She took the effort to remember my name when I had dropped off the suit. The cleaning was solid, the prices are much more reasonable than other places I've been to. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!…read more I dropped off two dry-clean only tops that were purchased at Banana Republic, where I had paid a fair amount for these items. These shirts were identical, except for the colour. I had a long talk with the woman at the counter explaining to her that the last time I brought these tops here, they came back feeling a touch snug, but because the material was a bit stretchy it got better throughout the day. I just wanted to make sure that dry cleaning these tops was safe, and that the tops would be returned to me looking and feeling the same - isn't that the whole point of dry cleaning??? She assured me that dry-cleaning was best for this particular type of material and that it would come back looking and feeling the same as when I brought them in. Here's the KICKER: When I picked up the tops today and brought them home, I discovered that they were significantly LONGER than when I brought them in - about 5 inches longer! They now look like tunics!!! Instead of the bottom hem stopping just below the waist, it extends below my hips. I'm extremely unhappy. I'll be back here with an update as to whether or not these guys make an attempt to remedy the problem. Fingers crossed, this can be corrected.

The male owner is always interested in my scooter and we usually have nice time chatting about that. Although few people may not know this, but I was told he was a master tailer back in Vietnam and does great tailoring work--even made a leather coat for a friend of mine by special request. I bring all my dresses in for tailoring and my pants in for repair when the crotch wears out (big girls out there know what I'm talking about!) and they do the work for me fast and cheap! One time he tailored my dress on the spot while I was waiting for my laundry! The prices have gone up a bit in the last year or so ($2.25 for a double wash load, $0.25/4 min dryer), but I still would rather go to them because of the great customer service I get from them and the quality and cheap price of their tailoring work. They've even lent me quarters to get my wash started and let me run to the bank to get the cash I needed--more than once!
