Completely ruined it after it took me a year to get it back from California. I had to pay to overnight it back to Cali and get it redone again. Then they put tape on the other big C molding when we set the glass on the car while I waited for the other to get shipped back to me. When I went to pull the tape off it pulled all the clear off the molding. So again I had to pay to ship the other side back to Cali then wait for it to get done. So now it's 70 days later I finally got everything back and he won't return my calls or texts because he knows he messed my stuff up. So I had to pay a wasted $500 on shipping for his screw up. That's 2 boxes overnighted there and 1 box 2 day air back to me. Just a warning to anyone thinking about using them. Use a professional company that has insurance or something.

Not only did it allow me to get the service completed on the same day I'd originally been promised by Safelite, but it allowed me to experience the fantastic, customer-centric service provided by Keffer, and it saved me $170 vs Safelite's price quote. The service, the savings, the timing, the total value! Completely happy with this experience!

My appointment was for between 12-3, but received a call this morning they could come earlier. Shortly after arriving and setting up, Carlos arrived to help the tech ( sorry! wish I could remember your name! ) Both introduced themselves and extremely nice and professional. When complete let me know to give it an hour for the resin to set before driving. Also explained the excellent guarantee. When it comes to trying to find mechanics, repairmen , etc.... and windshield replacements online, you just never really know what you are getting. I am sooo happy I found them. HIGHLY recommend!! After five months at this company and three attempts resulting in broken windshields, I was required to go to Camping World to check for a structural issue. Nothing was found on the inspection, but I did get the phone number for Baker Glass. I spoke with Wade, who came to my house to inspect my RV. He saw no structural reason for the windshields to break, and proceeded to order the correct glass and gasket. I picked up my RV last Monday and I could not be more pleased. Wade did a fantastic job before, during the install and after when I talked with him about the job. An insurance company should always use the most competent company for the job. Customer service, before and after the job, plus being the most competent installer I have ever dealt with in 35 years of rving, is Baker Glass. Wade will definitely get all of my glass business in the future.

My auto insurance outsources glass claims administration to a nationwide company that also provides…read moremobile repair/replace services. They offer their services as the default. Yet, one can have an independent company do the work on request if one knows to ask/inform insurance of preference. Despite the lure of 'convenience' offered by the nationwide company, DC Automotive Glass replacement at the dealership is my go-to choice. Here's why: Office manager Renee is top-notch working with insurance companies and providing timely customer updates. She advocates for OEM replacement coverage with claims management when appropriate (e.g. newer/leases). The customer is the focus (not the profit margin or claim close speed rate of the administrative third party) and parts and labor prices are reasonable/competitive. Vehicles with advanced safety features require calibration which is most reliably performed by the dealership. Audis can be particularly tricky. Jeremy & Joshua work collaboratively with my dealer for post-replacement calibration and they with my service advisor collectively don't send me on the road with a suboptimal calibration comprising safety and requiring the time drain of a return visit for error code re-work. I've used them 3-4 times and will do so again when needed. They do good work.

Unfortunately my drivers window was busted. That scared the living daylight out of me, sounded just like a gun shot. I would have been mad, but he wasn't throwing it towards the road. It was just a freak accident. Anyway I couldn't remember the company's nor Jeremy's name. I had to do a lot of research to locate the company. I am going to have to go all weekend with no window because I see they don't work on the weekends. That is how much Jeremy impressed me. With his attitude, professionalism and workmanship. I would not use anyone else.

When A-1 Auto Glass first installed my windshield, the molding around it was damaged during the install. The installer told me it was "dry rotted" and even went so far as to tell me where I could buy a replacement and how much it would cost. When I pushed back, the owner confirmed what the installer said but eventually agreed they would replace the molding. Around that same time, I began noticing significant wind noise while driving. When a different tech came back out to address the wind noise and put in the new molding, he immediately noticed the windshield itself hadn't been installed properly. He told me, "We'll get you a new glass." But when the next appointment came, I didn't get new glass at all. Instead, they just repositioned the old windshield and installed the molding. That work left me with paint chips right at the edge of the windshield--damage I know was not there before. I take good care of my car, and I even have photos from after the first installation that show those spots were not there. When I pointed out the damage in person, the tech flat-out denied it, saying, "That was already there, you can see the rust." Later, when I texted him, he admitted they had removed the windshield using string, but when I asked what they used to remove the urethane, he never replied. I also reached out to the owner twice and received no response at all. At the end of the day, I'm left with damage that didn't exist before their work and no accountability from the company. My car was not in this condition when I brought it in, and I'm now left holding the bag to fix their mistakes. I cannot recommend A-1 Auto glass.
