If I could give this bank a negative star I would. The absolute worst experience with a banking…read moreinstitution I have ever had. First, the "front" of the bank is locked and you have to go around to the back to go inside. Second, they are slooooow and incompetent. I went in to this branch to open a simple checking account and ended up being there for nearly an hour. Elizabeth needed assistance a number of times to only realize she forgot to put an "x" in a box then proceeded to take my driver's license and SS card to the teller's window area where she put together my packet of info and never returned back to her office where I sat waiting. I came out to see where she went and she was assisting a drive-thru customer. She handed me the packet and we exchanged some friendly conversation and I was then on my way. A few hours later I arrive at a new Dr appt and reached in my wallet for ID and it was gone. I look and see KS bank left a VM on my phone stating they have my ID and SS card. Wasnt able to see the Dr without my ID so I drive to KS Bank to get card. One month later, I still do not have my new debit card so I go to the branch to see what happened. I am met at the door with Elizabeth putting up an "out to lunch" sign. We have a brief conversation where she explains away their "glitch" in the system and I am not believing it. I call to address the matter with management stating we arent getting off on a good foot here but wanted them to be aware of the issues. I received a call later in the evening from the bank manager stating that since I was having a bad experience, she went ahead and closed my account and would mail a certified check out with my funds. A week later, I received a call from the branch stating they decided not to mail the check and I needed to come to the bank for my funds. I am beginning to think this bank is going to hold my money hostage. Going there now. Will update review later.

Friendly and helpful - you could not ask for anything more. We opened the account quite easily. The tellers, there were 2, were so friendly. It was great to see their smiling faces. I will set up online banking and who knows -- maybe this will be our ONLY bank sometimes soon. Stop by and see them -- you will be glad you did !!!

It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot and make a stop at the ATM. I've been coming here more often with my other bank closing its branch as the credit union is more convenient than that branch of the bank.

Fortunately NFCU 800# is helpful and aware of serious account services mismanagement at this local branch. I avoid whenever possible. I still have another bank so I can still manage liquidity. There are a very slim handful of helpful tellers. I do agree that staffing and coverage should be better. Whoever determines NFCU interest rates are terrible as I had to transfer investments to other banks offering greater than 5% interest when they change rates at the drop of a hat! The government has kept rates consistent only recently dropping .25%....I cannot wait to have my account make money with another firm!!!
