Some trolley stops have parking where you can leave your car parked for free and you can just hop on the trolley, however many do not. Regardless, the trolley is definitely helpful if you don't want drive and rather avoid parking fees. My favorite line is the Blue Line as it's less congested and covers a lot of DT San Diego, all the way to San Ysidro! I took the line from E street and it dropped me off at 12th and Imperial which wasn't too far from the Hilton next to the Convention Center. The Green Line was cool too but it's arguably the most popular route as it takes you directly to Old Town, the Convention Center, Seaport and other major destinations. Just be prepared to wait before you can actually board as odds are they'll be packed from door to door.

It seems pretty clean and people mostly keep to themselves in my experience. There was a security guard riding with us but it wasn't clear if he was with the MTS or making his way somewhere. It's a relatively quick and easy ride and transferring isn't hard if you need to. I went to the gas lamp no problem. Coming back later it was a bit dark, especially at old town where I transferred. I just stood nearer to the light. It didn't take all that long and I was back to Nobel. Security was making sure fares were payed as I tapped my phone app out upon leaving. Easy and you don't have to deal with parking, $$$ gas costs or traffic.

I would definitely use this again especially to get into downtown area on busy days! Just wished the trolley went further out, would be great if this existed all across San Diego and into LA honestly. Would make traffic soooo much better! Overall, I am a public transit fan and this made my day to experience this!

There is a market that's open right here which is good can grab a drink or snack, etc. The trolley runs pretty frequent. It is centered for the blue, the orange line and the Greenline. But with that being said I really do try to avoid this stop if I can for those reasons.

Fenton Parkway is one area of the Valley for the many large hillsides you see the many condos and the houses that overlook the Fashion Valley and Mission Valley. Fenton Parkway is the quiet side of the upper part of the valley where the road went up QUALCOMM Stadium when the stadium was closed down due to the team being removed from San Diego. When the San Diego Trolley came to San Diego the many stations that were built through the Mission Valley and Fashion Valley. There is one part of the valley that is more like the Condo and the Townhome valley with a great shopping zone and close to the many colleges of the hills. The station is called Fenton Parkway it was the game station that people could park at and take the trolley to the Stadium. Fenton Parkway is mo0re of the quiet area with the smaller side streets and the top of Friars Road the neighborhood in that zone will be more crowded and the issue of cars colliding with the Trolley at the San Diego Trolley Intersection which is under construction. For the Trolley to slow down the trolley would have to slow down when it came out the stadium station with the trolley doesn't have the decrease of speed until it's close to the station making it hard for cars to cross and the breaking of the Green Line is going to be dangerous and may cause collisions at the station. The stadium has a two-lane road that comes from the stadium and crosses the trolley tracks observing the construction to see of no crossing gates or the install of horns or speakers to say the train is in route. To put a two-lane road at the at the Fenton Parkway Station is asking for people getting hurt many people have died trying to run the gate and collided with the trolley. With the many people that6 ride the trolleys is that you must look at the safety of riders and those that use the green line that is one that come down early and the trolley is given priority to pass through and to make cars wait. I have seen the parking lot, and it has many exits for the people and with the Fenton Parkway area of the station and the San Diego you do have flooding and with the valley you must be ready for overflooding and washouts. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, the many times that I take the Trolley of the many lines is that the Trolley is given full priority at the crossings in the Downtown and the many areas of San Diego. The trolleys do have to stop at the crossings and with the streetlights amongst other things it is going to be very different trying to get the Trolley timed with the Fenton Parkway crossings. The San Diego Trolley's carries much more people from the games the idea of a two-lane road that is going to be problematic. Green line Trolley is the Busiest Trolley in the Fashion Valley Mission Valley with its trip to the East County cities of El Cajon and Santee.
