I have had nothing but positive experiences with the Nashua Firestone. The staff is straight with me and to the point. I don't get caught up in the issues tthat may be due to my car. It's a car. It will need service. Deal with it. My only issue is that I have found recently that I can get my car serviced at the dealer for the same cost if not actually lower by a bit. This is surprising to me. Nonetheless for alignments, tires, and brakes, they are very solid and fairly priced. A tip to those complainers - change your oil and check the tire pressure and you can avoid many issues. read more

Had one of my vans in for a oil change and inspection at 8AM. At 11:30 they informed me that my van needed brakes all around and would be done by end of the day. Ubered home and back at 7 pm to pick it up. Next day on the highway I heard a weird vibration and noise from the rear end. Went to another mechanic and he informed me all of my back brake caliper and rotor bolts where hand tight. I drive for a living on the highway and could have lost both my wheels doing 65. It match and he will have to contact Bridgestone to see what to do. No I prefer tires that match said they would order me 2 new tires and call me Tuesday or Wednesday. No call Tuesday or Wednesday. I call Thursday guy says appt alls at for Saturday 8am. Show says no appt and already started ta return on tires. Went to town fair bought 4 new Michelins. . Brought my car 3/3/26 for 4 new tires. They workers were nice enough. Also got an alignment. Drove home and noticed the ride was terrible. Got brakes at dealership thinking perhaps that was the issue. The car continued to shake. Brought the car today to Sullivan Tire and told them the issue. They checked the tires and none of them were in balance. They said that Firestone either didn't balance or their calibration was off. They advised me to call Firestone and explain what the issue was since the tires were 5 weeks old. Firestone said I would have to pay to have them balanced. I said they weren't done correctly so why would I pay for their problem. Got no satisfaction and had to go back to Sullivan tire to fix the Issue. Don't go to Firestone. read more

I Brought my car here 3 times and the problem still isn't fixed. my car is Worse off from when i originally brought it in. I needed a serpentine belt and they said they needed to fix the oil leak and replace a water pump and a lot of other miscellaneous items. I paid $1900 for all the things they said needed to be done. They broke a part on my car and now it is overheating. they are trying to charge me more money. I want my money back. I have no car and I'm out $1900. read more

I've been with Firestone/Tiresplus for 15 years. Really bad experience in Nashua, NH. My technician was really beside himself when I pointed out that he seemed to not know what he was doing because he used two different wrenches to loosen the oil filter, and he still hasn't gotten it off yet. His co-worker went out laughing at him and teasing him. Now I received my car, and no oil sticker or oil reset on the vehicle hasn't been done. Where is my $181. I ordered tires on eBay and had them shipped and paid for with CarAdvise. I wanted to do a different location but I decided on this Firestone to avoid paying tax. The only reason I didn't give 1 star is because the tires were mounted perfectly and the service work done was perfect. I had my appointment moved back an hour, with less than 24 hour notice. I spent 3 HOURS WAITING TODAY. Only for 4 freaking tires to be replaced! I watched 5+ people go ahead of me while I sat in the lobby with an appointment. It's ironic because Jerry Seinfeld makes a great point with a reservation: if you can't honor it then why bother making it for the customer in the first place? There was no parking either in the front or back so I had to park at the front entrance. Definitely not gonna come back here unless it's a last resort... read more

Cannot comment on the services as I do all the work on my cars but the people working in the service bays are very friendly and gladly accept used fluids. I have gone here multiple times to dispose of used motor oil, oil filters, coolant, brake fluid, etc. They have never given me a hard time about it and even helped to empty my containers! read more

Waited hours in a dirty waiting room and when I asked on an eta, they said the norm is a few hours and I needed to be patient. I've never had an issue with other Firestone locations until here. The mechanic replaced a lug nut with something that is not what we had when we drove in to have the work done. When we noticed it we called and the guy who answered was VERY rude and lied to my husband. He first told my husband it was a bad lug nut and when my husband pointed out that it was not bad at all, he then proceeded to tell my husband that it swelled and that is why it was replaced. Do not go here they will rip you off.. I brought my car in because I had no heat. They told me I needed a new thermostat which is funny because two days previous I had it replaced. Then they called me back hours later to tell me the a clip on the thermostat housing had broken and also needed to be replaced. They charged me 10 times what the parts were worth and there hourly labor is $180+. After I left my heat still never worked. Completely unprofessional. Some of the nicest staff, they took me in when another place let me down. They did a complete evaluation of my suspension and it only cost me $9.99. They really did put a lot in, I was having a weird creaking noise, think honeymoon bed springs. They presented me the options, but ensured me that it was safe if I held off. They greased everything up and took at least an hour going over everything with a stethoscope. I have no doubt that most other places would have told me I needed expensive repairs. Surprisingly honest for a franchise garage. When my exhaust system was having big problems, they told me they could fix it for $1300, but suggested that I'd be better off taking it to a custom exhaust shop where they had welding expertise. Taking it to a more specialized shop saved me over $800. It's hard to complain about a shop that will send business away to save their customers money. read more

Went in to get my tire repaired ~10am. They took the tire and hadn't repaired it by around 4pm. Got a hassle about how it isn't policy to fix a run flats, which if that is the case, they shouldn't have taken the tire in the first place. For the record, you can fix run flats and most manufacturers say it is permissable. The caveat is that the integrity of the tire needs to be intact. This will be the case if you haven't actually driven on the run-flat while it is under pressurized. Which was my case. In the end, they fixed the tire, but let this be a warning, this particular location is about the sale, not the service. Needed to purchase two new tires, certainly not ordering them through them. read more

Two years in a row I've gone here for a state inspection and two years in a row I've driven all the way home to find out that they put the wrong sticker on my car. I understand that mistakes happen. This time I called back annoyed saying that it happened again and that I couldn't come back because I had to take time off work. The guys response was "Well you don't work 7 days a week do you? Come back on the weekend." No apology or anything. Nice customer service. The resolution to this is that I had to take time that I could have been spending with my family and drive all the way back up there through traffic, sit there for 30 minutes AGAIN, and then get attitude from the employees. That was the most disrespectful customer service I have ever received. Not one person said "I'm sorry" to diffuse the situation. I have taken ALL of my cars here for years. After this experience I'm going elsewhere. I'd highly recommend you do the same. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I was quoted over $800 for four new tires. I refused to pay that for four low end tires so I went to leave. The manager kept telling the sales guy to discount the tires. I ended up leaving with four new tires for $420.50. Sounds great till you fast forward 3 months later and I need four new tires on a 2014 Kia Sorento because the ball bearings have worn the tires down so much, they're unsafe to drive on. Firestone claims they didn't do an alignment so the ball bearings weren't checked. If you're a mechanic and see bald tires on only one side of the tires, you check the ball bearings. I'm NOT a mechanic, and I know that. I now need to pay someone else to replace the ball bearings, align the tires, and replace the tires. When I called to complain, I got an attitude and a lot of excuses. Will never go back. read more

Rude and incompetent. First experience -came here to get belts re-done from a Firestone in Texas. They were screeching, had an independent mechanic look at it and he said to go back to where they did it-they put the wrong belt in. Went to the NH Nashua Firestone and told them what the mechanic said. All they did was look at the corresponding number in the computer to see that it "matched" and tightened it. (I said it was already tightened).They said it was ok, no more noise....but, it was still screeching-had to drive back and have them look at it again until they finally fixed it.They don't like to admit that maybe they did something wrong and like treating their customers as if they are idiots. I had told him to call the mechanic (very nice) who said he would explain it to them. I can't recall, but it may have had something to do with the wrong length of the belt. Latest experience-Having problems with my TPMS and went to a mechanic down the street, upon inspection he stated whoever mounted the tire broke it. Apparently, it is very common. Bringing me back to Firestone Nashua. Spoke with the Manager Alan who was very rude. I reiterated what the mechanic had said adding that I feel I should be reimbursed for the broken TPMS. Alan started getting accusatory towards me and my mechanic saying "maybe he was the one who broke it" (I was the one that asked the mechanic to look at it-why would MY mechanic lie), why didn't I go back to Firestone to get it fixed (If something is wrong with the tire, I don't want to drive with it and stayed close to home), why did I wait so long, etc.(I said from the look of the crack it looks like the typical damage of someone not mounting a tire correctly causing the sensor to eventually die as the wheel rolls.) AlI I said was -I want a neutral third party to look at it and gather evidence. Alan stated that was what he was doing, but he was very defensive. My mechanic has nothing to gain from it, and I think he has a lot of experience with this. Also, since I had to have 2 mechanics check Firestone's work at a later date, because nothing is done correctly...I tend to trust real mechanics. He explained it ,and it made sense.I just wanted to put a claim in, because I thought I had a year warranty on labor with their "fixed right" guarantee. I didn't want to get harrassed by this awful company. Don't subject yourself to this jerk! Unfortunately, they are everywhere it seems and "convenient," but this business is just not worth it. I was on the road in TX pulled into the nearest garage (unfortunately it happened to be a Firestone),because my engine was cutting off on the Houston highway. Their "mechanic" stated my belts were slipping ,and I needed to get those changed...found out later at a real mechanic that it was the crankshaft sensor. That erroneous diagnosis put me and others on the road in a very dangerous situation, so it's best to avoid this business. They don't seem very reputable. They are sloppy and just want to get the "work" done as quickly as possible. Stay away from Firestone! read more

My first visit I went to get new tires. They messed up the install so bad that my car was shaking for 2 weeks and I had to go back 4x until they finally fixed it. They offered me a free oil change due to the lengthy error. I went back to get the oil change and had to pay because the courtesy coupon was for a standard oil change and they wouldn't offer it for full synthetic. I should have left and gone down the street but I figured I was already there and the rep (David) said they had a mail-in rebate so the cost would be about $15 cheaper than the 'other guys'. It took HOURS (down the street takes 10 mins and I can wait in my car) for them to get it done. The seating area is filthy (chairs covered in dirt & grim) and the seats are extremely uncomfortable. I waited 3 months and still did not get my mail-in rebate money back. I called and spoke with the Manager who was so incredibly rude telling me it is not his problem and for me to call corporate and even said he thought the rebate they were offering was a scam. Very bizarre. I spoke with Corporate and after 2 more weeks (nearly 4 months of waiting) my check arrived. I had called the DM to complain and he never called me back after I left a voicemail. My boyfriend also told me that on the receipt for the oil change under the 'suggested services' section, they were trying to charge me for parts that were not even for my car. I would have loved to tell the DM this as I did Corporate but clearly they don't care to keep repeat business. Please stay away from this place. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Once when we got a tire rotation done, they put one of the bolts on backwards. In order to get new tires for the winter it had to be broken. They claimed we couldn't be sure if Firestone staff had done it. We thought it was an honest mistake and went back. We had an oil change done on a brand new 2015 Subaru WRX imagine our surprise when we go to pick it up and there is damage done to the front bumper. Firestone didn't bother to tell us when they called to say it was done or when we called to say we were picking it up. I visited this Firestone location for an alignment after I purchased tires from BJ's Warehouse (they don't do alignments there). I didn't have any alignment issues, I just figured that it would be a good idea to get an alignment done since I purchased new tires. They started the alignment; after about 25 min one of the techs told me that there was an issue with getting my steering wheel centered, and that they were still working on it. I was a bit worried at this point. After about another 10 min the manager came out... and the first words out of his mouth were "So, your cars steering wheel was off center when you came in..." then he went on talking about how they couldn't do the alignment and I most likely had a broken tie rod. After going back and forth I figured that these folks don't know what they are doing (My guess is that it had something to do with my car having electronic power steering, and they couldn't figure out how to do it, but I don't know.) The only point that really made me mad, was the fact the first thing the manager did was try to blame me for a problem they created. I wonder how often they might try to pull this on other folks. On the way out walking towards my car I started to second guess myself, thinking the steering wheel might have been a bit off and I didn't notice. The moment I sat back in my car, the wheel was "centered" at almost 3 o'clock, so I know it wasn't me. I went over to NTB in Nashua, and within 30 min my car was aligned and the wheel was centered, they didn't run into any "issues". read more

Brought my well-maintained pickup in for an inspection.... they put it up on the rack to 'discover' a 'leaking' steering mechanism under the front end... quoted me $1500 to replace the steering rack BEFORE they would give me an inspection sticker. Sure. Next day brought my truck to a shop in Milford recommended by a friend... they used 2 cans of brake cleaner to clean the rack and told me there was no leak. (uh, I knew because it was NOT losing fluid!). Brought the truck back to this shop 2 weeks later for an oil change and found the rack as clean as it was 2 weeks earlier after they cleaned it. Cost me $16 for them to clean and check it vs $1500 for unneeded work. AVOID THIS PLACE! Recently I went to the Firestone Service Center in Nashua, NH for the first time. I had to replace the front tires on my van and first checked prices at the online store (tirerack.com) where I'd bought them ~ 3 years ago. I almost bought them online, but then decided to check the nearest Firestone dealer in beautiful, tax-free New Hampshire, which dhappened to be the Firestone Service Center in Nashua. It turned out that their total price for the two tires (mounted and balanced) was $30 _less_ than it would cost to buy them online (inc. shipping) and then take them to a local tire shop to be mounted. I wanted the same tires I'd bought previously (Firehawk Indy 500) since they'd given me excellent service. The guy at the Service Center told me on the phone that the model had been discontinued, but that he would see if he could find any. He called back a couple of hours later and said he'd found a pair and could have them for me tomorrow. I said OK and drove up the next day. I also needed an oil change, and learned that if I joined the Firestone Service Club (which entails getting a no-fee Firestone credit card) my oil changes would only cost $17 ($12 less than I was paying locally). I said "Go for it", and had the tires mounted and oil change complete 45 minutes after I drove into their lot. They advised me that my rear tires were pretty badly worn (which I knew) and should be replaced also. They didn't push it, but said that the back tires might not pass inspection next time. I thought about that for a week and then decided that if I wanted to get another pair of the Firehawk Indy 500's I'd better do it now while they're still available. I called back and said I wanted to get another set for the rear. The guy I spoke with (I think his name was Alphonso) said, "It was tough finding that first pair, but I'll see what I can do." He called back the next day and said he'd managed to find one last pair in Rhode Island. I drove back up a couple of days later and had them mounted on the rear and along with a wheel alignment at the same time. This time it took nearly an hour and a half to get everything done, and they apologized because they were unusually busy that day. After they finished the alignment they showed me the before and after numbers for camber and toe and offered to explain what they meant (although I already knew). I was very satisfied with the job they did, the price they did it for and the time frame in which they did it. While I was there a woman had been waiting for her car for over two hours. The assistant manager finally came to her and explained that the assembly was so badly rusted they were having trouble getting it apart. Rather than have her wait there any longer he offered to pay to have a rental car dropped off for her so she could drive home and return the next day to pick up her car. I happened to overhear the conversation and was quite impressed with this level of customer service. The Firestone Service Center in Nashua is a fairly long drive from my home, but I think I am going to be making that trip in the future for my routine vehicle maintenance. Let me tell you something - it is my opinion - this shop stinks and you should not go there. Twice they have misdiagnosed my car - or purposely attempted to rip me off. I was in the shop and at one point - they told me my shocks would not pass inspection. They quoted me a HUGE amount of money to do these supposed required repairs. Here is the problem THE SHOCKS WERE PERFECTLY FINE AND SUBSEQUENTLY PASSED INSPECTION. This was an attempt - in my opinion - to rip me off. Foolishly I went back there again recently. This time they told me that I needed to replace my thermostat at a quote of approximately $250. I took it to another shop and do you know what was wrong? THE ANTI-FREEZE WAS SIMPLY LOW!!!! So Firestone - in my opinion - is so corrupt or incompetent that they were going to charge me $250 for what really cost - nothing. I paid $100 for them to give me this bogus, erroneous diagnosis? What the heck????? UNBELIEVABLE! TRUST ME DON'T GO THERE!! CONT. . . Furthermore - I told the mechanic that my car had been in an accident that had caused my oxygen sensor to be damaged. Mechanic is sooo incompetent he did not even know impacts to an auto can cause damage to the o2 sensor regardless that impact was in front and o2 sensor resides in middle. Duh? The sensor has CERAMICS in it-anyone with a mind KNOWS impacts can damage CERAMIC regardless of middle proximity- cept this guy at Firestone. When the ins. co. contacted this incompetent mechanic - instead of supporting me by telling the adjuster impacts can damage an o2 sensor he told the adjuster that I TOLD HIM SO SAY THE DAMAGE WAS FROM THE ACCIDENT as though it was a contrivance. He could have simply said that it was possible the damage resulted from the accident but he had to open his big mouth to the adjuster in such a manner totally contrary to my best interests so as to insure the ins would not pay for the damage caused by the accident. NEVER USE THIS SHOP! You'll be sorry if you do. Use them if you want to be quoted over $1,000 in unneeded repairs and if you want to pay them $100 for erroneous diagnosis. read more

These guys are great! Don't judge every store in a chain the same, this is the best Firestone by far (have used many of them all over the east coast). Mechanics/technicians are skilled and very experienced here, they do way more than just tires and the customer service is top notch. Been here 3-4 times in the last 6 months, needed to replace most of my suspension on an older Volvo. Their prices are great compared to others in the area and they stand behind their work. They even fixed issues with components improperly done at a different chain shop. They are willing to work with the customer and don't try to push unnecessary items. What I like most is they don't try to jam the "service of the month" on you like even the dealer's service team will. The team have connections to other specialty shops if it is a service they cannot do, or if the cost would be prohibitive. Very honest and reputable and I would recommend them to anyone. read more

When I voiced my displeasure over having to come back a third time for a simple brake job, the manager blamed me because I drive a foreign car. Offered me nothing to compensate for the inconvenience.
