Thanks to his patience and for being confident in me. Thank you so much for all the help. P.S if you live in Jamaica queens, or any other places and you need a driving school i recommend you guys to go to this school. The best.... well for me was read more

this driving school is the BEST in NYC. Staff are very knowledgeable , friendly and professional. they displays great altitude at all times. I went to this driving school and did three lessons and learnt so much that I didn't learn in other driving school after fifteen lesson. people if you're looking to get your drivers license I strongly recommend this school! do NOT look anywhere else because this is the place! the first day I call them I know this was the place to be. the guy that take us for the driving test is the BEST he is super kool and gives lots of tips for our test. I will I could give a 10 stars rating. read more

Whoever said this is the best driving school clearly has some sort of personal relationship with the instructors because this driving school is awful.. It's like they are just teaching you how to cause an accident. they try to sound professional but fail terribly. I get a very bad vibe from this school , it's located on Westchester Ave.. save yourself and find a better school the instructors here will not teach you to be a good driver rather than to have you continuously coming back for classes read more

me siento bien segura de manejar y entiendo todo de conducir. recomiendo las classes que van a pasar si por si. ellos trabajan en lo que son tus metas en conducir. Gracias por todo!!!!! read more

I can't recommend this place enough. I got my license on the first try. Great instructors. Took the fear away from driving. Although I have my license, I plan on going back to take a few highway lessons. Great staff, great customer service. read more

Christopher was my instructor, very professional and thorough. This school teaches you everything you need to know for the road test and allows you to work through what you're struggling with. I had one instructor through out and that consistency was great for me. I passed on my first try. read more

I'm giving it one star because the driver introducer was great and humble but other then that the business owner is RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, HAS VERY POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS. I signed up for my classes January 8th it is now March 19th and ask me if i have my license Absolutely NOT. To many excuses to many run arounds waste of my time if you don't want your time wasted DONT sign up. Also when I went to go ask for my money back because I was disappointed in the service and the lies he yells at me tells me either u take the classes or you lose your money !!!! IM DISGUSTED AND DISAPPOINTED THAT A BUSINESS MAN OF 10 YEARS SPEAKS SO POORLY TO CUSTOMERS THAT JUST WANT TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING IN LIFE SUCH AS GETTING THEIR LICENSE. Again if you want to deal with poor communication skills and disrespect don't sign up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Wanna fail your driving test? Well have I got the place for you! Like spending money? and getting nothing for it? This is the spot! And when you fail your test the first question they ask is "do you want to spend $60 to take it again?" They could care less the pain and the anguish you're experiencing, they just want your money. Later I found out through another driving school that I could use my own car and it's free to reschedule. read more

I highly recommend the first class driving school on Westchester / Simpson. My instructor was junior and he made me feel as comfortable as possible. Always kept me calm, even if I were a tad bit nervous. If your looking for someone to show you everything you need to know the right way to be able to pass your driving test, he's the right one to go to. you won't regret anything one bit because they want to see you pass and care to the max. I took 5 lessons and passed my exam! Definitely will be going back for highway driving lessons. read more

This driving school was a gift from god. The people that work here are so attentive and so determined to see you succeed. My instructor Yorman was wonderful. He built my confidence on the road and prepared me for the road test. I would've never passed the road test without him. Thank you First Class. read more

My instructors were Yorman and Junior. Both fantastic instructors. I passed the road test on the first try. Junior drove me to my road test and reinforced some helpful tips and helped calm my nerves. I highly recommend this school! read more

I highly recommend the driving school at the 989 Westchester Ave. Bronx. My instructor Remigio was incredible. He prepared me for the road test very good. I appreciate the way they treated me. read more

Good prices, mediocre service, rundown vehicles. I purchased the 5 lesson package and unlike some driving schools, here you are taught by multiple instructors so each lesson is like a fresh start which may be a pro or con depending on how you view it however, I did not really care for it. At the beginning of each session I was asked the same questions - Have you driven before? How many lessons did you purchase? and When is your road test? On the day of the road test I went in a car with 2 other students and it took hours to complete the process but I passed and that is what really matters. If you have a choice in the matter I would highly recommend Orlando, he was great! read more

Just passed my road test all thanks to the folks at First Class Driving School. Their prices can't be beat and can't be found better anywhere else. Ghufri, the instructor is an amazing teacher. Super calm and patient & nice ! Thank you guys for allowing me a great opportunity. 1000% recommend ! read more

I went to this driving school after looking at a bunch of reviews on Google. Boy, did I make a terrible mistake. Everyone that reviewed this place was raving about the prices and the great driving instructors. Yet, my experience was a bit different. This place advertises that you get multiple instructors. However, even with the 10 class package, I was only taught by one instructor, Ghufri. The instructor asked me if I drove before. I told him two or three times, which meant I had almost no experience. I guess to him that meant I had all the experience I needed. He was always either on his phone texting or taking phone calls which really got in the way of my class and he'd spend more time going to the deli store to get red bulls. At least offer me some if you're gonna use my money like that. He never taught me the basics of the road, and never told me what to do till I did something wrong. For the most part, as a student you're just told to do turns and park. We wasted about 10 minutes driving back and forth to the site and back and each class is about 45 minutes. What a scam!! After 10 classes I was still did not feel comfortable. If you have a driver in your family, you will be fine here. However, if you do not have any drivers in the family and never had any experience at this location DO NOT GO HERE! They will waste your time and money. read more

Just passed my road test today. Had 3 lessons with 3 different instructors but Orlando was the best once and he also took me to the road test site. What I learned from him is what stuck with me the most and I now have a license. Only negative is that the lessons started late at times but other than that they're solid. read more

Just passed my road test on my first try thanks to orlando and his dedication to teaching me how to drive. Beyond grateful and thankful for first class for all their assistance in helping me pass! read more

After spending close to $500 on lessons, I wound up failing my road test. Now, I can't say with all certainty that my failing score was the result of subpar training, but I CAN say that there were many warning signs that the instructors (and the administration) were not at all invested in me as a client nor were they concerned with whether I passed or failed. In fact, I got the sneaky suspicion that they'd rather me fail since then they could charge me for more lessons. The whole driving school's model seems to be set up so as to maximize the number of students and have them take as many courses as possible in order to yield the greatest profit margin -- even if it means them failing their road test two or three times. The whole thing started feeling like a big scam around lesson number 5, when I realized that the instructor still didn't even recognize me, know my name, or have any clue regarding the date for which my test was scheduled. Even worse, he couldn't say exactly what I needed to work on and gave me no insights on what to expect during the test. Another five lessons ensued, three of which were with a different instructor (this one rather rude and too busy looking at his cell phone to worry about my performance on the road, save for the occasional shout about how hard it is to pass the test, which wasn't exactly reassuring). The day of the road test, my original instructor was nowhere to be found (apparently he was in DR on vacation) and I was stuck with the rude instructor I'd had on three occasions. He was abrasive and disinterested throughout the day. Moreover, I had to use a different vehicle than the one I'd practiced in for all those weeks (again, because my original instructor vanished into thin air and no one felt it necessary to give me a heads-up). After I failed, the instructor just said, "You'll try again" and shrugged it off. Meanwhile, I'd spent all my cash on the lessons and felt like a complete and utter failure. Now, they're basically telling me I have to wait another 2 months for a new road test and that I need more lessons if I'm to pass. My gut instincts were apparently on point: this is one big scam, folks! read more

I went to this driving school after having paid over $500 for a total of ten classes at another driving school and HATING the instructor I had. I purchased an additional 8 classes at this driving school and passed my driving test on the first try. My instructor, Joseph, was absolutely wonderful, to say the least. He was calm and he coached me through the process. Keep in mind that I am/was a very nervous driver and I was so so scared of the road. Joseph worked with me and helped me calm down. He explained the importance of staying calm while on the road and gave me awesome feedback on how to make my turns, how to park and how to stay in my lane. I recommend this driving school, specifically the instructor Joseph. read more

Passed the road test!!! Would give Ghufri and First Class Driving School 10 stars if I could. Super patient, explains the rules of the road and handling the car. Made passing the test a breeze. Can't wait for my son to be old enough this is where you want to go if you want to pass. read more

I highly recommend this driving school to anyone, they are so helpful and encouraging! I had very few lessons but in the short time I was taking my lessons, my instructor was very informative and taught me so much! I love that this is a family own business and they're very oriented! I recommend the driving class to my boyfriend and he alway came back telling me how his instructor was so helpful and making it into a comfortable environment! read more

This driving school was horrible. DO NOT GO WITH THIS SCHOOL!!! They continually canceled my appointment and the instructor even had me stop for him to go get fruit at a store. The worst part was that the car was in horrible shape. You really had to push down hard on the brakes. The day of my road test, the car wouldn't even start which made me nervous about missing my test. They got a boost from a taxi driver and it turned on, but I was worried the whole time. Luckily, I had practiced with my uncle so I was already familiar with driving, but please do not waste your money on this place. read more

I highly recommend First Class Driving School. I was a late learner (age 39) when I started my lessons. If they helped me- they can help anyone! I called many driving schools in my initial search for a school and I found that they were the most organized and responsive. If I needed to make any changes to my schedule, First Class was very helpful. I balance work and family, so that was a must. The teacher Ghufri is super relaxed, and has the perfect personality for a teacher. I initially tried to have someone in my family teach me, so I know the difference :) He teaches you the important basics, and I found if you ask for specific help like extra parallel parking, or parking lot navigation etc. he will also accommodate. I felt exceptionally prepared for the exam, and I am pleased to say that I am now a licensed driver and loving it! You can trust them with your lessons. read more

I've learned more from only taking 3 lessions in this driving school than 12 classes at this awful school in Chinatown. I passed with First Class in November and I'm hopefully gonna take highway classes with them soon. For the other review, they obviously have to ask you if you want to take it again. read more

This post is late but relevant. I went to the Westchester location in Sept 2018 and paid for the 10 driving class package. I had no experience in driving. I paid around $380 but I received a percent off because I was a college student. After reading the reviews I knew I had to be taught by Junior. When I went he was very professional and all of the employees there are as well. They want to see you pass your license. After I took my five hour class They scheduled me for a October 2018 road test. With the ten package I took one driving class a week. By the second lesson I had already knew how to park from Junior techniques. He said to me you are going to pass this road test just follow my techniques. By the fourth lessoned I mastered both parking and 3 park turning. The other six lesson we continue with parking,3 park turning, all road test requirements and making your I kept the appropriate speed. By the end of the ten lessons I felt very confident. The day before my road test I paid for one more additional lesson just as a fresher. The day of the road test he drove me and another student and prepped us. He let us know exactly what to expect and the day plan out just as he said. So to end this story I passed my road test on the first try .Junior held good to his promise. If you want to pass go to this driving school and follow their techniques and make sure you get junior !!!! read more

First class driving school has been by far the most amazing experience ever!! They have great instructors who are patient & very helpful...I was a rookie on the road, but they walk you through each step of the way.
