    Review for RCA Management - Bayonne, NJ (1 Star)…read more I am writing this review to warn others about the unprofessional and deeply offensive behavior I experienced at the hands of Robert Arnone, the owner of RCA Management in Bayonne, NJ. Approximately two weeks ago, I returned a phone call from Mr. Arnone regarding a plumbing issue that required access to the apartment--an apartment owned by my boyfriend. During this conversation, Mr. Arnone's tone quickly became hostile and inappropriate. Despite my calm demeanor, he began belittling me and made the outrageous comment that I "wasn't in the hood." Let me be crystal clear: I am a Black woman from Texas who has never lived in the hood, and his statement was not only inaccurate but also blatantly racist. When I questioned his attitude and tone, he escalated the situation by yelling and screaming at me over the phone--until I had no choice but to end the call. This level of disrespect and racial bias has no place in property management--or any profession, for that matter. I have already reported the incident and Mr. Arnone's disturbing language to the condo association board. It's important that the board, residents, and the public know exactly what kind of behavior this company condones at the very top. If you're considering hiring RCA Management, think twice. Professionalism, basic respect, and human decency are not part of the service they provide. I strongly urge anyone looking for a reliable property management company to look elsewhere--because RCA Management and Robert Arnone have no place in a diverse or respectful community.

    Avoid This Management Company!…read more I've never felt more unsafe in my own home due to the actions of this management company. Recently, an employee named Robert came to my apartment unannounced, banged on my door violently for over a minute, and yelled, "You need to open this door!" I was so terrified I was shaking. As a single woman living alone, I didn't open the door because his aggressive behavior made me fear for my safety. Later, I called the management company to find out why this happened, and Robert answered. He immediately started yelling at me, claiming he was coming back at 1 PM to remove my window AC units. When I said I wasn't comfortable with that, he dismissed my concerns, saying, "I don't care about your level of comfortability. You better get comfortable with it real quick, or you're going to get hit with thousands in fees." Even after I agreed to remove the AC units by the end of the day, he continued yelling, demanded I do it by 1 PM, and hung up on me. Never in my life have I been treated so unprofessionally or felt so intimidated in my own home. I don't deserve to be treated like this because I missed a couple of email notices saying that my AC units needed safety brackets installed. Just one phone call and I would have complied immediately. This company's behavior is uncalled for, unacceptable, unprofessional.

    ok so I don't really write reviews but felt like i should for these guys. I have 2 properties in NJ…read more(one in kearny area, one further out) and was having a really hard time keeping up with everything especially the compliance stuff which honestly goes over my head half the time. Someone referred me to RPPM and I called them kind of skeptical bc I've had bad experiences before with management companies that just take your money and don't really do much. But these guys are different. John was straight with me from the jump, explained everything they do, didn't oversell it. They handled some violation issues I had pending and I didn't have to stress about it. Communications with my tenants have been way more professional than when I was doing it myself lol. I used to just text my tenants which I know is not the right way to do it. Only thing I'd say is sometimes I wish they responded a little faster but honestly when they do get back to me everything is thorough and correct so I think its just they are busy and doing things right rather then rushing. Not really a complaint just something I noticed. Overall very happy. Would def recommend to other landlords in NJ especially if your portfolio is growing and you cant manage everything yourself anymore. 5 stars from me

    Be careful with Pontis Property Management!…read more We had an extremely concerning--and now very disappointing--experience with this company while applying for an apartment at Harbor Pointe in New Jersey, which they manage. On July 1st, the leasing agent, Briana, sent us what was supposed to be our application, but it actually belonged to another couple. This was a serious privacy breach. If they could send us someone else's personal information, how can we trust that ours wasn't mishandled as well? We immediately canceled our application and requested a refund. At first, Briana assured us our information was not compromised and confirmed we would receive a refund check within 10 days. That check never came. After Briana stopped responding, we spoke with two other staff members--both confirmed a refund was coming. Yet two months later, nothing. When we followed up again, we were told by another employee, Cinnamon, that we were not eligible for a refund because we canceled after 72 hours (we canceled on day 4, immediately after receiving the wrong documents). Even after explaining the situation and the privacy breach, she dismissed our concerns, refused to connect us with a supervisor, and repeated their "policy." When we asked what their policy is for mishandling applicants' private information, she had no answer. This company has shown us they are careless with sensitive data, inconsistent in communication, and unwilling to take responsibility for their mistakes. If you value your privacy and your money, stay far away from Harbor Pointe (NJ) and Pontis Property Management.

Communication has been absolutely nonexistent - no one responds to emails. This has been incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I do not recommend dealing with this company.
