We had a bearing replaced on the front of my wife's car. She took her car back the Sheboygan Firestone store and they listened to it and without checking anything said it was fine. Well, the next day the wheel fell off. Good thing she was stopping at the time wheel fell off. Because at a high rate of speed this could have been deadly. Now they are billing us because they claim that the bearing didn't fall off so they did nothing wrong. read more

I had a tire that was leaking air. Called for an appt and Jeremy got me an appt for the next morning. The tire was not easy to remove. The seal around the rim was damaged. It was fixed and continues to hold air. Two lug nuts needed to be replaced. I was not charged for them because they were spares. I have had alignments done with great satisfaction. Firestone in Sheboygan does a great job. I will continue to use the services they offer as needed for my jeep renegede. Highly recommended. read more

far and away the worst mechanic experience i've had in my life. my car slides on some ice and hits a curb on the way into town to visit family, messing up the alignment. i take it here and they chipperly tell me it'll cost over $1000 and can't get the part for two days. so my partner and i have to lose a day of work while we wait but hey, that's life sometimes. two days later and after no communication all day, they finally call an hour before close because they ordered the wrong part and it'll be another day, with no explanation for why it took 11 hours to figure that out. faced with the prospect of my partner and i each missing another day of work, a family member graciously lets us borrow their car to drive home two hours away, a better prospect than more waiting and hoping that this estimate isn't a lie. the next morning they call and say it's done, so i finish my work and sneak out early to drive back before they close. they throw in a tiny discount, refuse to show me an invoice until after i pay, and show me the door. within less than five minutes on the road i can tell that while the alignment is fixed, there's still something wrong as the right side of the car is making a loud humming noise and vibrating a lot. i don't have time to bring it back there, as i still need to drive two hours home to work the next day (and they close in an hour), so i continue home. after leaving a negative review on google, i'm reached out to by bridgestone support. i tell them the story again, they take my info and say i should get a call from the manager here within two days. a full 32 DAYS later, nothing. the vibrating in my car is bad enough that i drive it as little as possible. i take it to an actual mechanic and they quickly find the issue, there are three wheel bearings that need replacing. they seem dumbfounded that firestone didn't notice these but at this point, i am completely unsurprised they dropped the ball that much. finally today, i call this store back and spent 30 minutes on the phone with a manager who did little more than audibly shrug. they claim to have called me (they didn't) and never heard about this experience until today (nope) and never looked at the wheel bearings when inspecting the car (what). no resolution! the people at firestone see you as nothing more than big bags of money they can shake open and leave you with a still broken car. read more

On January 27, 2024, I had my 2018 Lexus RC 350 serviced at Firestone. Subsequently, upon opening the hood of my vehicle during an oil change on April 6, 2024, it was discovered that the engine cover was cracked in multiple places and was not properly secured, indicating mishandling during the service. I promptly reported this damage to Firestone on the same day I discovered it. Despite providing clear evidence and documentation, including photographic proof of the damage and my account of the incident, Firestone has repeatedly refused to accept responsibility for the damage caused to my vehicle. Instead, they have attempted to shift blame by referencing an oil change performed by another service facility subsequent to their own service. However, it is evident from the photographs that the damage occurred during Firestone's service, as indicated by the presence of dust on the engine cover and the unnecessary nature of removing the cover for an oil change. Despite my efforts to resolve this matter amicably, Firestone has failed to acknowledge their responsibility and provide appropriate compensation for the damages incurred. Their refusal to accept liability is not only unjust but also indicative of a lack of accountability and customer care. If you want someone to care for your car and treat it with respect.... This is not the place to visit. read more

Bad labors. Horrible customer service. Purchase 2 sets of tires for 2 vehicles. One rims got damaged ( after new tires were installed) . Want to charge us an arm for the damages they caused. Lead management refuses to return any requests call backs, and never available when we do get through. Never take responsibility for damages done to my rims nor even care. BEWARE YOUR VEHICLE WILL GET DAMAGES AND THEY DON'T CARE!!! THEY WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY EITHER!!! Will not go to this firestone ever again!! read more

what a bunch of crooks, my son had 2 break jobs done to his car here 1000 miles apart, the second time they had to replace the rotors also. I don't know if it was screwed up by the mechanic the first time or what. I would not let this place touch a baby stroller. be careful they will screw you over. read more

We had a very weird situation with a flat tire while visiting from out of town and trying to make a tee time at Whistling Straits. I called and spoke with Sara(h) on the phone and she was very friendly and accommodating. Although they couldn't repair our tire, they were able to replace it and we were able to arrange to pick up our vehicle after we golfed (and after they were closed even). They called to explain what was needed and we were able to pay over the phone. Great service. Would highly recommend this place. Thanks! read more

I've been a Firestone customer in Sheboygan for years. Made an appointment for 4pm to have winter tires put on the car. They didn't pull my car in to the shop until 4:45, and didn't tart work on it until 5PM. When asked why it wasn't started at the appointment time, the employee offered the following excuses: -"it's not due till 6PM". Which didn't answer my question -"they're working on it". They weren't, and he still didn't answer my question. -"we have a lot of appointments". I don't care about other appointments, and still didn't answer my question. I then asked, "is there a manager I can speak with"? Employee: "nope". I won't ever be back. This isn't the first time they've started a job later than the appointment time. Store manager Jeremy Krause is dropping the ball. Too bad, used to be a great place to have the car serviced. Firestone changed locations recently. Their new location is newly built and looks great. I bought a lifetime alignment on my roadster with Firestone a while back, so I very rarely have to pay for anything when I go there. That being said, they are always very helpful and attentive to my needs even though I am not spending a lot of money. The technicians always try to match my requested alignment settings the best they can and they are very professional. I have a dash cam behind the mirror in my car and I have never seen them mistreat my vehicle. The odometer never reads more than a mile more than when I dropped it off. read more

When I first checked in I was approached by Amy, explained the scheduled appt for an oil change and tire rotation (care package and/or inspections not discussed) she reviewed and stated a synthetic blend oil change and tire rotation then? I stated yes, and I handed over my keys. No pricing was discussed, except for her stating there was an online coupon (which I had printed out if she needed it) indicating the $27.99 synthetic blend oil change. I knew the care package for $9.99 included the tire rotation, but she was going to charge me the $22.32 anyways (so I planned on bringing that up later, because Ofcourse I didn't think about it during our first interaction. Also, when I checked in and asked if I knew the sub model and I do, another female from behind says "wow! She knows it!"... why wouldn't I? Assuming because I'm female I wouldn't?) As my keys were handed over she takes them with the paperwork to the back (no paperwork or verification of service paperwork was given to me, I'm not sure if that's being done anymore) and she came back up front and called autozone for an oil filter (why this wasn't done before my arrival is beyond me). Over an hour and 15min and she comes up front and calls autozone about the filter for the renegade doesn't fit. And autozone doesn't have one. So before she walks in back again, I ask her "so what's going on?", Amy replies that the oil filter doesn't fit and it most likely going To be a dealer only part. I ask her then why wasn't the part ordered before I arrived? She says it was (no it wasn't, you called autozone after I handed you my keys), And walks in back again. 35 minutes go by, no updates. I ask her again, if she had an ETA, she says probably another 15 minutes and now says "sorry". I ask her again in 15 more minutes, "did they atleast have the oil filter here?" She says yes they are almost finished. Now I'm checking out and the price stated was above $90! I ask why/ how is this $90? She says the oil change and tire rotation which she gave for free for my patience she says. I ask to see her paperwork. The paperwork's states this was a full synthetic oil change. I ask why wasn't this discussed with me before? And am I no longer required to sign paperwork before service? She says "we now do verbal approvals" (which is fine if you can appropriately communicate services and pricing). I said then why did you say "synthetic blend oil change when you checked me in?", the other female employee says behind me because the Jeep requires the 0w30. Which is also fine if this was all talked about before!. So I say okay, just please check me out. Amy says okay this is what I'll do, and as she is figuring it out I noticed the paperwork I still have from her pile of paperwork I asked to see states the original order says tire rotation and wheel balance? I ask her why did they balance my tires? I did not want that. She inevitably deletes the rotation and balance and just puts the tire rotation on there at no cost. (Which we know is also a reduction of labor for the technician that actually did the work and now I have no proof the balance was done if I have issues going forward). I checked out, and left. I'm extremely disappointed in this service. A simple appointment turned into over two hours of continuous miscommunication (or none at all, except when prompted), an oil change with parts not ordered at appropriate times, services were done that were not approved, cost was never discussed until actual asking for payment and it took an hour and a half for the employee to even say sorry!. Setting aside the upset attitude I currently have with this employee, I would definitely look into more training and customer service training modules for her. The way she communicated with people even walking in asking questions was less than meeting standard care requirements. Everyone has bad days and experiences, but please do not follow them into your interactions with customers. read more
