One of my favorite things to do is utilize the transit to get to shows and venues like at the Gaslamp, the convention, or even Petco Park. Used it this weekend for survivor series, and it was such a lifesaver with parking, convenience, and easy access to get to the venue and back. I loved it, and I wish we had this exact smooth service in L.A.; ours sucks. There's no sugar coating that. L.A. needs to learn from San Diego and take notes.

Also, it's worth noting that both Metrolink and Amtrak utilize this transportation center. I also saw a bus depot there. The driver of Bus 2602 refused service to a homeless man in a wheelchair who cannot speak or walk. This man has been seen daily for nearly two weeks--he is peaceful, clean, and causes no harm to anyone. The driver flat out denied him access and left him stranded -- fully visible to everyone on the bus. This is a clear violation of ADA law, civil rights, and basic human decency. To make matters worse, the driver is operating the bus at freezing temperatures with no regard for the passengers who are shivering, while he sits isolated in his personal climate bubble. He has absolutely no care or concern for public comfort or dignity. This driver should be immediately terminated and investigated for discrimination and failure to follow MTS policy and federal ADA regulations. His behavior reflects poorly on the entire MTS system. Complaint filed: Ref# 427-397-841 Formal Complaint to San Diego MTS (For Internal Submission) Subject: ADA Violation, Driver Misconduct - Bus 2602 (June 13, 2025) To MTS Management, I am submitting a formal report regarding a disturbing incident that occurred on Bus 2602. The operator refused boarding to a disabled, non-verbal man in a wheelchair who has been peacefully present in this area for weeks. He does not pose any threat, is clean, and has previously ridden the bus without issue. The driver violated ADA regulations by denying him public transit access and left him stranded at the stop. This is not only illegal, it is inhumane. Furthermore, the driver has the bus climate system set at dangerously cold levels, ignoring repeated discomfort expressed by passengers. I must say that the jobs that the bus drivers have, they take on a big responsibility of getting to where the need to go. But I give thanks for all that they do for so many families. I know for me when I get home I am so thankful that God got me home safe. But I'm sure he does that for so many as well. I know we couldn't do anything about the bus breaking down but we wanted to know if it'd take several-hours so that I can go pick up her up. These employees need some serious customer service training on not hanging up on customers, but I'm sure for what they get paid it's not worth it. AVOID THEM
