I had to go to Crittenton Hospital due to an injury, the valet attendants were amazing. They helped with my crutches and were very pleasant.

CBJ Valet - Damage done by CBJ valet at Zef's

    CBJ Valet

    (5 reviews)

I highly recommend not using this company (specifically at Zef's in SCS) they damaged my vehicle…read moreseverely and I begged them to watch the videos reminding them multiple times a week. The whole situation was sketchy and finally they said "the videos were deleted it had been so long" Helen the manager handled it poorly and brushed off my calls and when I spoke to the owner of the company he blamed me and talked down to me and said the damage was minimal in a demeaning way. This vehicle was brand new I'd only had it less than a week and was in perfect condition, if valet wasn't the only option I obviously would have parked myself. Just a warning if you do go to Zef's and use valet check your vehicle immediately for damage and report it on the spot, this company has zero integrity. Now I'm out over $500 fixing the damage they've done.

I used to work for this valet company and i have A LOT to say about how corrupt and cruel this…read morecompany is. I am going to stay anonymous because if they find out who I am then i forsure wont be getting these things called "incentives" that im most likely not getting anyway. Incentives are a program created by our boss (Jarred Cloin), and for every day an individual works he takes $3 from he/she's pay from that day and supposedly puts it aside for when incentive day comes around. Incentive day comes around every year and on that day you are to collect your previous year's incentives. Example, if i worked 120 days in the year 2017, then on incentive day of 2018 i am supposed to receive 120 days worth of incentives. And the rule is that the only way you get your incentives is if you still work for the company or if you put your two weeks notice in before you quit (if u quit on the spot or get fired then u dont get your incentives). The only problem is that INCENTIVE DAY NEVER HAPPENS!!! I put my 2 weeks in and left on great terms with the company and I have still yet to receive my incentives. I have called Jarred (the boss/owner) multiple times and eventually he just stopped answering my calls. I know of a lot more people from the company that still havent gotten their incentives. Aside from the most corrupt part of the company, lets move on to the second most corrupt part... tips. Imagine this, you feel generous and tip the valet driver $20, but little do you know that the poor kid who just ran his butt off to get your car has to hand that $20 bill right over to whoever is leading that event (usually Jared or his right hand named Helen). You may think "oh they are splitting the tips" but unfortunately you'd be wrong. MOSTLY every person in a purple shirt is called a "helper". A "helper" is someone who parks and retrieves the cars and a "leader" is someone who hands out the tickets when someone decides to valet. The helpers are usually around 16-18 years old. Anyways, whenever you tip a driver in a purple shirt, that tip actually is going staight to the "leader" of that event while the "helper" is making their $9 an hour (no tax) or $10 an hour if they know how to drive manual (no tax). Speaking of getting paid, the whole payment process is super sketchy. So we meet up in a parking lot at 10pm-12 midnight, there are two cars in the middle of the lot. In one car is Helen and the second car is Jared. All of the workers arrive and line their cars up and it is mandatory for us to turn off our car lights. We wait until Jared flashes his lights and one by one we approach the cars, first Helen's car and second Jared's car. Helen collects envelopes from the leaders (envelopes contain timesheats and money from events they have led) and then u make your way to Jared. At Jared's car, he hands you a notebook and asks u to write "I (employee's name) have been paid in full for the following days" and He reads off a list of days that you've worked within that pay cycle and you are to copy them down as he reads, after he asks for your signature. Finally, he hands you an envelope full of cash with the days you are being paid for written on the front. There are so many things wrong and unethical with this process in my opinion. Speaking of wrong and unethical, lets segway into how Jared treats his workers and customers. I will not deny that Jared does have his days where he is very generous and buys his employees food, water, and actually gives out free money (rarely though). Aside from that, he is very disrespectful and inconsiderate to his employees most of the time. He is so obsessed with looking professional that his employees MUST be standing straight with their hands behind their backs. Employees are not allowed to lean or sit when customers are around. Jared constantly talks down to his employees, uses swear words and belittles them. I have heard stories of him making employees cry and even stories of Jared almost physically fighting and employee. His treatment to his customers is usually very good so i will give credit where it is due. Jared urges his employees to always get the doors for ladies, help men put on their suit jacket, and to greet them with smiles. But you better hope those poorly trained valet drivers dont slip up and damage your vehicle because then Jared's morals go out the window. There was a time when an employee damaged 3 or 4 cars at once and Jared did not want to inform the owners of the vehicles and rather he just hoped they wouldnt notice. Unfortunately, I am not aware of how that story played out. All in all, working for this company seemed okay at the time because i was young and naive, but now as i look back at it i know it was hell. This was all 100% facts and from personal experience. If you made it this far into my review then I thank you and ask if you can spread the word. God Bless. P.S. If a purple shirt is working ALONE then please tip because they can keep it!!!
