The cost for an SUV was only a little bit more than a sedan ride. So worth the price for the comfort and I didn't have to drive in any traffic. Half Moon is a wonderful car service. My wife and I have used their services for nearly 10 years…read more I have recommended them to all my friends and family and this company has now become their number one choice as well. They have a good quality fleet of cars, always clean. Their team of drivers are so nice and professional and the owner truly cares to ensure the best experience possible. I have found pricing to be excellent, typically much more affordable than many of their competitors. BUT, more importantly, I have ALWAYS been able to count on them to show up, and on time! They also provide an optional "meet and great" service. We frequently use their services for trips from San Diego to LAX and the San Pedro Cruise terminal.

For being so last minute, we got exactly what we wanted, a white cadillac escalade limousine with the whole shebang for a really decent price. Also, OUR DRIVER DRESSED AS ELVIS! The inside of the limo was not ghetto at all, and the driver was so friendly it really made the night that much funner. The driver was on time, explained everything, and Armando even called to confirm everything was good to go. I booked Jason to drive me to my post-operative medical appointment for the day after cataract…read moresurgery. I had seen and heard so many recommendations of Scroggins Transport Service on social media and from acquaintances, I was glad he was available. Jason is that great combination of professional and friendly. As I approached his car, he immediately jumped out to help me in case my vision was at all impaired. I could actually see well enough not to be wobbly, but I appreciated his concern and actions. He drove me to the appointment, waited for me, and then drove me home. We had great conversations each way, and the price was actually more affordable than had I booked a separate Uber each way. The car was beautifully maintained, the ride was smooth, the communication setting up the appointment and letting me know he was on the way were all perfect. I told Jason I had been keeping an eye on his ads and social media posts for a while, knowing I was reaching a phase of life where family was no longer close by, and friends were not always available to help out with transportation if I couldn't drive myself. Of the many local drivers I've seen recommended on social media, I was impressed that Jason is open to driving clients to medical appointments and social events, not just airport destinations. It is important to me that Jason has commercial insurance and this is his full-time business -- many drivers are not as appropriately insured and may only be driving as a side gig. I honestly feel like a burden has been lifted off of me, knowing that I can turn to Jason for future medical or other appointments. Had he been in business when I was driving my elderly parents to doctors' appointments several times a week, I would have eagerly booked him for a few of those visits, knowing that my parents would have been given the assistance and caring attitude that Jason offers. I'm sure Jason is great with people of all ages.

Sent confirmation texts the night before our pickup reservation. Was very clear about where we should meet him. Was tracking our flight and was onsite to drive to the meeting place once we texted him we were on our way out of the airport. He even met us with cold water - which was wonderful! We enjoyed our conversation with him on our long trek back to North County. He drove professionally for over 16 years. He is a good driver and now has struck out on a more personal service of booking rides. He has a very roomy and comfortable SUV and his pricing was reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate booking a ride with him again. Support his small business!
