I even heard that one of the physicians went out and shoveled for patients when the snow removal service hadn't finished their job!

Only a nurse case manager who was not very helpful with very poor manners. My MIL is elderly with TTWB and they are sending her home. The OT said she needed assisted living but never came to the room to discuss recs with family. My husband had to ask for education and training before discharge. She should NOT BE going home. Sadly I will never recommend this facility to anyone. I'm glad I work for Froedtert! Do better RHOW.

The Nurse said the Doctor would meet and give us a review of my family members condition before they discharged them. But the Doctor could not be bothered and just ignored us. The issues and lack of care kept mounting daily. They left our family member to sit in their own urine for four hours and wouldn't check them. UNLESS WE ASKED!! We had to stay with our family member 9 hours a day to make sure care was being given. They say they care but could not deliver! Then they send out a standard response asking to be contacted, so they can get the post removed. But when things where happening and we brought up the concerns. They met with us said they take these things seriously but then brushed off our concerns not following up at the time or even a few days later while our family member was still there.

I've now had a couple procedures at the surgery center at Froedtert, Sergeant Health…read more There are distinct advantages to having something done here, rather than at a main hospital location. First, parking is close and easy. Usually you can stay very close to the door. Second, the facility is small and check-in is fast and friendly and the waiting area is immediately accessible. They have a coffee machine, a table or two and standard chairs and couches for family and patients. There's also a TV and a monitor which tracks patient progress through their procedure for any waiting family or friends not inside with the patient. The interior waiting areas for patients having a procedure are standard hospital bays, with no doors, curtain access, but a recliner chair for companions or family members where they can stay throughout if they prefer. The privacy is perhaps minimal, but the access for the care time is easy and open. Every team member I've encountered here has been great - friendly, comforting, and this is important, they all seem to make a personal connection - even if it's small, that makes you feel seen as an individual. Happily, the surgical teams have also done great work on my visits. I am definitely loyal to this system Great care. Made comfortable,

The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues. Once you are in the proper parking structure, it's a quick ride up to the 5th floor. Get off the elevator and go east. There is nice signage that will get you where you need to go. Good luck with your treatment :)

First of all, one doesn't just walk in off the street and join in, we have to be referred by a physician. Our cardiologist sent us here after a procedure a few weeks ago. After an orientation, we were shown the gym, equipped with modern equipment, free weights, isometric ribbons and other tools. Machines range from low impact cross-trainers to weight machines. There are several treadmills and a 132 foot walking track. (That means 40 laps makes a mile.) Each of us is fitted with a telemetry unit that monitors our heart rates in a central location. Each patient's weight, blood pressure, oxygenation and heart rates are closely monitored throughout the session. Cleanliness is job one, we all wash our hands several times during a session. We wipe down all equipment with sanitation sheets when we complete our reps. There are locker rooms and a shower. Most of us carry in exercise clothes and shoes to take advantage of the locker room. The staff is professional and they all obviously enjoy their work. They are sincerely dedicated to our health and our hearts' rehabilitation. There is also a level of camaraderie here because everyone is here for the same reason. As the song from "Damn Yankees" says, "Ya Gotta Have Heart!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ry8CpIg2fvU
