Lured by the sign on the building touting "Firestone Complete Auto Care" upon entering the building I was met by an endomorphic lass who was tending the front desk. I related to the woman that it had been roughly 50,000 miles since I last had my transmission fluid and coolant flushed and replaced and that I would like a quote for this service. Instead of being asked the usual questions regarding my vehicle, my inquiry was rebuffed with a terse "we don't do that because we don't wanna break your motor". Stunned, I replied that perhaps I misunderstood exactly what the meaning of the phrase "complete auto care" meant. Great service - available on the weekends. I needed asap service on my car since my work commute is so horrendous. I was initially quoted a price for the services needed, and then quoted another price upon inspection of my car. For this inconvenience, they made my service worth it. As a repeat customer, I cannot believe Firestone would pull the old bate and switch. I ordered tires last month and told the guy the tire size and he said he would be able to get that correct size in at 10:00 am today. Well I dropped off my wife's truck and got a call at 1:00 pm saying cannot find those tires in the correct size anywhere in this entire southeast Wisconsin. But if she gets on a payment plan she can get the correct tires for double the quote he gave me a month ago. The price went from 700.00 to over 1400.00. I went directly across the street to discount tires and got a better tire, better price, better warranty and better customer service. Way to go Firestone, you completely lost my business. And just a FYI, I have 4 vehicles that I would have kept in Firestone tires but never again will I deal with Firestone on Washington Ave... read more

Place is not even worth a one star review. So we got our oil changed, simple enough right? Well I noticed that I was leaking oil on my driveway and not just a little oil, but we had puddles of oil. Took it back over to Firestone and they said it was now fixed. Everything seemed fine for a couple of weeks until this past weekend when I started noticing oil again and so this time said screw it took it to the dealership, explained the situation to them. Well it was found that whoever did the oil change at Firestone used the incorrect oil filter which was causing the leak. The entire bottom of the car had to be cleaned as there was oil everywhere. If they cant handle an oil change I would not trust them to do any major work. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

Long time customer and the last few years the level of experience, professionalism and communication has become awful. The indifference and lack of accountability is appauling. Aug 11 I had my car in for inspection & repair for a front left shimy with hard braking. No major issues found however the left cv boot was torn and so I agreed to have it replaced sooner than later to avoid more extensive damages. I was notified that during the repair the abs sensor was damaged and that a new one was being ordered and expected to arrive August 15. Date came & went as did the following 2 days. All days I had to call for updates from the shop. On Thursday the 17th #6 days after they damaged the abs sensor) we were told "We need to order the right part" The part came in on Saturday and we dropped the vehicle off for "quick repair". That turned into an all day affair. We called at 4pm for an update and we're told 15 minutes. After 5pm we received a call letting us know the vehicle was ready. Upon pickup I asked the sales manager for an explanation of the situation and was told "I guess they didn't make it a priority". Also told that "don't take this the wrong way but we have a lot of customers". When I went to recap my frustrations said sales manager busied himself shuffling papers and avoided any additional interactions. Of course the manager was gone for the day. That and the original issue of shimmy with hard braking is still happening. read more

Historically have gone here for some misc work, so called for an estimate for a headlight bulb fix....$99 plus parts! Was able to take to a locally owned place who did the 15 minute job at no cost and they used the bulb I bought locally, they understand the value of a loyal customer. FYI I offered to pay but they said no as it was a simple fix. Firestone pricing is out of whack, the only good news is they are upfront of their grossly inflated pricing. read more

This used to be a great shop but its declined to the point where I will never go back again. Set an appointment ahead of time, bring your car and be prepared to wait all day or even next day before anything gets done. I brought my car in for a simple tire repair/replacement at the appointed time and hours later they still hadn't even looked at it. When I went inside the woman told me they were busy because a sale was going on. When I told her I made an appointment ahead of time I got an "oh well" response. The same response I got when I asked for my keys back and told her I wouldn't be returning. Previously I went there for a diagnostic and they told me I needed a catalytic converter replaced. They didn't have the parts and said they would order them and then I could bring the car in for repair. Parts came I made an appointment to bring it in when they opened at 7. Dropped it off, went to work, got off at 5 and had to wait another hour in the shop while they finished it. When it was done it was a bit noisier than before but I accepted it because I was sick of waiting. I've never had the quick turnaround that people in other reviews talk about. Parts I could pick up at Autozone down the street take them days to get. That would be fine if the work done was of a high quality, but its not. Parking brake line now dangles after a repair job, I've lost 2 wheel hub covers from them because they don't put them back on tightly and there's a grab bag of mismatched lug nuts on my tires. Also it seems that you're always paying extra for stripped or broken bolts or bleeder screws with every repair. That's really the point of my dissatisfaction with this location. Even with an appointment it may take days to do even a simple tire repair. They don't honor their appointments and the work is adequate at best. Don't be surprised to hear "we'd like to keep it for a day or two" while walk ins seem to take precedence over appointment work. I love the Firestone brand and I'll find another shop to do my work. I would never go to this location again or recommend it to friends and family. read more

My husband and I have been taking our cars here for oil changes and tires for several years. They have the basics down and the guys are always super nice. We did have some major work done a few times on one of our older cars. Usually it turned out ok, but there was the time that I went to pick up the car and when I went to start the car, it wouldn't turn over. FAIL! I think my favorite part about Firestone is the Firestone card. It makes oil changes so cheap, it is more affordable then doing it at home! This place is a complete joke. They charge $100 to tell you why your check engine light is on. Instead of opting for that, I decided to get it done for free elsewhere. When I arrived at Firestone stating I know the code and what is potentially wrong with my car as another company ran the code, the customer service rep laughed at me. How unprofessional is that? When I scheduled my appointment they asked me if I could be there at 7:00am 7-3-17 which I replied yes . When I arrived at 6:59am lights were off customer service area dark . I could see someone inside obviously opening up by the counter . I checked my I phone and at 7:01 am I knocked at the door . The person at the counter then went back to the service Bay Area . I walked back to the service bay door and shrugged my shoulders as it was obvious he was avoiding me . Made an appointment for Sat morning, dropped my car off on Friday night, for a wheel alignment. After waiting all day Saturday with no word if it was done or not, I had to call them and they were still not on it at 4pm. When I got it back at like 6pm I paid and left not happy I had to wait all day when you have an appointment right? Weeks later the metal inspection plate fell down because it was not screwed back like it should have been and when I tried to back up not knowing it fell down it was bent and the car was undrivable. I had to get a jack to bend it up enough to get it so I could drive it. I did not connect it was Firestone's fault until I saw a vice grip still attached to my tie rod different issue but related to my visit there. They fixed it after having to call them 2x. I can't believe I was driving the car on the hwy for 18 days with a vice grips clamped to my tie rod of my front wheel! Could you imagine it falling off and causing me to have an accident because of this crew. The tech said he lost his clamp stupidly but never followed up! Thank god I caught it in time as it could have been bad for me. These guys need some quality checks on their staff !!! And maybe clean house and start over! Don't go there!!! read more
