I have had the good fortune of traveling with First Choice Tours for many years. I have been on more than 20 tours with First Choice, including to New York City, Boston, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, and many other destinations. Each trip far exceeds my expectations and only makes me want to immediately book my next adventure. All of the escorts on these tours have been knowledge, pleasant and helpful with the information they have shared about our destinations. The trips often include a movie or two which have been personally selected by the escorts with the passengers in mind. The destinations are clearly researched and have something to offer everyone on the bus. I can't imagine finding a better value for my dollar than with First Choice Tours. Even the buses they use are the highest quality. I can honestly say, as someone with back issues, that sitting on a bus for hours can be a problem. But I have not experienced any problems when on these buses. First Choice Tours is a first rate travel company. I am a finicky traveler who likes to know what is going on, and when it is going to happen. I have always been impressed with FCT and the Owner Maria because we get a detailed itinerary before we even pack our bags. Times, events, locations, etc. are spelled out. It has been my experience with FCT that if there is a delay or emergency, passengers are informed and kept " in the loop" as things progress. There are situations that are out of the tour escort's control, like traffic, breakdowns, alternate routes, etc. You will find that everywhere - if you have flown recently, you know what I mean. FCT works hard to keep everyone on schedule and makes every effort to please everyone throughout the trip, whether it is a day trip or a multi-day trip. Any questions I have had were always answered quickly and honestly, before, during, and after a trip.Additionally, Maria is always asking for people's suggestions and feedback which indicates to me that she is always looking to meet her customers' needs and wishes. We have used First Choice Tours for domestic and international travel. The owner is a professional who plans well for human beings who get lost, get sick, or have other unexpected issues that arise when traveling. She always informs people on her tours as to what is happening, how close we are to our destination, the length of time we have at designated stops, etc. we always have the tour escort's contact information and clear written and oral directions as to where we are being dropped off, where we will be picked up and time frame. I have taken many wonderful trips with this company, all great experiences. The tour guides have always been very pleasant and so well informed. They supply helpful hints and destination handouts, and always provide their personal cell numbers in case you need to reach them when you are out on your own during a tour. Although I have never needed to call, having access to the guide is very reassuring when traveling to what might have been a previously unknown area. In my experiences, I have always had fun and caring tour guides. Their buses are the best, first class, as are their drivers. I have never experienced delays or late arrivals, all of my many trips ran right on schedule. I took a bus trip with this company for the first time yesterday on a fall foliage tour to North Conway New Hampshire. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We were picked up in West SPRINGFIELD at the quality inn. We were there early and so was the bus. The tour guide Ann was lovely. Courteous, kind, patient. The driver David was an excellent driver. We had two short stops, one going and coming back. North Conway on Columbus day weekend is packed with tourists but they got us to our scheduled train ride on time. We had a movie on the way home.
