i dont know what to say but i gave them business i buy 3 break alignments for my 3 cars from them for life time i paid them around 600 for that and its almost 4 times they tried to do my alignments and they cant fix it and they try ripping me out by telling me different stuff about my car they change my brake pad and then they messed up my brake caliper and ask me to buy new one i bought new one and now they want me to pay them additional 300 sorry this review is about firestone at galloway mesquite on highway 80 read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE. Went in for an oil change, paid $100. The next morning I am driving my car and an alert comes across my dashboard "low engine oil level". When i checked the dipstick it was dry. There was no oil in my car. I called the manager, who didn't seem to care too much, he said to bring it to a firestone I was closer to me. They put oil on. I have still yet to hear back from corporate, a week later. They also quoted me on services my car didn't need. This is not the first time I've had a bad experience at this location, but it will be my last. read more

Wish I could put no stars. Went in to get my brake pads replaced, they ordered the wrong brake pads two times and then when they finally got the "right ones" they only "replaced" the front ones and didn't even check the back ones. They didn't cut the rotors at all and slapped a cheap pad on top of them. The mechanic who I believe worked on them was mad after the test drive because my back rotors were still squealing horrifically and he kept ranting about how it's not his fault. No communication on what exactly I was paying for and then a rushed awful job since they were going to close at 5. I paid $240 just to have to go to a different mechanic and find out because they didn't do the brake pads correctly now I'm paying $900 to fix the rotors that they warped. Severely unprofessional and I cannot believe a place like this is able to even function at all. Do not waste your money and always get a second opinion because this is ridiculous. read more

This store tries to rip people off beware. Early this week I went in to have a vehicle inspection on my new Carmey so I could deliver for a company Go Share. During the inspection the service manager told me my front tires were bad and would need to be replace or he would fail my cars inspection. After giving me a $400 tier bill for the replacement, I informed him the tires were only a week own and with surprised he was shocked. I then went to the firestone on S. Florida and passed with 100%. Dishonest I think would be a good word to describe them here! I had left Orlando airport and had stopped and realized my tire was going down. So I searched for a tire shop near by and found them. I came here and investigated and said they can't salvage the tire it and I would need a new tire. Not sure if this was actually true. Which they didn't have and had to get it from a close by shop which took forever to get there. Basically I was there for almost 4 hours. I kept checking on them and they so we're not done. Then one of them came to me and said that also my key is saying that it's low battery so if I wanted to be changed and I said sure. I was very exhausted and not to realize that I was overcharged $15 just to changing the key battery. Then when I got the chance to go to the dealer I noticed that my key battery was still showing low betters and I called them and I said this is what happened. And I saw and I'm asking how much they charged and they said it was $15, I was thinking $15 just for the battery and they said no they charge eight dollars just to have the person replace it and I was thinking to myself charging eight dollars for something that takes two seconds. I don't understand. So then I realize that this place is a rip off, they didn't want to refund it knowing that the battery was probably old because it was still showing in the car that it was needing to be replaced. Went today for my 2pm appointment. (Mind you, they have to approve appointments. You request and they approve then email you-so it's not an automatic scheduling issue). Went at 145pm...told it'll be a 1hr 45 min wait. I said even with an appointment? Anthony stated "yup, it'll be at least 1hr 30min". Who has time for that? Anthony, Bill, and the gentleman that closed out our ticket were the most professional and friendly individuals I have had the pleasure to do business. I had scheduled an appointment on line at the last minute. They immediately contacted us and explained that they were unable to complete my service at the requested time. I explained I really needed to get my oil changed and Anthony said he would be able to but it would be a little longer than usual. I appreciated the honesty and the willingness to squeeze me in with no notice. He could have told me to take my business elsewhere or he could have said no problem and just made me wait without having a clear expectation of when they could complete my service. We will continue to utilize Firestone at Lakeland Square Mall as our go to complete auto care center. read more

Store manager Lynn is rude and and a bit of a smart ass on phone , not so much in person . Went elsewhere after her horrible customer service or lack of and her trucker mouth. If this is the way Firestone lets their hourly employees speak to the customers who pay their checks, they will soon be joining all the others to close their doors and file bankruptcy! read more

DISHONEST or INADEQUATE. Stay away. Went in because had a nail in the tire. Saw that the nail was pretty much smack dab in the middle of the tire before I went in. I was helped by John who wrote up the order ~31 dollars. I was going to wait for them to finish so decided to take a walk to the mall. 30 minutes later got a voicemail from John saying to call them back. Upon calling he says "the nail is too close to the sidewall so we can't fix it, and you're going to need a new tire." He proceeded to quote me the price of a new tire. I said "no thanks" and went to pick up my car and promptly drove it over to Sam's Club (who fix flats for free if you're a member, which I didn't even know). They fixed it without ever questioning it being too close, and that too at no charge. Brings to light several possibilities: 1. Best case scenario: their technology to fix flats is inadequate compared to other shops. 2. More likely scenario: dishonesty and upselling. More commission and less work to sell a new tire rather than fix a flat for $31 Either way, why would I return to such a place? There's some quote by Harvey Firestone on the wall that has to do with honesty being fundamental. Please. The car with the nail is brand new with ~16k miles so the tires are OEM. That said, I have purchased 5 sets of tires from Firestone for 3 different vehicles all with a road hazard warranty and also had several oil changes before though, and there's always been a sour taste in my mouth. Will not be returning to Firestone for anything from tires or service. read more

Liz helped me the 2 times I came and she was very nice and i had a very pleasant experience. I gave 4 starts because i took it to get new tires and i had to go back because something didnt feel right but they looked at it free of charge and told me i could come back if anything else happened. I've had a lot of work done here and the staff have generally been kind and helpful. Unfortunately I've had a couple bad experiences now, so I won't be going back. I went in for road noise, but they did a total inspection and told me I needed brake pads, rotors, calipers, AND hoses for almost $1000. When I said I can't afford to do all of that, they told me it was all or nothing. I took it to my local mechanic (who rocks!) and he said there's absolutely no indication the calipers and hoses need changing, so all I need to pay was $255 for pads and rotors. My local mechanic also noticed one of the wheels is bent in an unusual way, and the only explanation we could come up with was the Firestone bent it when they put it on - can't prove it, but that's our best guess. I've been into this shop a lot, and I like a lot of the people there, but I've also seen my share of unhappy customers, and I've been one of them - waiting all day to get a scheduled repair done, having to take it back in the next day to re-repair it. I'm not planning to give them any more business. read more

I came in requesting a new battery as it had already been evaluated by AAA and I was told that it was necessary for me to have a $27.99 Starter System check before they would replace it. It was presented in such a way that it was a requirement and they would not replace the battery without this service. I asked again if it was necessary and I was told it was. I reluctantly agreed even though I have never been required this at any other service provider. I later asked a different sales associate again if this service was necessary and told the exact same line word for word as the first salesman. While my service was being completed, I found a Firestone coupon online for a free battery check. I showed it to the sales associate and he looked very embarrassed and stammered that he would "take care of me" but that this was not the same service that they performed. This really got me upset because it was the service that I asked for, and I was up sold to the Starter Check under the false pretense that it was a requirement. I do not appreciate being taken advantage of and lied to. I will never, ever come back and I will make sure to leave negative review on both googlemaps and yelp. I will also tell all my female friends about my experience and warn them that you are the type of auto shop that takes advantage of women. read more

Its sad to see when staffing changes result in customer service deterioration. I have been going to this branch since 2007 when RP run it in a very professional way. Back then, if you had an appointment and arrived, RP or one of his associates would courteously approach you and speak to you regardless of how busy they were. if they were on the phone, they would at least acknowledge you and ask you to wait. Not so anymore. Not sure her name, but i went to a pre arranged oil change appointment and to discuss a recommended repair to another one of my vehicles. I arrived on time, she saw me arrive and stand in front of her, dialed someone and stayed on hold for about 10 minutes not even signaling me to wait or anything. She re dialed once again and left a message. then, she called another customer and discussed repairs to his vehicle etc. Now, it is 20 minutes and she has yet to at least nod my way. then, she calls what appeared to be parts and ordered what she had been previously discussing with the customer. after she is done, she starts to chat with one of the associates in a very rude tone of voice about who knows what. still has not even looked my way. as 25 mins had already gone by, i interrupted this chat and told them i needed to drop off the car ASAP. she went back to the computer and prepared to get in the phone again. by now, there were 3 other customers waiting behind me. at this point,my wife and i decided to take both vehicles elsewhere...as we walked away, i suppose she finally came to her senses and in a very child like voice asked..'my i help you'....we just walked away...i dont think im bringing my business back to this location....really sad.. read more
