As educators, my husband and I were both sold on the Montessori Method as optimal for developing brains, and after a tour of MHO and a meeting with Ms. Jill, the director, we decided to enroll our son. Over the next few years, our son continuously amazed us with his personal and academic growth. He became a fountain of knowledge on the natural sciences, books and practical living skills, and he participated in three separate theatrical productions as well as music concerts. We were most impressed; however, with by his social development, by his kind and compassionate approach to his peers, and by his ability to engage cooperatively with others. MHO challenged him and nurtured him at the pace he required. We recently left MHO due to a move out of town, and while we were very sad for Our son to leave MHO, we are pleased to report he has transitioned beautifully into his new school. We are certain this is due to the strong foundation provided to him at Montessori House of Ocala, and for that we will always be grateful.

He went there for 4 years and never had any other serious problems. My best friend's son also complained that the same teacher pinched him and he is far from a problem child. My overall experience has been immensely pleasing. I feel that all of the capstone's staff truly cares about every student and takes time to learn what's best for them and customizes their learning experience. Capstone in addition has great leadership, Mr. D and Mrs Zandra often create activities to establish community gatherings. For example, not too long ago the new mayor of Ocala visited capstone academy and shook my daughter' s hand an experience my daughter would not have been able to have if it wasn't for capstone. I also want to give a special thanks to my daughter's teacher, Miss Della in almost a year, my daughter has educationally improved by leaps and bounds. She takes time not only make sure my daughter is understanding the lesson, but also retaining the information ,this is huge plus in my book. She is truly an amazing teacher! This daycare is different ! I would never trust another daycare but this one for my daughter , she loves school , doesn't go in crying , I have camera access to watch her all day , I don't walk in and hear teachers yelling at kids , she has healthy food for breakfast , lunch and snack that are actual portions to make her full. All of the staff have been amazing from day one ! If you're looking for a safe daycare I would recommend them any day.

They are the most caring and down to earth people that you will meet. They truly have a passion for children and treat every child like their own. The principal was consistently unpleasant and unapproachable, making communication very uncomfortable for both parents and students. What's even more concerning is that I've heard countless similar stories from other families who've dealt with the same treatment including being spoken to rudely or unfairly judged. It's unfortunate, because the school itself could have great potential, but leadership sets the tone and in this case, it's been far from positive. I truly hope the administration takes these ongoing concerns seriously and makes meaningful changes for the sake of the children and their families.

This is a terrible daycare that allows the teachers to put their hands on your child. After being…read moretold I could review the cameras to see the incident of how my child got a bruise on his arm in the shape of a hand, they call and leave a voicemail stating my son may not return before the meeting that was suppose to take place so I could review the cameras? This is suppose to be a Christian atmosphere that loves children but because my 5yr old child told me what happen and I took action for the safety of my child as a parent should, he has to leave? This is very upsetting and I am disappointed the pastor is allowing this. I do not recommend this daycare at all. What's done in the dark will always come to light.
