I found this very rude as it was 95 degrees out and I'm wearing a dress outside. Would not recommend this golf course acorns is hands down the best course in Waterloo il!

One round the marshal flagged us down on the very last hole and told us we couldn't finish And had to head back to the club house. I asked since you are not allowing me to finish what I paid for then do I get some money back and he replied "that's not how it works" our round was going on 3 hours which is pretty fast if you ask me but not fast enough for the marshals i guess. Play here at your own risk. Like I said, It used to be my favorite course in this area and I would play every weekend All summer and fall. They lost a loyal customer.

The entire round I was waiting behind a group who took approximately 6.7 hours to play 18 holes. We had to leave early because my friend had work. Bear in mind, we started at 11 and had to leave at 5. Also I was -3 at that time. The condition this course was in was utterly laughable, and I wouldn't wish playing this course on my worst enemy. If you wanna have a terrible golfing experience go to sugar creek.

My friends and I visited WOW last week on a Friday afternoon, and we were honestly surprised by how…read moremuch fun we had. We mainly went to try the curling, and when we got there, the ladies at the front desk were super helpful in explaining pricing and which games were available. Since we just wanted to curl, we paid $25 for an hour for the three of us (and up to 8 people can play, which is nice). After that, they got us set up at the table and gave a quick explanation of how it works. We read through the instructions and just jumped in, it ended up being really fun. We picked up the rules pretty quickly and played a few games. At some point, we decided to grab drinks and snacks, so I ordered at the bar and told them we were at the curling table. I didn't expect them to bring the food out to us, but they did, which was a really nice touch. The apps we ordered were really good. We got the fried zucchini fries and the pretzels. Honestly, the zucchini fries were my favorite, I'd even go back just for those. The pretzels were okay, but I couldn't quite figure out the flavor of the dough. It was different...not bad, just unique. After we finished curling, we packed everything up and returned it to the counter, then walked around to check out the rest of the place. The bowling looked fun, and we'll probably come back to try that. The outdoor mini golf is new and has a cool western theme. It started raining while we were out there, but that didn't stop some people from playing! The mini golf setup is kind of self-serve; you load the game onto a card, then go to a machine to get your ball and putter (I think that's what it's called?). I can see that being really popular this summer, and we're already talking about going back soon. Overall, it's a really fun spot with a lot to do. I'd definitely go back, but probably later in the evening when there are fewer kids around. We wanted to try the VR area too, but it was packed with kids and a long wait, so we skipped it this time. Still, I'd like to check it out next time.
