get on the list, creating some confusion. While waiting, I noticed how the layout of the previous Red Lobster was changed to make the space appear more spacious! Despite the disorganization and the wait, the experience turned out to be worth it. The food was delicious! We started with the Kale Tonic and Morning Meditation juices, both of which were tasty. For our main dishes, we had the Tri-Fecta, Classic Benedict, and Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl. Our waitresses were sweethearts, and the food came out quickly. I especially appreciated the QR code on the receipt that made it easy to split the bill. Just remember to bring your appetite--and a bit of patience.

Good food but a little too noisy with the concrete flooring and high ceilings. It was hard to hear each other

Service is good and they are very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. Server very well acquainted with the menu and they even have specials off the menu. Menu doesn't have tons of choices, but makes sense when everything is prepared fresh and what is on the menu is done extremely well. First, drinks... yum! They have a terrific happy hour deal. That is worth a visit on its own. It's pretty spectacular and the drinks are great. The good news is you can get the HH without sitting at the bar. We had an Old Fashion, a Lemon Raspberry Martini, a Lemon Drop martini, a Sidecar, and a Carajillo. All were well made and delicious. The Carajillo was amazing - better than an espresso martini!! The food was wonderful. First course was the Baked Avocado, Cream of Crab soup, and the mussels which weren't on the regular menu as they were a special. The Avocado was fabulous and not too heavy. The mussels were in a delicious broth. Cream of crab was good but not worth the $21 a bowl (just average as you would get anywhere else). Second course was Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Crab, and House Made Pork Sausage Pappardelle. All were delicious and served with sides that elevated the flavors. The filet is a fav! The portions were a great dinner size and not overwhelmingly huge. We skipped dessert, but they were all great choices. We had previously had their s'mores which is a must try! They do have good coffee as well. Great location, intimate setting, nice people and a wonderful place to visit for a wonderful meal. Worth visiting. Be prepared as they are pricey (over $300 for 4 people). It's odd because their Happy Hour is just such a steal for the craft cocktails available (I guess gets you in the door). Perhaps sit at the bar for HH and just get drinks for a reasonable option. Maybe throw in a charcuterie board to snack on while enjoying the libations. For sure will be back.

They have a small menu, but sometimes that's nice not having to make so many decisions and usually that means the courses are quite good. I ordered the peartini, which was good but didn't have strong pear flavor. They brought out bread with our starters (3 pieces for 2 people - I never understand that!) which was tasty and my salad course was delicious. My husband really liked his soup too! For our entrees, he got the filet mignon which he said was excellent, but my shrimp and crab with gnocchi dish was disappointing. I think the sauce broke so it was swimming in oil. I tried to eat the pieces off the top and the shrimp were huge and gnocchi very soft and flavorful, but I couldn't get over the amount of oil. For dessert, he got the crème brûlée which he enjoyed and I got the s'mores. Mine was good, but the chocolate was very thick and heavy. I was hoping for a lighter mousse to end my meal instead. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our date night out, but I think the food is a bit inconsistent.

Tik Tok made me do it and I'm glad I did it!…read more My co-worker recently had been seeing some videos about the food at Newberry Cafe so of course we had to make a lunch time stop to see what everyone was talking about. Newberry reminds me of your hometown bakery where everyone gathers in the morning for their donuts and coffee before heading off to work. Very much like many of the shops in the Bel Air area. The employees are super nice at Newberry. Really taking their time to provide great customer service to each patron that strolls through the doors. Although it was lunch time we settled on breakfast sandwiches with homefries. And I of course had to grab a donut because it's a must, and a latte. The breakfast sandwich was just what you would want to start your day, a savory piece of meat and cheese on a soft bagel. But the star of the show was the homefries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. We both loved the potatoes. My glazed donut was divine, pillowy with just the right amount of glaze to not make the donut too sweet. The latte was a little to sweet for me, but I'm a little finicky with the sugar level in many caffeinated drinks. All the times I've ventured into Bel Air I never thought to stop at Newberry and I'm glad I finally did. I'll definitely be back to try more of their yummy donuts and breakfast sandwiches in the future.
