But it seems the company is under new ownership. My more recent job with them was subpar. When I reached out to them, they tried to blame me for misusing the item. The item was a diner booth bench. I was sitting on it! How could I misuse it?! Eventually they agreed to pick up and fix it but not before I had to fight with them to do so. Everyone makes mistakes. It's how you deal with them that makes all the difference. If they had simply apologized and fixed their mistake, I wouldn't have to be writing this bad review.

In addition, I was very happy that he was able to take the curio to his workplace to do the repairs because with our large, very protective dog, it would have been difficult to have this work done in my house. I'm truly impressed with how he restored the curio to its original condition. This was definitely a project with all that was required; the curio had broken legs, detached pieces of metal fence-like railings, unsecured shelving, etc. To summarize, he did a super job and I highly recommend him!

My plan was to use this coffee table as a bench at the end of the bed, however it was very wobbly, not sturdy enough to be sat on, and had at least a 5" crack in the middle of one of the legs. I contacted Jim via email and sent pictures, to which he replied to promptly and provided a rough estimate.... so I made an appointment to bring it in. Jim is both a gentleman, who was a pleasure to deal with, and an expert craftsman, who has 28 years experience in both furniture repair and upholstery. He knows his stuff! His shop was absolutely immaculate and he was both kind and easy to talk to. Top notch customer service :) 4 days later my table was ready! Apparently, it required pretty much an entire deconstruct of the second shelf and all the legs, regluing and reinforcing all interior dowels and then reassembly. The cracked table leg? I couldn't even notice it was repaired! I'm thrilled to have my treasured sentimental table back with the ability to use it in more functional manner as a bench for the end of the bed! I would absolutely recommend Jim to anyone who needs furniture repaired. Overall it was a top notch experience in every way.
