Our little one arrived a year ago struggling with behavioral issues, biting, patience, temper... you know, terrible twos continued to terrible threes. We were just struggling to find a place that would help us help her- and that (and more) is what we found at Kinderoo. This team, Miss Marta, Miss M, I can't even begin to name all of them because it REALLY was a team effort; thank you to the entire staff of Kinderoo who poured their hearts into our little one until there was no space for anger, or aggression. They have been patient beyond all reason, and worked with her directly and helped us extend that home. She's a year older and we have made the very difficult decision to transition to a school closer to home- but we are so so grateful for the compassionate care, and emotional intelligence our little one learned while at Kinderoo. If you are looking for a quiet, reassuring, personal development space for your little one, my husband and I are so grateful, and so happy with the support of the Kinderoo family. Highly recommend.

The cameras in classrooms do not record. My son can be a lil hard to deal with sometimes but no Teacher should be rough enough to make a child bleed. He went there for 4 years and never had any other serious problems. My best friend's son also complained that the same teacher pinched him and he is far from a problem child. My overall experience has been immensely pleasing. I feel that all of the capstone's staff truly cares about every student and takes time to learn what's best for them and customizes their learning experience. Capstone in addition has great leadership, Mr. D and Mrs Zandra often create activities to establish community gatherings. For example, not too long ago the new mayor of Ocala visited capstone academy and shook my daughter' s hand an experience my daughter would not have been able to have if it wasn't for capstone. I also want to give a special thanks to my daughter's teacher, Miss Della in almost a year, my daughter has educationally improved by leaps and bounds. She takes time not only make sure my daughter is understanding the lesson, but also retaining the information ,this is huge plus in my book. She is truly an amazing teacher! He has his days where he gets a little sad due to his fathers tragic death last year and I called multiple tines about the grief counselor they promised when I enrolled him, I even called the women Well Not once did he see her. But that is not the problem .They made no progress with him this year in IEP grades went down even though he was and has been in IEP in kindergarten and recently first grade. They failed him When they could of done so much more. Us as parents can only do/teach/read/discipline him so much while also going threw grief. Asked multiple times what other options are out there to get him tested and also if he could get more one on one. I have not got any help thus far . They do not do many field trips or cool projects to bring home. Other then that The school is overall well staffed and keeps parents informed of tardy or of course anything that has to do with the kids making money.
