My 2012 Toyota Camry's hood wasn't latching completely so the hood would be a little open while I was driving. When I came to the store, the front desk employee told me that I could set up an appointment for 10am two days later. I decided it was fine and since i didnt need the car I dropped the car off that day just in case if some time opened up for them. I dropped the car off at 8am and I drive by the shop going down Louisville at around 12pm and I see my car in the parking lot fixed with the hood completely closed! I went for ac repair and was assured that they have certified ac technician at this facility. I was told one price of over $1600 then I was to told that the price would increase to over $2100. I was told that they were finishing up my vehicle and i could come and pick it up. Once I got there the repairs were not made and that it would be an additional $2600 for a total of $4700. After the increase in charges and the repairs were never made. I was told that they and I quote ( we are going to wash our hands of this vehicle and come get it) I would definitely be extremely cautious doing business with this company. Extremely Disappointed - Poor Communication and Disrespectful Service" I had a terrible experience at the Firestone in Monroe, LA. I came in based on a recommendation from my brother, who is a military member and Firestone customer--but even he admitted later he had complaints about this particular location. We arrived at 8:00 AM to pick up his truck and I asked if they could do a diagnostic on my vehicle--nothing else. My brother had told me it should be $50, but the first employee said $120.99. I asked for clarification several times and was assured that was the price. I agreed and asked how long it would take. He told me 1 to 2 hours. No one ever called me with an update. I had to call them multiple times. Each time, I was told "we're working on it." After 5 hours, I came back and saw the technician just beginning to look at my truck--only after I walked in. I explained my frustration, reminding them I had been there since early morning and should have been told if there was going to be a delay. The second employee started giving me excuses, saying they were busy, but I debunked each one because I was there the entire time. He got defensive, claiming there was "so much wrong with my truck," even though I hadn't received any diagnostic report yet. I said I just wanted my vehicle back. He slammed my keys down on the counter and told me to pay $160, even though I had been quoted $120.99. He refused to explain the price change or provide a printed or emailed diagnostic like he promised. The lack of communication, the disrespectful attitude, and the bait-and-switch pricing were unacceptable. As a paying customer, I felt dismissed, misled, and held hostage until I paid the full amount--just to get my own vehicle back. I've already filed a complaint with corporate, but I'm posting this review to warn others: If you value your time, money, and basic respect, I recommend going elsewhere. Terrible service. Old white guy was rude. I scheduled service at 10 am, dropped it off and was told it would be done in two hours. 7 hours later and the car was still sitting in the same spot and was never touched. Should've just hired animals to do their job since not much brain power seems to be needed to work there. read more

NEGETIVE 5 STARS!!!! This Firestone store had my Linclon Navigator in the service bay in the process of buying two new tires over $800.00. A high pressure air hose came loose and started viciously whipping my car. This hose beat my car for 3 to 5 minutes with no action taken. Finally a mechanic on the far end of the garage traced down the hose and shut off the air flow to stop the whipping. The manager on duty acted as though there was no issue and offered to do NOTHING! Returning my keys and car with much anger! I returned two days later as appointed to speak with the new manager, Lenie. He glanced at my car and out of hand dismissed any responsibility or damage. I had shown him a number, 20 plus marks and scratches on my car. He said he was certain his air hose could not have hurt my car. I said he could at least wash and buff out the front of my car. He said he did not think his heavy, dense, high pressure hose damaged my car. I responded that if I walked into his driveway and beat his car with my much lighter less dense garden hose that he would call the police, I would be in jail and be charged criminally and in civil court as well. His response was that it was not intentional therefore not his concern. My next stop was to have the ding on my Windshield repaired at safelight., 139.00, plus I will have to spend another 200.00 to have my car buffed out. Fast, friendly, and gave free hot dogs while we waited. Made appointment online, they were finished in 30 minutes replacing, balancing new tires. Was a but nervous after reading reviews, but would definitely highly recommend. read more

Highly not recommended I took my car here for a tire alignment , break fluid and oil change when I got my car back less than 5 minutes of me pulling off the break light came on and the car then sayid transmission malfunction I took it back and they basically told me it's nothing they can do read more

5 stars for customer service. Was greeted promptly and very friendly but with only 1 other customer waiting why does it take an hour and a half for a courtesy check (I asked to check my tire pressure only)? Came in around 3:30 pm and left around 5 pm, which is way after lunch time and way before dinner time. Another customer who came in after me "knew someone" got prompt service and was out in less than 30 minutes. Another man who came in after me getting his tire rotated waited about an hour and they didn't even touch his car yet. He left. I can't believe I waited that long but I have a long trip tomorrow. Unbelievable. I came into this Firestone to have my tires rotated and a brake job. 3 hours later 1 set of brake pads are in process and NOTHING else has been done. I'm quite sure I have never experienced more incompetence. 3 workers are out back listening to some dudes new car stereo while the store manager Jim is sitting down playing a game on his phone. If you have all day to spend on an oil change... then this place is for you. Unfortunately, I do not and was told I would be out of here in an hour. Wow. Edit: after another hour and a half, and another exchange with the manager, I left. $383 and still have several lights on on my dashboard indicating brakes and tires need to be checked.
