I came in several months ago and purchased a lifetime alignment. Service was excellent and staff was friendly. I also had two nails/screws in my tires and they fixed/plugged the tires for free! Today, I came in for an oil change, alignment, and rotate and balance. I came in with the wrong kind of oil change coupon, but they found another coupon for me! Turns out I need new tires. Everything was explained to me and I was happy with the tire sale they had going on as well. Service was excellent and staff was friendly. Their shop has been busy both times I visited and I had to wait several hours to get everything completed. Unfortunately, I couldn't seem to get their wi-fi to work for me. So I spent 1,000 on my tires and got the road Hazzard protection,on family trip I stopped at this location for flat repair,I was told to busy and no time to get to it,it was 10am and was told to get hotel cause it would not be fixed until the following day,it then called corporate firestone and they called the store,the counter guy lied and said he could fix late in the day,I then went to Midas and they helped me in record time to get my family trip back in the road,steer clear of this location they know nothing about taking care of their customers,will never purchase from Firestone again... read more

Oil change was ok, but not sure why the appointment was necessary if the car isn't even going to get in on time or close to that time. Maybe when making the appointment if you know it's going to be busy you let us know or even say when it's dropped off it could be awhile because 1hr and 45min is kinda long for an oil change. read more

Had an 11 am appointment for a simple tire change. Took them almost 4 hours to complete. A simple tire change takes an hour maybe 2 tops. But 4 hours! I did not have any other means of transportation other then my truck so I wasted my entire day waiting for a tire change! Stay away from this place if you don't want your time wasted. I went to Firestone because they were open with this virus. Once inside of the building I notice no chairs, I asked where the chairs are since it takes about forty minutes at best for an oil change. The owners didn't want people sitting down within six feet of one another and took the chairs out, this manager is talking to me without a MAST, NO MAST ON HIS FACE! I point this out to him, water off a duck's back. They found a nail stick in my tire in an area they told they couldn't fix. I went to Discount Tire to get the tire fix. Discount Tire pull the nail out and since there was no leaking of air, I was good to go and they had chairs six feet apart. I will never go to Firestone for an oil change, much less for anything else, I just won't go there, it isn't worth my time and they don't care about their customers since they had no seating. read more

I've been here a grand total of 5 times and each and every time serves as a reminder of how stupid I must be to go back. Last year while shopping for a set of tires for my 2012 VW Passat I decided I wanted a set of Firestone Precision Touring tires. The Firestone store would have to be the cheapest, right? WRONG!!! They were well over $100 more expensive for a set of four than Walmart. They then offered to price match Wally World... They shouldn't have to price match a competitor that sells their product! Different experience, I waited for over 3 hours for an alignment on my 1993 Buick Roadmaster! That is absolutely crazy! Latest experience: While helping my neighbor get a set of tires on her car, we discovered that there were very few tire stores open on Sunday. They needed tires ASAP as the tire was not repairable and they needed the car for work the next day. Walmart, Costco, and Goodyear were the only other options. I didn't like the tires that Walmart had in stock (but I could have special ordered the ones I liked). Costco was booked solid all day, and Goodyear didn't have the right size in stock. I knew from my previous experiences that Firestone would be crazy expensive, but they sell a quality product so I decided to take my punches and spend way too much money. We were told that it would take roughly an hour and 15 minutes to change the tires. After an hour and 15 minutes we were told that they didn't have the tires in stock that they said they had. That's fine, mistakes happen... It just shouldn't take an hour and 15 minutes to discover this. To add insult to injury, it took another 45 minutes just to get the vehicle back. Holy Spumoni!!! That is ridiculous! We ended up going to Costco and got a set of Michelin's (the best touring tire on the road) for less than Firestone's price for a set of good Bridgestone's. Costco had us in and out in 35 minutes from start to finish. Firestone, go fix yourself!!! The 2 other times I've been here were for my lifetime alignment service on two other vehicles. I have no complaints on the other times. read more

I paid extra for the lifetime balance and tire alignments after getting new tires. I left the shop and that afternoon driving on the highway, I had my car pulling hard to the left and then shaking.. Took the car back and expressed how upset I was, the front desk guy said I won't charge you this time... Even though they didn't do their job the first time plus I paid for the lifetime deal. Knowledgeable, friendly, fast, reasonably priced, and above all, honest. These guys do good work without trying to get you to buy new headlight fluid, rotate the air in your tires, or tell you that you need a catalytic converter belt. As a matter of fact, they actually referred me to another shop because they said the other shop could take care of my problem faster and cheaper. When I was shopping for tires, I told them that I found a better price online. They not only matched it, but ended up beating the price by a few bucks. Beware of "hidden" charges! Firestone of Silverdale may have been listed as the cheapest option, for my area, BUT they tried to tack on several extra dollars. Tirebuyer invoice stated "Additional Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) service may be required: $5.00 per tire" Firestone of Silverdale charged $%.99 per tire and stated that it was a mandatory service, each time a wheel/tire was changed. When asked if it was a state or Firestone mandate, the clerk took a long pause, before stating that it is a Firestone mandate. Firestone of Silverdale also added a $12.50 "shop fee" for "paper and plastic" I showed the clerk my email receipt with the $5.00 per tire and he reduced the fee from $5.99 per wheel to $5.00 per wheel. I told him that the "shop fee" was cheesy and he removed it. All this to say; look over the itemized invoice, prior to paying. You just may find some unwanted surprises. I had an appointment for 11:00. My car did not enter the shop until approximately 11:30. I wonder what the appointment reservation actually does. It took about 3 hours for installation of four tires and an alignment. I wonder how long it would have taken had I not had an "appointment" read more

I had a oil change and tune up and it costed over 500 dollars which just kinda feft like a rip off I also asked the guy if he could get it done by 3:30 because i had work that day, he told me have it all ready to go by, 3:45 at the latest its now 4:19 and I don't even see someone working on my car so they let me down big time. I took time off my busy work schedule and went there 30 minutes early for my appointment and was denied service. They claim my car was "too low" due to a factory installed front lip and being lowered .5". It's not low at all. There are many cars from the factory that are lower than mine. I went directly to Les Schwab. They looked at it and said i wouldn't be a problem at all and "may" have to use wood blocks. I told them I was denied service at Firestone in Silverdale and they weren't surprised as they heard they "don't like imports" there or the techs were being lazy or both. I then went to the Firestone in Bremerton and they said it wouldn't be a problem either. They have the same type of rack. Hmm. When making an appointment online, the website should note that they don't service modified vehicles. read more

They're experts at Tires, alignments, brakes, & oil changes. Often times they will meet or beat other competitors prices on tires. Their road hazard program is really good and the salesmen at this location are not pushy and are very knowledgeable. Anything else needing to be done to your vehicle can be done by a local shop or dealer for the same price or less. read more

We have had a range of service done from oil changes to alignment. I even asked them to fix a electric window regulator in a Nissan Titan that was fussy. They found the replacement part and even added a piece of trim that I forgot to put on when I initially tore into the problem. I will never take a vehicle there again. We took our Durango there for a full inspection after it threw a code and the check engine light came on. They said they did a full inspection and cleared the code and it was ok to drive but was leaking power steering fluid. COME TO FIND OUT THEY DIDNT DO ANYTHING. It had ZERO transmission fluid in it and was also leaking fluid. In their report they said they checked all fluids but we got it back empty. Good to know they took our money while doing zero work. Firestone in Silverdale, WA has been our go to place for auto care for quite a few years now. The staff are always very friendly, knowledgeable and funny! :) The time to get our vehicle back to us has always been within very reasonable time frame and if it has taken longer than expected, staff us kept us up to date on the happenings and why. I have heard that Firestone is expensive but for the quality of service and they way that they back their workmanship, I wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Great staff that really took care of the problems I had. I went in for an "alignment for life" after I replaced some steering components. They did the alignment and let me know of some other things that needed to be replaced. I replaced those as well but still had some popping when I turned. I went back to them to see what else it could be that was causing problems. They did a courtesy inspection and pointed me in the direction of what to fix next without charging me anything. SCAM ARTIST ALERT Do not take your car to firestone for anything but tires, these guys are SHADY. I took my car in because I could not brake, firestone told me my master brake cylinder is shot, my hoses are leaking(mabe), and my brakes were metal to metal. They tallied up my bill to about 1,000 and tried to KEEP my car in there lot until work could be afforded. After arguing with the staff, I drove my car off to my mechanic who told me my brake pads are fine, my master cylinder is fine, but I have 1 hose leaking, $200 fix. I come to this firestone in the pass 12 years for all my car services needed. They have a good and bad services. Sometime they forgot to put back the oil cap after the oil change, forgot to tighten up a spark plug after a tune up, but I'm not a complaint person so I never say anything about it. But they make me up set this time by dishonest on the coupon. They sent me a $30 coupon value, if I spend $50 or more they will take off $30. I came there for my car service and the total was about $46, my car still need a license plate light bulb which may be $10 more , a rear wiper that will make it more than $50 so I can use my $30 discount but the guy work in there tried to talk me out doesn't want to do it, he find excuses not to let me use the $30 voucher, I'm a business person myself , $30 doesn't mean anything to me, I spent about $1500/year in their shop but not any more from now on. I still come in there for my car services because I already paid for lifetime packages there but not anything else I don't expect discount or free services but please be honest when you are in business. read more

The staff has proven to me time after time that they are an honest repair shop. I trust them to work on my vehicle and my daughters vehicle all while giving me an honest cost of repairs every time. In a recent emergency they were slammed and were able to stay a little late after closing to make sure my daughter had 2 new tires to drive safely home. I have been a Firestone customer for 30 years, will never shop there again. Wanted to buy tires for two vehicles this month, the first car's engine caught on fire three days after picking up the car. They diagnosed the car and quoted me a repair cost of $2800, we absolutely couldn't afford that, we trailered the car to a friends house, he was able to fix the car for $100, and it is running perfectly the check engine light is even off. The second car is newer and has never missed an oil change or routine maintenance. Wanted new tires and brakes evaluated. Through miscommunication, they were going to charge me $2300, for repairs I didn't personally authorize. I feel they tried to take advantage of my lack of knowledge about cars, at one point in our argument, the man condescendingly called me "Hon." I have never written a review before of anything, but I am incredibly frustrated with their unethical shenanigans. read more
