DO NOT GO HERE!!! I wish there was an option to give zero stars. I dropped off 3 bags of laundry for their laundry service. At the top of one of our laundry bags was a vintage rust-coloured suede jacket. As this laundromat also does dry cleaning, I had assumed that they would dry clean the jacket. I will own the fact that I should not have assumed and should have specified. When we went to pick up our laundry, the bill was $66.46. The owner told us that he was only charging us $60 because "a tiny bit of colour from the jacket got on a couple of items of clothing." I said that I was sure it was fine, paid the bill, retrieved my laundry and left. I wish more than anything that I had looked at my laundry before paying and leaving. When I got home and unpacked the laundry bags, we discovered that what had actually happened was that he had washed and dried the suede jacket in a conventional machine, completely destroying it. But what was even worse was that he had washed it in a load of white clothing and EVERYTHING was ruined. One large, full bag of clothing was all dyed pale orange with larger dark rust patches...roughly about $400 worth of items destroyed. The owner had, on one article of clothing, tried to get it off by using some kind of bleach cleaner so that sweatshirt now has a big bleach stain on the front of it as well as all of the rust coloured dye. As the laundromat was closed, my partner and I went back the next day to talk to him and to try and get our money back. My partner expressed that while a significant amount of clothing was ruined, all we wanted was our money back. The owner kept refusing, saying that it was not his fault and that we were to blame because we put the jacket in with the bag of laundry. Someone who owns a laundromat/dry cleaning service should know that a suede jacket, (particularly a vintage one), should not go in a washer and dryer. And regardless of his perceived mixup about how the jacket should be cleaned, he sure as hell should have known to not put a rust coloured item in with a white load. He had my name and number and could have called to clarify at any time. We did not get our money back and we are stuck with a pile of clothing that needs to be repurposed. He did not offer any compensation or take any responsibility whatsoever. The owner is a man of poor morals and business ethics and I cannot stress enough that you should AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. I had to use a laundromat while my laundry room was getting reno'd and I ended up here. The owners spoke limited english, but were very friendly and helpful. The place was pretty clean, especially having walked by and looked into Shorty's which I couldn't tell if they were still in business. Can't really comment on the price, as I didn't compare prices, but it seemed reasonable at the time (I can't really remember what it cost now). Weekends get a bit busy, as there are only 4 double load front loaders, 2 triple, and 1 quad load machine, plus a few top loaders. Parking was available for free in the back, and pretty easy to find out front too. read more

Terrible sew job! I went to go get two of my dress pants shorten here. When dropping off they did not tell me how much it would be as well that its only cash. When I picked it up he told me to drive to the bank and take money out to pay for my two pants. I didn't agree on the amount as the job that was done way under par my 5 month old daughter could do better. Over all horrible customer service and as well as horrible sew job on my two pairs of pants. Would never ever sept back into there and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It took me hours to undo and correct his work. The owner told me he appreciate my feedback. I wont be satisfied until I get my money back. read more

Be very wary about their drop off service - consistently overcharged and billed for services I never asked for. Have been using their drop-off laundry service for about a year now, and when I started I was quoted a price per lbs. When I paid for each load, it was consistently a couple lbs over the actual as I weighed it myself but I let it slide figuring it was perhaps a minor calibration issue with their scale. After awhile, I was being charged for more than just a few lbs over, it was quite a few lbs over. When asked, he told me that they decided to charge me a higher rate because I asked for a receipt, without ever informing me?! Even when using the higher rate, it didn't account for the extra cost. Final straw came when I went to pick up a load and he decided to dryclean a number of my shirts without asking or telling me beforehand, charging me $5 each shirt. I have never asked for drycleaning for any of my previous loads. A typical $20 load turned into $64! read more

I did laundry here temporarily when my washing machine suddenly started leaking. The owners are pleasant and helpful. The machines wash clothes very efficiently and I was pleased with the place overall. read more

This is the cleanest, best run and most cared for laundromat I have found. The people who run it are great and friendly. They keep the place very tidy. They are in an easy location for parking and have parking at back as well. All around terrific. They also have a tailor there and she is very good and very reasonably priced. read more

I've been going here for 5 years. The current owners are the 3rd set since we started using this place. Unfortunately, the quality has gone down hill rapidly. Trying to get hot water is useless. He won't fix the problem. He has limited English but I've seen him play "dumb" and that's just wrong. The bathroom is filthy, with a ripped and torn plastic toilet seat that he won't replace. It's unfortunate that we won't be returning, as his wife is an amazing woman, and I'll miss her. read more

Let me you tell you my story , I have gone to this first choice Laundry mat for almost half a year and have gotten to know the owner whom his name is Jim, he's a sneaky , dirty , liar. I HAVE CUAGHT him TWICE putting someone else laundry into my dryer. This owner is extremely sneaky . The person had dropped off there white blanket for him to wash and I wasn't around to wait for my stuff being in the dryer because I always let my stuff dry for an hour which he knows . So I know that in 1 hour I will come back. For some reason because he has done this to me before I simply didn't trust him so I came back in half an hour . OMG FREAKING GOD . THE idiot did the same thing again to me putting someone else laundry into my dryers. when I came in he saw me and he immediately jumped out of his chair and grabbed the persons laundry which whom he was doing for . This time I was outraged so I asked him what the hell is he doing and he simply said he made a mistake, and said sorry it wont happen again . Are you freaking kidding me I told him . This JIM guy is a snake . I know exactly what his motive was hes trying to save energy on his electric bill. If anyone is going to this place don't trust this man . The only reason I came here is because the previous place that I used to go to they have closed there business which is located in the Kensington area where safeway is . Those owners were awesome . Just to let anyone know that my laundry was not clothing items they were square pads used for my dog to do his pee and poop while I am not home , so that's why I bring my stuff to a laundry mat because the industrial machines are more stronger to take away the smell . PLEASE People don't go to this place and to those people especially who drop off there laundry to him hes dirty. I watched the way how he handles peoples items , he puts it on the table which I have seen with my own eyes there was some sort of residue on the table and I thought he would wipe it at first , he didn't even bother.
