I was told about 5 months ago that they would install a "recorder" to my meter to try and figure out the problem. Nothing happened! After that, I was repeatedly told the problem was within my house. I've now paid $200 for electrician. Of course, the problem didn't happen while he was here. Three days later though it went out, I called him back and he came immediately. Checked everything and found I was only get 120 not the 240 I was supposed to be getting from Entergy. We called Entergy immediately (the electrician took pictures) and explain. Power came back on about 15 minutes after that call. Man from Energy showed up a couple of hours later. Again, he promised a "recorder within a week". Last Friday I called to find out what was going on as no one has shown up to put on this "recorder". My power was going on and off the whole day. I was promised by both the agent I spoke with but also got a call from Barry saying it would be put on by Monday. Well, today I called again and was first told they couldn't find a ticket. Then told to call back and press 3 for the billing department as they could see old tickets. (They can't transfer a call! How ridiculous is that?) So, I called billing, was told that it isn't scheduled until NOVEMBER 11th. Can't get ahold of Barry as that line has been "disconnected". I'm furious that they don't give a crap AND they keep increasing the cost! If there was any other electric company I could use, I would be gone and not deal with this crap anymore. It has burned up several of appliances that I can't figure out how to add surge protection.

Their English is very poor and they never follow through on what they're supposed to do and when you call them out on it, they blame it on the new guy. Terrible terrible customer service!

We have used Amerigas since moving here four years ago. With their recent delivery last December…read moretheir truck driver drove over the edge of the road and put deep tire tracks, front and back tires, in our front grass lawn leaving deep ruts because the ground was soaking wet from a lot of rain we had received. I have put in over six calls and two emails to their CS dept., which BTW is always in a foreign country, with no response and today is Jan 21. They have caused significant damage including to my sprinkler system and I can't talk to anyone at the company. It's virtually impossible to reach anyone locally. I have been assured time and again by their CS dept., when I can understand them, that I would be receiving a call but one has never come. I am taking my business to Ferrell Gas which I can call and talk to someone right in their offices.

This company is ridiculous! My father has rented a Propane tank from them since the 70s, and they…read morehave not maintained the tank once. It is rusting on the side, and back in April it started leaking. My father was mowing and smelled gas (thank God the house didn't blow up). The fire department came out and said he was down to 10% fuel in the tank (he just had it filled in February). My father had the tank filled twice a year when my mother was alive so there is no way, now that it's just him, he had used that much fuel. Amerigas still wanted to charge him $277 for coming out and fixing the leak?!?!? Now tell me, if you rent an apartment the landlord is responsible for the maintenance, right? I would NEVER recommend using Amerigas!

However, the service appointment was cancelled unbeknownst to me because the live technician that started my account didn't provide me with pertinent information such as a "deposit" is required before the technician can travel to my address. In response, I called their customer service line completely confused 2 days after the fact, in which they responded by telling me I owed a $75.00 deposit and a live technician can't accept payment over the phone. (OK....I'm not a shitbag, and I wipe my ass with $75.00 and don't even need a wet wipe when I'm done.) The irritating part is they don't allow technicians to travel to a residence over the weekend, so I'm stuck for 3 more days before a technician can and turn it on. Also, the average full time employee works a full day on a Monday and the douchebags can't schedule a specific appointment time to be at your residence. The only thing they'll tell you is, "A technician will be available between the times of 8 am and 8 pm to turn on service at your residence. You MUST be there, and a technician will call you. If you do not answer, the service appointment will be cancelled again without notification." I'm not sure when the f*ck I started living in the stone age, but this shit is unreal ridiculous.
