I have been dining at the Milwaukee Catholic Home on and off for over three years…read more Today, my sister, father and I all met up for lunch and had an amazing experience. It started off with a cup of vegetable soup that, with the addition of just the right amount of crumbled up Ritz crackers, warmed my soul to the core. Next came a deliciously prepared grilled baloney sandwich with melted cheese on a toasted brioche bun. This sandwich took me back to my youth, much the way Ego was transported when he ate the ratatouille dish created by Rene in the movie. The masterpiece was made even more amazing by perfectly seasoned, fried shoestring potatoes. The climax to the meal was a masterful rendition of cake and ice cream presented in the form of a heavenly piece of devil's food chocolate cake topped with the creamiest of peanut butter frosting that would make a Reese's peanut butter cup weep. All of this was paired with a scoop of spumoni. An amalgamation of the most delicious chocolate, pistachio and cherry ice cream. The likes of which I have never experienced before. This experience would not have been possible had it not been for the flawless execution of our guide, Sherry, through this culinary excursion

Kinetic MKE - Doing physical therapy mixed in with Pilates with Garrett.

I stopped by yesterday for a double-header: a Pilates session with Master Instructor Trey Fry (yes,…read moremaster--like a Pilates Jedi), followed by a session with Physical Therapist Garrett, who somehow managed to find muscles I didn't even know I owned. Today, I came back for more with a killer session led by Sam, who is as delightful as they are deceptively good at making your core question its life choices. Let's talk ambience: this place is stunning. It's housed in a historical building that looks like it's been standing strong since Mozart was in diapers--and honestly, the vibes are just as majestic. The space is bright, airy, and laid out so beautifully it could be featured in an architectural magazine titled "Places That Make You Want to Exercise." Now, I've worked in the fitness industry for years, so I walked in thinking I had a pretty good handle on things. I was wrong. So wrong. These sessions will humble you in the best way possible. You'll work muscles you forgot existed, uncover weak spots you didn't know were weak, and come out feeling like a better, bendier, more aware version of yourself. That's excellent so that you can improve yourself. =] The staff? Brilliant. Warm, hilarious, and so good at what they do. They somehow manage to make intense workouts feel like a party--if parties involved shaking legs and the sudden realization that your glutes have been freeloading for years. Whether you're a teenager, a marathon runner, a retired teacher, or an Olympic hopeful, this place meets you where you're at and takes you further. But fair warning: they will make you work. And you'll thank them for it. Eventually. Highly recommend. Five stars, 12/10, would glute-burn again. [Review 729] - 2nd Review for 2025!

I came here for the first time with the Milwaukee Wellness Society and I loved it. Our instructor…read moreguided us through the flow with lots of encouragements. Fast paced yoga can be so mental so her reminding us that we are strong was everything to me. If you have a basic understanding of yoga poses, you'll be just fine!! Our workout made me feel so good and warm. The instructor was so kind and welcoming. She even gave us free green tea and ice cubes. The bathroom was so clean. There's so many products in there I'm sure she has what you need. Overall a great experience and I would come back again.

I had the pleasure to meet Jess at Collect Flow tonight as a Yelp Elite guest. I came ready to sit…read morein the back and observe but decided to participate. This is an AWESOME studio! It's small and intimate. It's clean and modern. It's friendly and welcoming. It's relaxing. It's Zen! It's simply -- AMAZING! The others got this right! I've done lots of yoga and walked out feeling like I was challenged to fight and lost. In this studio, everything felt like an invitation. Jess was calm and smiling when I walked in. She quietly greeted me and checked me in with so little when that I barely knew what she was doing. Then she, realizing I had no gear, made the tools I needed appear out of nowhere. The studio is so neat that you don't see the equipment stored plainly in view - "Tiny House" style! But she didn't make me, a newcomer, go wandering around looking for what I needed, she placed it after I said I wanted to practice for me. That made me feel very welcomed. All the yogis were so kind. People said hello as we sat drinking tea to ambient music before and after class. The class, itself, wasn't a course if yogic terms and crazy poses that only superhumans can hold. Everything seems well planned, well intended, and very inviting. I believed I was welcome to "practice" yoga in this studio and that's refreshing! There was no pressure to be perfect or even try sharing that didn't feel right to be The space and the people really encouraged me to just be whoever I needed to be for the time I was there. I felt so much better (than when I walked in) as the session ended. I was more relaxed and I felt more open to the world and me. I jokingly told Jess, the only thing they didn't get right is they didn't build one in Grafton -- where I live!!!! You can't blame me for trying to get thm to bring the goodness closer to my home! HINT! HINT! Go look for this unassuming little studio. You'll be so happy you found it. You'll find your Zen even if you're (like me) not looking for it. It's an amazing place with amazing people something simply AMAZING! Thank you for having me. I look forward to your g Grand Expansion to Grafton (Hey, I gotta keep trying don't I?).
