On October 17, 2022, I had an appointment with Dr. Dmitry Merzon in
Arlington, Mass., for an evaluation related to getting one or two
crowns. He attempted to numb my gums with an injection prior to
probing the teeth to see what needed to be done, The first injection
had no effect. A second and third injection over 45 minutes also
failed. Dr. Merzon then said that I would need to return on another
occasion and that Gail, his assistant, would call me on the next day
to schedule a new appointment. I waited three days before calling for an
update. I then spoke to Dr. Merzon, who informed me that he had sent a
letter stating that his office could not treat me. I asked for an
explanation, but he merely repeated that he could not treat me. I
went to another dentist, who was able to numb my gums and perform all
of the necessary work without any difficulty. Dr. Merzon, in my
opinion, is unfeeling and robotic; and I wonder, of course, why he was
unable to perform the work. I would not recommend him to anyone. read more
