One round the marshal flagged us down on the very last hole and told us we couldn't finish And had to head back to the club house. I asked since you are not allowing me to finish what I paid for then do I get some money back and he replied "that's not how it works" our round was going on 3 hours which is pretty fast if you ask me but not fast enough for the marshals i guess. Play here at your own risk. Like I said, It used to be my favorite course in this area and I would play every weekend All summer and fall. They lost a loyal customer.

The entire round I was waiting behind a group who took approximately 6.7 hours to play 18 holes. We had to leave early because my friend had work. Bear in mind, we started at 11 and had to leave at 5. Also I was -3 at that time. The condition this course was in was utterly laughable, and I wouldn't wish playing this course on my worst enemy. Staff is very rude, the bartender was very nice but the man at the pro shop was supposed to charge…read moremy boyfriend for 18 holes and a rider (I was going to play but just decided to ride along) he ended up only charging for the 18 holes and not a rider so as we're hitting off at hole 1 the Marshall drives up and says we needed to pay for a driver so we turned around went back to the clubhouse and he ended up charging us all over again for another 18 holes and rider when I was not playing so when we got done with hole 9 and got back to the clubhouse I stopped in to ask why I was charged again for golf if I'm not playing the women now who was in the pro shop I explained what happened and she agreed to refund the money back but then proceeded to tell me next time I came there I would need to put on a tshirt over my golf dress, I asked her why this was and she said they don't allow my kind of dressing at their establishment which I was literally wearing a golf dress? I found this very rude as it was 95 degrees out and I'm wearing a dress outside. Would not recommend this golf course acorns is hands down the best course in Waterloo il!

Later, we moved into the main dining room, which was just the right size for about one-hundred guests, with an adjacent long and narrow room - I think it was a solarium, but my memory is unclear because it was night - for dancing. I can't speak to the golf opportunities here, but, from what I could see of the course, it was slightly rolling with well-developed trees.

Went to X-Golf yesterday to see what the venue was all about. I am planning a customer event there…read morein April and thought I'd get a preview. First, the staff couldn't be more helpful. Michelle has been my point of contact for our upcoming event and has been extremely helpful as well as fast to respond. On our visit yesterday Tony gave us the white glove treatment...friendly, helpful, showed us the entire place and regularly checked on us during our virtual round. The bar is more than I expected with plenty of beer and drink selections. We didn't have food but the menu seems to have enough options to fill the need. Both Michelle and Tony had suggestions if I wanted something more extensive catered in for our event. Again both super helpful. The simulator experience was a lot of fun. I am an average golfer as is my buddy and we got through 18 in about 90 minutes. The simulator options seem to be everything you need...practice tee and greens, plenty of game options and loads of courses to play. Two suggestions...practice putting on the simulator before you start a virtual round. It took a while to get the hang of putting. Second I didn't download the X-Golf app in advance. I think you can get access to all your stats if you do and sign into the simulator with your user name. Overall very enjoyable venue, super nice staff...and I didn't lose a single ball! Will definitely be back before our event as well as after.

In light traffic, Bellerive is located about 20-30 minutes west of the city of St. Louis and only 15-20 minutes southwest of the airport. This is a private club that was established in 1897. The current golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1960. Since then, the club has hosted three majors: the 1965 US Open, the 74th PGA Championship in 1992, and the 100th PGA Championship in 2018. It's also hosted two senior majors, the 2004 US Senior Open and the 2013 Senior PGA Championship, as well as the 2008 BMW Championship, the second-to-last tournament of the FedExCup Playoffs. Brooks Koepka (-16) won the 2018 PGA Championship by two strokes over Tiger Woods (-14) who finished in sole possession of 2nd place. On Sunday, Tiger shot the best score of his career in the final round of a major (64). Unfortunately, it was too little, too late against a dominant force like Koepka who refused to give up the lead. It was very exciting to watch, especially at the time. Tiger was getting closer and closer to winning his 15th major, his first in what would have been 10 years. Bellerive Country Club did a great job getting the grounds ready for the best golfers in the world including the legendary Tiger Woods on a comeback trail. Despite rain and typical summer weather in the Midwest, St Louis fans came out in huge numbers to support this awesome event. All of the players, including Tiger... said St. Louis was the best crowd they ever played for. Thank Bellerive Country Club for being gracious hosts and the PGA for bringing the 100th Championship to STL!
