PAINFUL and DREADFUL EXPERIENCE! I came here as a new patient and was having some decent pain going in. I explained everything to the Doc, told him what I was used to and we proceeded to getting adjusted. Dr. Dom is knowledgeable and can surely rack you and crack you and I will tell ya, he cracked dang near every joint in my back and neck. The only problem I had is that he used SO MUCH FORCE to get me adjusted that he actually worsened my symptoms. I felt great walking out of First Chiropractic and thought I was fixed. NOT THE CASE!!! A few hours later, I was crying in pain, couldn't move my left leg without pain and the lower back issue moved to the other side. That left me having a very uncomfortable night sleeping however, having had pain before after adjustments, I thought I'd get through it and come morning time, all would be well. Yeah, that was wishful thinking!! I was in agony the day after. My night ended up way worse with zero sleep and I even took pain medication to help to no avail! I have never in my life hurt this bad after seeing a chiropractor. Of course I have underlying issues with bulging discs and DJD Spine and now I wonder if he somehow forgot or missed those conditions before he laid into me to adjust me. He was able to get every joint but I think he should have been a little more apprehensive given my symptoms and conditions and even a little bit more gentle. I will not make this mistake ever again. This is just my experience and I can't say this will happen to everyone and if you like that HARD CORE, rack n crack, he is your guy for sure. I added an extra star for cleanliness and diligence during times of COVID. Hand sanitizer is available, social distancing in effect so have no fear there. I almost called them to tell them about me but I was terrified to go back. I wish I could give a better rating but I just can't bring myself to do so. read more

I found this place 4 years too late! I had just sold my house, and sleeping in a hotel for 3 days I woke up so stiff in my neck. I have bulging disks in my C4 and C5 and loads of other misalignment issues. I called for a walk in adjustment and got an appointment the same day. Seriously hoping I would just be able to move my neck the next day. I wish I would have gone years ago. Its been 4 days and I am so happy I went. Tricare really needs to add chiro to their authorizations. Paid out of pocket but worth every penny. The have a payment plan for more than 1 visit and just ask when you call. Worth every cent! I came in with a pinched nerve that has been causing horrible pain for the last 2 years. BEFORE coming in to examine me, Dr Peterson actually took the time to examine the MRI and x-Ray reports. (We all know how rare this is.) He took the time to discuss the how of the injury, what treatments make it worse or better, and what activities I have to do daily for home and work. I began going to this first chiropractic location in January of 2013 when I was having severe back pain. After seeing Dr. Weary for a few months I was feeling so much better. I no longer needed to be seen super often so in August when I received a call to remind me to schedule a maintenance appointment I decided, sure, I feel great but wouldn't hurt to go in for an adjustment. When I arrived at the office I was told that Dr. Weary had left the practice and I would be seeing a new doctor. I figured that would be fine, I've only had good experiences with the two chiropractors I have been treated by in my life. Boy was I wrong. The new chiropractor in that office seemed nervous and odd and within an hour of my adjustment I was in pain which lasted the next four days. So after feeling fine and going in for a maintenance adjustment- I ended up on the couch alternating heat and ice for days. Needless to say I won't be back. Also be careful when paying through insurance with this company. I paid via cash and received what I felt to be a fair rate, my husband used his insurance to pay for his visits and with his copay and then the bill he got from 1st Chiropractic for what his insurance didn't pay, he ended up being charged a lot more out pocket plus they got payment from the insurance. read more

I had my first ever chiropractic experience with Dr Martinez just the other day. I had been putting this off for years because I was very uneasy about someone that I didn't know putting their hands on me, (yes I know dumb reason but true just the same). I explained this to him and he guessed right off that I was prior military and that at my age, 55, my uneasiness was not uncommon and that he would take his time with me. My first visit was approximately 30 min and I really felt better right away. I was amazed! I suffer from migraines and during the rainy season they get worse big time. I was at wits end because I was getting them weekly and they would last for 2-3 days each. July, I lost almost the entire month due to them. Anyway, he explained every step, all the whys and wherefores etc. I rarely get on the computer to do reviews but I just had to in this case. Guys and Gals, if you are like I was, I am telling you this is the Dr. for you. My next appointment is this week and I am looking forward to it. Oh by the way, with this monsoon season, I usually have migraines right off every day they come rolling in. I swear to you all, since my 1st and only appointment 3 days ago I, for the first time ever with this type of weather, haven't had so much as a headache. I was even able to work outside all day with zero issues. Trust me, if you have never had a migraine thank your lucky stars. I would rather anything than one of those. Anyway, Dr Martinez is a life saver.
