I could not have asked for a better team to spend my wine tour with. Liz was funny, out-going, and always available to take a picture for you. We went to three wineries and each one had something special to offer. The lunch we had was exquisite. The brownie pairing with wine was amazing!!! My group had the turkey wraps, roast beef sandwiches, and the Cesar salad! Food kept us going as we sipped many great wines. In downtown Escondido not far from Carlsbad by the ocean, there is the Terminus of the Sprinter Light Rail and the breeze rapid transit and of course the Greyhounds also stop here. It's within walking distance of the interstate - not that you would want to walk onto the Interstate. Specifically Interstate 15, not Interstate 5. You can also get an express bus into San Diego, so it's a pretty good Greyhound stop, although it's not frequented by most of the buses that come through here.

Once booked, Loraine and George took care of the backend, while Rick was assigned as our driver the day of. The mini coach arrived on time, clean, and cool, combatting the summer heat. Rick was so chill, easy to communicate with and didn't mind the group's energy! We were truly excited for our trip and so relieved to not have to drive. Toward the evening, we started to get burnt out and he was responsive to texts, flexible about our return and made it so easy to locate him in a massive parking lot.
