I have to take a moment and give full credit to my surgeon Dr. Joseph Regan and his assistant Sue Dugan for the excellent, proactive care I received. My health situation was life-threatening and they could not possibly have been stronger advocates for me. When a test was complete Dr. Regan had me wait in his clinic while he reviewed the results and determined next steps. He and Sue always accommodated me in his office very responsively. My surgery was very involved and complicated. It took almost 3 times the scheduled length of time to complete. Recovery was brutal, hospitalized 5 days taking nothing by mouth and pain meds administered by injection. I was not a patient person in this situation and for the most part staff who cared for me were extremely compassionate. At an earlier visit, I found the discharge process to be extremely slow, and under Dr. Regan's care this was not the case. It was much more pleasant. I had to return to CSM a few times in the following weeks because I suffered setbacks. Again, staff were very responsive to my concerns and helped me successfully manage them. I am grateful to Dr. Regan, Sue Dugan and the rest of the staff at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital. They saved my life!

Now, I've worked in the fitness industry for years, so I walked in thinking I had a pretty good handle on things. I was wrong. So wrong. These sessions will humble you in the best way possible. You'll work muscles you forgot existed, uncover weak spots you didn't know were weak, and come out feeling like a better, bendier, more aware version of yourself.
