This place opened last year I believe & we have received great service. The staff has gone above & beyond to repare our car & find disounts that we could use immediately. We head here when we can't do the work ourselves. It's clean,on the inside & the servicing area,the restroom are as well. The service tech really impressed us when he had to remove a rusted bolt that required a hell of a lot of torque,Thomas is the man!!! Elgin was great at helping us at the counter & remembered us when we returned & treated us very well. I appreciate a business that doesn't try to overcharge for something you don't need. They let you know if they see something that might need attention in the future but don't hassle you to get it done. My daughter got some new tires that they had to order for her vehicle. Whenever she picked it up with her mom she noticed that the rear wheel trim had damage on both sides. We reported but it was denied. After she left she realized that her moon roof had been tampered with and would Not close. We had a representative from Firestone who came to look at her vehicle to get a visual on the damages. Only to get rejected for a claim against Firestone. Prior to this episode they rotated her tires only to crack her 2 rear wheel hubs. Had to order from the dealer. Would not matter if it was free I probably never do any business here. Note to self: video the whole outside of your vehicle and tires to make sure damage has not been done to your vehicle !!! read more

I will never give Firestone business again. I had a flat tire about a mile away on my job-site. I pumped my tire up to 60psi with my compressor & drove it over as all I needed was a patch due to a nail. When I got there they only had one car in there bays, I asked the service tech to pull the truck in before the tire went flat again or please let know me before they pull it in & I will air it up again as it holds air for about 20min. After sitting in the lobby for an hour & half , I look out side & the service tech is driving my f350 (heavy a$$ truck) on the rim with the tire completely flat. I asked for manager, spoke with him and expressed my frustration & questioned him why his tech would not just air tire up before pulling it in. Asked who is going to pay for my 500$ tire when it is torn up on the sidewalls. All his response was is "it should be fine, driving on the rim won't damage your tire" 2 hours later. They are still working on patching the nail in my tire. Absolute joke of a company & BS management. I hope all locations aren't as bad as this place. I would have 100% fixed it myself if I know it would be this bad. read more

Do not go to this location. Went there for a simple tire change after having a flat on the side of 45.. When I got there I was informed I would be waiting atleast 4 hours or until closing time to have the service complete, the front desk told me they were "backed up" yet only had 1 person in the lobby waiting. I proceeded to change my own front tire in their parking lot, you would think with the poor customer service they would offer some type of assistance. I called to get my tires rotated, they told me to come by, I got there around 3:35, the guy told me that there was one car in front of mine and he was finishing an oils change, at 5:20 I asked for my keys and left. Around 4:45 I looked in to the working area and 4 guys were just talking and no one working. What kind of stuff is that? Today was around 80° with low humidity so it wasn't real hot at all. When I asked the guy for my keys he knew, he handed me my keys and didn't say one word. I got in my car and left. I'm never going back there. read more

Made an appointment online in the morning for Saturday for flat repair (nail in tire). Got there a little early and they had cancelled it online without notification. When I asked if I could get seen, since I did have an appointment to start with, she told me it would be end of day (6pm) and it was 2:30pm. When I thanked her and said I would figure something else out (my only day off from the hospital) she told me there was another location I could go to nearby. I know that place, its worse. The guy hit on my daughter the last time we sent her, texted her after she had left even though there was no need to be in touch. And she is engaged. On top of overselling things the car didn't need because they were already replaced. Over firestone for a while. I miss the personal connection we used to have. On May 13, 2020, my dad took his Volvo in for ADDITIONAL repairs (after Firestone messed up the first time) and left the car overnight. The next day, he got a call from the general manager that he was so sorry, someone had COME INTO THE STORE, RIFLED THROUGH THE UNATTENDED COUNTER, TOOK THE KEYS TO MY DAD'S VOLVO, WALKED OUT TO THE BAY, and DROVE OFF WITH OUR CAR. The GM let us know he had called the police to report the theft, and since then, all we've heard from Firestone corporate is complete garbage. They refused to help until I posted a negative comment on one of their posts, and are now maintaining a stance that they cannot be held liable because the situation is "out of their control," BUT have offered us $500 to sign paperwork releasing them of responsibility and "let this incident go." They've refused to offer any real assistance, refunds, or even a reasonable explanation. We've talked to a couple of different higher-ups, and they all have the same idiotic bs to say. Please DON'T take your money here!!!!!!! It's not worth it if your car will get stolen from under their noses and they won't do anything about it!!!!! read more

Took my truck here for an oil change and to have the brakes looked at. Got there early for my 10:00 appointment and they pulled it up on the lift right away, started out great. They did a vehicle inspection for free(which most places do when you order a service from them). Found some things wrong with the truck of course and I opted to only have an oil change and fuel filter replaced. My truck was in the bay for 4.5 hours. 4.5 hours later and 400 dollars later, my truck was finished. A job I could've and should've done myself for about 100 bucks and maybe an hour of time, took these "skilled professionals" more than 4 times the amount of time to complete. They also came in and advised me the reason my check engine light was on was because the fuel filter sensor had a broken wire and this has to be replaced for another 45 bucks. Not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure they broke it. The wire was in tact the last time I changed the fuel filter myself. I have a code reader and it's not the fuel filter sensor causing it the check engine light. Also while waiting and looking in the bay, quite a few employees just standing around doing nothing. They charge out the a** for labor for their workers to hang out for half the time your vehicle is on the lift. I knew the truck had a tire with low pressure and they didn't even fill it up. Truck went up and down on the lift at least 3 times that I saw, there's really no reason for this. Only reason they even get 1 star is because the customer service guy up front was nice, otherwise it'd be 0. Waisted my whole day sitting in the waiting room for something that should take 1.5 hours tops. Kinda scares me if they even know what they're doing, especially because they decided to rev the engine loud enough for me to hear the turbo spin from the waiting room right after the oil change! The manager even walked down there multiple times, so he knew the truck was there for that long! Will never take my vehicle here again and I advise you do the same! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE UPDATE: After arguing with the manager today about how the filter was never changed they finally realized their tech messed up and put the old filter back on. They made it right and refunded everything, and are still putting on a new filter. Still.....be cautious and make sure the work is done correctly if you decide to give them your business. read more

If Mr. Firestone himself is still around he would be very disappointed in what the company has become. "I believe the foundation of a good business is honesty" or some inspirational jargon like that. FALSE! I took my car in for some repairs, get the bill (~$1,000), and pay. I then take the invoice to my trusted mechanic only for him to leave the room in disgust after seeing the insane price scamming going on. He told me I was charged over 6x what the parts cost. But thanks for the $5 off the inspection I didn't ask for. :) SERIOUSLY DON'T GO NEAR THIS PLACE. All to get a call after 4 that they have not even looked at my car yet??!! Really upset with the poor customer service here. I even asked if they could just drive me across the freeway so that I could walk home safely. Nope. Got a coupon for a $19.99 synthetic blend oil change up to 5 qts. I have a 2002 Toyota 4 runner which uses 5 and 1/2 QTS. Called and they set up an appointment for later in the afternoon. Came in 10 minutes prior to my appointment and I was immediately acknowledged by the friendly staff. Gave staff my coupon and paid a $25 plus tax for 5 and 1/2 qts. Handed keys to staff and my car was serviced in 20 minutes. The employee, Daniel, was really nice and helpful. He did not pressure me into any other unneeded services. Although they did notice my battery needed to be clean due to corrosion build up. They offered a free alignment check which I agreed to, in order to see how off my alignment was, even though at this time I was not noticing anything yet. Came back with alignment results and didn't look too bad and got quote to do it at a later date. The shop was nice and clean. Bathroom was nice and clean as well. They offered free coffee while I waited. Overall great professional service with friendly courteous staff. Will come back again for my next oil change and alignment when they're due. read more

Here's a tip. When you spend 3 hours on a job maybe do more than drive it around the Home Depot parking lot to see if something's amiss. Why would you cut the corner after all the work you put in? I want my 3 hours & $800 back. We were traveling across Texas and needed what we thought was alignment. (Fairly inexpensive job $80). After further examination we were told 2 new tires (fine. done.) and new wheel bearing was needed in front left side. It was a $650 (labor included) We travel a lot. Trusted their word as it did make sense with all the shaking of the front end & the van pulled hard to the right. We drove one day (continuing our travels) while at toll stop we noticed front wheel (left where bearing was replaced) made a sound and we had trouble accelerating momentarily. Our ABS light on the dashboard came on. Called this Firestone and they gave us directions for the closest one to us about 45 min away. It's a crappy way to spend a day of vacation. They called the new place and said they were expecting us & they'll fix it for "free". Don't you mean you'll fix it for the $880 we already have you to fix it? Too bad we don't get to go back to the Firestone that all this originated from. I'd like to at least like to give the good old boys a piece of my mind. Maybe this review will. Again we're all human but it baffles me that you'd spend so much time on fixing something only to "test" it with a 2 min low mph drive around the parking lot. UPDATE: fella here at new place had NOT talked to the guys in Webster & said it would be a few hours till he could get to it. I only put the one star because I have to! On 2 occasions this location has disappointed me and tried to cheat me out of my money! Last week I went in to try and get my accelerator fixed, but they wanted to charge almost $500. I went to another Firestone just a few miles away, and they only charged me about $375. Today, I went back to this firestone to get my emergency brake checked after failing a state inspection. They told me the cables needed replacing, and it would cost $770. I decided to get a second opinion. Turns out, the cables are in great condition and just needed a little adjusting which is very common for the model vehicle I drive (mustang). I ended up paying this firestone $60 for them to tell me a bunch of bs and attempt to get me to pay even more in order to repair something that didn't need repairing! Will not be returning here! I would like to update my review which I post around 3 months ago on the Firestone located in Webster off the Gulf freeway...finally was able to take my car to my normal auto services center. Within 30 minutes of dropping my car off the they called and said the horrible noise my car was making was because the pulley was bent...Note: I did not even tell them anything about the service Firestone did... on the 6 trip to Firestone I ask is it a possibility that they bent my pulley when they replaced the belt and I was told NO WAY and if it was then it was bent before they started working on my car. I left car still making horrible noises for three months till I could set money aside to take somewhere else to get fix correctly... Firestone also did breaks work and yes there are major issues with that still .... when coming to a stop my breaks have a pulsing sensation....hope to be able to have that looked at soon by anyone other than Firestone....Please be very cautious when dealing with Firestone...one last note daughter took my 2009 Dodge to get oil changed and tires rotated at a dealership near her college campus...the service ppl called her to the desk and ask where was the last oil change done She told them and called me which I confirmed - Firestone in Webster --services personal told her they are having issues getting oil filter off because it was put on too tight and wrong!!!! This location in Webster, TX needs to back off on the upselling & read their huge Firestone sign on their wall that touts honesty. Overview: We went in for a tire repair, which they said they could NOT fix, only AFTER we'd refused to buy their shopping list of other upsell garbage. Details: The 2 yr old SUV my hubby uses for commute to office ended up with a screw in the tire. It happens. I'd called our regular independent Firestone store (downtown Friendswood) and they were backed up. I'd then contacted this location and they said we could get right in. We'd arrived, dropped vehicle, asked for future quote (suv only 2 years old) and walked to adjacent store. Upon return, they had our suv inside, but not looking at the tire...they were messing around under the hood, with our lights, etc. My husband had intended to go into the office once this was completed!! I asked what they were doing with battery cables and not looking at the tire.... The girl behind the desk did not know. Once she'd returned from checking, they had a list of other things from their "Free safety check" which they thought needed completion. BUT, they had NOT even checked the tire yet!! What?? When we turned down the shopping list of Extras they wanted to sell us, they THEN checked the tire and said it could not be repaired, we would have to purchase one. Heh, I don't think so. Even if the tire could not be repaired, that should have been reviewed first...not attempting to make the consumer spend $$ and time on all manner of other items. If you do not want to do a tire repair, state that when the customer contacts!! We took our vehicle and dropped it at our original Firestone--in Friendswood, which for the record, even suggested we might be able to get the tire covered under warranty if we went to Discount Tire as they carried that brand. We said, "no", we liked the Friendswood Firestone location. We went ahead and just purchased a tire anyway, rather than mess with it, at this point. I paid for lifetime alignment which leads me to believe that is why they did a rush/sloppy job on my truck! Don't let "ETHAN" the sales rep bullshit you about why the repairs you have paid for in advance are not done right the first time! I ended up leaving and taking my truck to the deer park location where they fixed the issue right the FIRST time! Idk maybe their alignment tech at the Webster location does not have the experience, as I'd does take a seasoned alignment tech to be able to dial in a vehicle the right way! And not just slap on a set of reflectors and click "next" it also seems that every bullshiting sakes rep have the same answer, "needs new tires" BEWARE!!! nice and polite at first at this location but in the end they will ALWAYS feed you bullshit and convince you with lies! read more

Would highly recommend this Firestone! Our alternator went out on our car and my husband an I were stranded with our 3 small kids (5,4&2) around 5:30 Saturday and we were an hour from home. They didn't have our alternator in stock and wouldn't be able to get in until the following morning. We needed to get home but we have no family or friends within driving distance that could come get us, rental car places were already closed. The taxi places we called said they couldn't accommodate 3 car seats, we even called Uber! So we were stranded with 3 small kids. By this point we were sitting at the Chick-fil-a next door so the kids could play while my husband made phone calls and I was crying my eyes out when Chance from Firestone comes in and tells us that the airport has 24hr car rental places and that Hobby was only 20 minutes away and he would get All OF US to the airport to get a rental. AMAZING! Chance then let us know that he will have our vehicle fixed as soon as they got the part in the next day and call us when our car is ready. Davonna another employee then drove me, my husband and 3 kids to the airport and by this time is was after 7'oclock so she took time from her own life to get my family to the airport to get a rental. Chance and Davonne went ABOVE AND BEYOUND to help us in a very stressful situation and we are so thankful for them both! They both honestly deserve to be recognized for their good deed. They were both so very kind to us and our kids and we will never forget that! Thank you both!
