The guys behind the counter actually cared that they worked there and happy for your business. That is a rear find at these types of establishments. What did I learn today? Choose the wrong exit and you risk pulling into oncoming traffic trying to get back to the freeway. Overall, I appreciate the location for the convenience, but the gas prices are definitely among the highest in the city. I was not very happy, but hey it's one of the few gas stations near the port and I was trying to get to Little Italy quickly. The stations are very tight, if you have someone in front of you, odds are you'll have to wait as someone is likely behind you too. Interestingly, I had two people waiting for me, one in front and one behind me. I had a girl waiting in front of me for my gas pump as her pump only had diesel available and this was her first time driving a vehicle that runs on gas! I had to explain to her which pump was gas and which was diesel, she was friendly but it held up the line. Next, I had some really pervy-looking guy in his car behind me. This man was yelling at his buddy who was working the car wash, they really needed to tone it down! Amongst the busy atmosphere, at least you can admire the ocean with a quick glance. That was nice! I usually come here for a quick, fast , and affordable car wash, and it is convienently located near me. The gas area is tight and limited, but eventually, you can squeeze in even on a busy day. They have quite a few gas pumps and some store parking up front for the personnel, not needing gas. Inside the store is spacious and clean and they sell many drink varietys and snacks. They offer alcohol beverages and tobacco products as well. As for the car wash, it is built in the same space as the gas station. You can easily pay for your car wash while pumping gas, or you can just pull up to the car wash area and pay with a debit/credit card. There are 4 options for the car wash ranging from basic to deluxe, and this time, I went with the standard basic option. The car wash uses high-pressure water soap and also has scrubbers to get your car looking beautiful. The dryer has vents blowing from the left side and right side with a 60-second timer. At this time, you are allowed to change from park to drive and slowly go through drying off all excess water. Overall, it is a great gas station to go to and pick up some snacks and gas for the road and, of course, a car wash to get your fresh ride looking squeaky clean. There is a vacuum and air for your tires in the station for an additional cost. The customer service is always good, and the service is fast as to where you're in and out to continue your day.

I told him the screen is not showing that my purchase was approved. He looked at his screen and said it was approved without looking at me. Ok, so I go back out to my car and the screen was still frozen. I went back in and told him that. I also said "sorry to ask you to do your job". He said it's not my job to pump your gas. (not cool, I would lose my job if I said it's not my job). Then he said put the nozzle back in ... which I did. Came back inside again and told him I would just pay inside. He said it's not my fault you don't know how to pump gas. WHAT?! Overall the experience was frustrating and lacked any kind of customer service or professionalism. I considered talking to the manager, but I was afraid that would have no impact on the service ... so here we are.
