The principal was consistently unpleasant and unapproachable, making communication very uncomfortable for both parents and students. What's even more concerning is that I've heard countless similar stories from other families who've dealt with the same treatment including being spoken to rudely or unfairly judged. It's unfortunate, because the school itself could have great potential, but leadership sets the tone and in this case, it's been far from positive. I truly hope the administration takes these ongoing concerns seriously and makes meaningful changes for the sake of the children and their families.

"Well, I can kick your daughter out of school right now & we'll have nothing left to argue about- how's that sound?". Nice that the man in charge of making sure children don't suffer from bullies, is himself, a bully. *smh*

My overall experience has been immensely pleasing. I feel that all of the capstone's staff truly cares about every student and takes time to learn what's best for them and customizes their learning experience. Capstone in addition has great leadership, Mr. D and Mrs Zandra often create activities to establish community gatherings. For example, not too long ago the new mayor of Ocala visited capstone academy and shook my daughter' s hand an experience my daughter would not have been able to have if it wasn't for capstone. I also want to give a special thanks to my daughter's teacher, Miss Della in almost a year, my daughter has educationally improved by leaps and bounds. She takes time not only make sure my daughter is understanding the lesson, but also retaining the information ,this is huge plus in my book. She is truly an amazing teacher! I noticed on a weekly basis my daughter is learning something new and I am very happy to see that. In addition to that, I will also like to thank Miss Jeanny and Miss Martha my two-year-old wakes up every morning excited to go to school and learn from you. Thank you all at capstone you are truly appreciated in what you do.

This daycare is different ! I would never trust another daycare but this one for my daughter , she loves school , doesn't go in crying , I have camera access to watch her all day , I don't walk in and hear teachers yelling at kids , she has healthy food for breakfast , lunch and snack that are actual portions to make her full. All of the staff have been amazing from day one ! If you're looking for a safe daycare I would recommend them any day.

Paulene (the director) and all the women who teach the children, not only give them an excellent start in education with a challenging curriculum, but also teaches them life and social skills. Our son went to Montessori Prep, when he was younger, now he's 18 and graduating with honors, and going to attend Law School at UF. I give much credit to Montessori, helping him to develop good academic habits, and being in a loving environment, that let him be free to create and be himself. Our daughter's Standford testing results are in the middle and high school levels, and she's in 5th grade. Montessori teaches them be confident in who they are, and I know in my heart, any of the teachers would protect my child with their life and being a mom, the peace of mind I have when I drop her off everyday knowing that she is safe, is priceless. I am truly going to miss this school, when our daughter goes to 6th grade. I want to thank Paulene, Angel, Sandy, Gurpreet, Marisol, Suzette, Ingrid, Madi, Rosario, Amallia, Patricia and all the others who have treated my children as their own. I am forever grateful to all of you. Danielle Comas Parent at Montessori Prep School of Ocala

As educators, my husband and I were both sold on the Montessori Method as optimal for developing brains, and after a tour of MHO and a meeting with Ms. Jill, the director, we decided to enroll our son. Over the next few years, our son continuously amazed us with his personal and academic growth. He became a fountain of knowledge on the natural sciences, books and practical living skills, and he participated in three separate theatrical productions as well as music concerts. We were most impressed; however, with by his social development, by his kind and compassionate approach to his peers, and by his ability to engage cooperatively with others. MHO challenged him and nurtured him at the pace he required. We recently left MHO due to a move out of town, and while we were very sad for Our son to leave MHO, we are pleased to report he has transitioned beautifully into his new school. We are certain this is due to the strong foundation provided to him at Montessori House of Ocala, and for that we will always be grateful.

Our little one arrived a year ago struggling with behavioral issues, biting, patience, temper... you know, terrible twos continued to terrible threes. We were just struggling to find a place that would help us help her- and that (and more) is what we found at Kinderoo. This team, Miss Marta, Miss M, I can't even begin to name all of them because it REALLY was a team effort; thank you to the entire staff of Kinderoo who poured their hearts into our little one until there was no space for anger, or aggression. They have been patient beyond all reason, and worked with her directly and helped us extend that home. She's a year older and we have made the very difficult decision to transition to a school closer to home- but we are so so grateful for the compassionate care, and emotional intelligence our little one learned while at Kinderoo. If you are looking for a quiet, reassuring, personal development space for your little one, my husband and I are so grateful, and so happy with the support of the Kinderoo family. Highly recommend.
