So question your kids and listen to them if they go here. Scars in the photo have me concerned she had abused my child before. Please just be aware.

Today was a bittersweet last day for our 3 Year Old from Kinderoo Academy which I would HIGHLY…read morerecommend to anyone who has a child that needs a quiet, safe, and supportive place to develop. Our little one arrived a year ago struggling with behavioral issues, biting, patience, temper... you know, terrible twos continued to terrible threes. We were just struggling to find a place that would help us help her- and that (and more) is what we found at Kinderoo. This team, Miss Marta, Miss M, I can't even begin to name all of them because it REALLY was a team effort; thank you to the entire staff of Kinderoo who poured their hearts into our little one until there was no space for anger, or aggression. They have been patient beyond all reason, and worked with her directly and helped us extend that home. She's a year older and we have made the very difficult decision to transition to a school closer to home- but we are so so grateful for the compassionate care, and emotional intelligence our little one learned while at Kinderoo. If you are looking for a quiet, reassuring, personal development space for your little one, my husband and I are so grateful, and so happy with the support of the Kinderoo family. Highly recommend.

He has his days where he gets a little sad due to his fathers tragic death last year and I called multiple tines about the grief counselor they promised when I enrolled him, I even called the women Well Not once did he see her. But that is not the problem .They made no progress with him this year in IEP grades went down even though he was and has been in IEP in kindergarten and recently first grade. They failed him When they could of done so much more. Us as parents can only do/teach/read/discipline him so much while also going threw grief. Asked multiple times what other options are out there to get him tested and also if he could get more one on one. I have not got any help thus far . They do not do many field trips or cool projects to bring home. Other then that The school is overall well staffed and keeps parents informed of tardy or of course anything that has to do with the kids making money.

This daycare has been nothing short of amazing to the care they have provided to my child over the course of 3+ years. yes they have their flaws, but what daycare doesn't? when my daughter was much younger she was sent home over the course of a few days with diaper rash and dried boogers on her nose but what daycare hasn't had this happen? they do try their best and the ones that don't or haven't are luckily no longer employed with them hence why some parents have had bad experiences when it comes to the care their child received. their turnover is bad yes, but I've heard that it is because of how the company treats their employees or maybe it's also because of the employees consistently neglecting the children. it can be various things as to why their turnover is bad but the staff and director they have now are FABULOUS! and my daughter always comes home talking about the great day that she had and always looks forward to the next and to me that is all that matters is that my child comes home happy!

Paulene (the director) and all the women who teach the children, not only give them an excellent start in education with a challenging curriculum, but also teaches them life and social skills. Our son went to Montessori Prep, when he was younger, now he's 18 and graduating with honors, and going to attend Law School at UF. I give much credit to Montessori, helping him to develop good academic habits, and being in a loving environment, that let him be free to create and be himself. Our daughter's Standford testing results are in the middle and high school levels, and she's in 5th grade. Montessori teaches them be confident in who they are, and I know in my heart, any of the teachers would protect my child with their life and being a mom, the peace of mind I have when I drop her off everyday knowing that she is safe, is priceless. I am truly going to miss this school, when our daughter goes to 6th grade. I want to thank Paulene, Angel, Sandy, Gurpreet, Marisol, Suzette, Ingrid, Madi, Rosario, Amallia, Patricia and all the others who have treated my children as their own. I am forever grateful to all of you. Danielle Comas Parent at Montessori Prep School of Ocala
