We wanted more up to date photos of our new baby so we visited first look ultrasound this past weekend. We called and made an appointment easily, when we arrived there was one staff member and she was so sweet! The office is cute, cozy and dimly lit. We had so much fun watching baby move, kick around and hiccup. We are only 16 weeks so we purchased the sneak peak package for $49. This only included the 2D photos. Thank you for such a great experience! My kids wanted to see baby but I can't bring them to doctors appointments so it was perfect that I could bring them with me here. They have a large couch, perfect for families to sit and enjoy the view of baby on a tv. The bed for mama is VERY comfortable, room is nice and cold which is also perfect for mamas who run hot while pregnant. I'm the worst, I forgot to get her name but the ultrasound tech was very nice and bubbly which makes the vibe more friendly. And to top it off, they airdrop your photos to you if you have apple. This is my second pregnancy coming here, my first was a little over 6 years ago when she was located in Aeia. We love the dim lit inviting atmosphere. We love how cozy the viewing room is and how she just makes you feel like family! She's always so excited every time we come and it's like it's her having the baby, you can definitely tell that she loves her job!! Seeing your growing baby in 3D is the coolest thing ever!!! When I go to my ultrasound appointments, they are mostly for checking the anatomy of the baby and not for getting cute pictures of them or their facial features. This place is conveniently located at Harbor Center behind Cutter Ford in Aiea. It was a bit difficult to find the exact location since it is upstairs. To get there, after passing the guard shack, go all the way to the right and drive towards the water until you get to the last row. It's located up the first set of stairs closest to the water. The door is locked at all times so you will need to ring the doorbell to get in. Now for the actual ultrasound! Since it's our first baby, I definitely went all out to see what/who she might look like! I ordered the "All My Heart" package which included 2D, 3D, and videos of baby! It's not easy getting photos of a cramped, super flexible baby! She was super camera shy and did not want to show her face. She had her foot in front of her face then turned over completely showing us her back side for most of the time. We tried pushing on her, using the bathroom, going on my hands and knees, she would not budge! Juliet was nice enough to let us come again to try to get better pictures of baby. The second time was better although baby still had her foot in front of her face, we were able to get better pictures of her and even saw her playing with her cord, sucking/swallowing, and even making a mad face. She's definitely a little boss and does her own thing. My husband and I will forever be grateful for this experience and the videos/photos we have to look at while we patiently wait for baby's arrival! We highly recommend this place as they are so patient and accommodating. read more

I can't express how much I loved coming here. I came at 9 weeks, 14 weeks (gender), 27 weeks, and 34 weeks. Each time Juliette was able to get great pictures of my very stubborn little girl. Even my OB and MFM had a hard time getting pictures of her. But Juliette took her time, was very patient, and at the very end of session asked me if there was anything in particular I wanted to see or see again. I was also very nervous in the beginning since I'm plus size and carry a lot of my weight in my belly as is. Never once did I feel uncomfortable or inconvenient. I just wanted to Thank Juliet for making my gender ultrasound as comfortable and fun as possible! I was able to book my appt on Saturday and was able to get in a few days later. She was the only one who got a good picture of our baby boy. All my other ultrasounds(with my OB and at Fetal Diagnostic) weren't as successful as she was. She got my baby boy moving! My husband, son, and I are so happy with the results of all the pictures and videos. We were able to see baby being shy at first with having his hands covering his face but she got baby to start waving, sucking his thumb, and even playing with his umbilical cord. I seriously had the best experience here especially being a first time mom to be, I wanted to get the full effect of pregnancy and invest in the 3D/4D services they offer here. I've been following their Instagram before I even was pregnant and always told myself I'm gonna make it a point to visit First Look when I do get pregnant. And sure enough when I found out I was pregnant back in September 2016, I was already researching when I should come and get my first ultrasound here. I decided to book one for when I was 16 weeks when I could also find out the gender. Although we didn't want to know the gender just yet as we wanted to wait til our wedding day to have a gender reveal. We got pregnant during our year of planning for our wedding so we wanted to incorporate a little excitement and anticipation for us to look forward to when our big day came. I wanted to go all out with this experience being that it was my first pregnancy so we paid for the Hana Hou package which included 3 ultrasound sessions: Aloha Baby:16-24 weeks, Ohana 2: 25-30 weeks, and Review: 30+ weeks. Our first visit was when we were about 16 weeks and it was such an exciting first experience. We filled out paperwork and chose 5 songs from their list (you can also choose your own) for our video DVD that was to be mailed to us after our session. We met with Juliet, the owner of this business and she's such a sweet welcoming person. She talked with us the whole session and made us feel comfortable. The ultrasound room is really cozy. The bed I laid on was so soft that it made the entire stay feel homey as well as the couch that my husband was sitting on that faces the big screen of where we were watching our baby's movements. The sessions were about 30 minutes long but enough to enjoy the moments we saw watching our baby be active. Since we didn't want to know the gender yet, Juliet would tell us to close our eyes when it came to the area where she would take a picture to determine gender for when she'll place it in the envelope for us to give to our cake person since they were the only ones that will know of the gender to place color in the cake. As tempting as it was to open it as we got a copy for ourselves as well I hid it in a safe place for almost two months til our wedding day. I wanted the anticipation and excitement to build up for our wedding day. Fast forward to our wedding day and we found out we were having a GIRL! We opened up the sealed envelope the next day and found 3 pictures that determined it was a girl with a cute gender card with a note from Juliet. It was such a heartfelt moment to find out we were having a little princess on the way. We also got an edited video from our first session and it was such a joy to watch the whole session again with music in the background. Definitely one for the memory books. We followed up again at 24 weeks and finally at 33 weeks and the sessions were just as great as the first time we came. The ambiance of this place is very accommodating and welcoming. At our final session we got two key chains to go home with. They also provide a CD with all the pictures after each session and some prints out to take home. The ultrasounds here are definitely better than the ones I got from the doctors. Juliet made sure that we get our moneys worth by the way she ensures that we get good pictures and video clips of the baby. Looking forward to our final DVD session to come in the mail of all our three sessions. read more

This was my second time visiting First Look! My first visit, I went to their first location before they moved. It was spacious and clean..more like a place of tranquility! The ultrasound room was nice and quiet. My second visit was at their new location behind Ford Cutter. The office was cluttered, I felt like I was in a waiting room for a car mechanic shop. It was just to messy in the corners. BUT I gave them a 5 because the young lady who did the ultrasound was amazing. She made me forget what the waiting room looked like! Disney movies were playing on the television. I read only to make sure I eat something sweet before my appointment to get some good shots of baby. Juliet was so so so nice and so patient. If I could come every month until I give birth I so would! We got the package that comes with the CD, takes about 2-3 business days to get to your house.
