I brought my company van to the Firestone (Lacey) shop on three separate occasions within one week for the same brake issue. Each time, I was told the vehicle was ready for pickup, but upon inspection, the brake pedal still had no pressure. This required my electrician to make three unnecessary trips to retrieve the van, only to find the issue was unresolved each time. After the third visit, I was advised by the Firestone team that the problem might be the master cylinder and was instructed to take the van to another shop for a second opinion. I was also told that if the issue was related to Firestones previous work and covered under warranty, I would be reimbursed (Which never happened). I've never had a mechanic instruct me to another mechanic shop due incompetence. Its actually quite sad. Following this advice, I took the van to Midas, where the issue was promptly diagnosed and repaired. The cause of the problem was air in the brake system a direct result of improper or incomplete service from Firestone. I paid $128 out of pocket for this repair at a different Mechanic (Midas) from across the street. On top of paying firestone $1,800 for the same issue that was never resolved. If you want to deal with untrained novice "Mechanics" who do not understand problem solving deal with Firestone, If you want same day repairs drive across the street to Midas where they will quickly and promptly get your issue resolved with no excuses. First off I came to this store ro get an alignment after replacing tie rod ends after the job was finished (half finished) I was told by the tech, I didn't even try to do the rear adjustments because the bolts are usually rusted on these CR V's So I paid for a 4 wheel alightment and only did half the job, but I paid the full price and didn't even attemp the other half. Second they said they would email my receipt which I never got and had to go back and get it. On the receipt under courtesy check it said I needed a new air filter, strange because it was replaced three days earlier. Last but not least, the following day while at a light stram starts pouring out from under my hood. While doing my courtesy check the technician failed to properly put my radiator cap back on and I had to walk to the nearest parts store and buy a gallon on antifreeze. When I went back to the store to get a copy of my receipt I told them what happened and was asked if I wanted a top off of antifreeze, had I driven all the way back there with no antifreeze it most likely would have destroyed NY engine. No apologies just I will talk to the technician. Incomplete work and bad customer service. Now 5 days later I'm yet to hear back from the store manager. So it'd obvious customer service is a thing of the past at this location. My self, my family, and my friends all say they will not be returning to this location. read more

Was told by a friend that I could come down there and they would put air in my tire. No problem. I figured while I was there, I would ask them to check and see if the brakes were still good. They managed to convince me that I needed new tires. They said that they could see if they could get me some kind of loan or payment plan for the tires since I didn't have two grand cash on me. They asked a couple questions, had me do a little signature thing and then told me that they couldn't help me with that even though I got a 750 credit score.. couple days later, my credit score got a big hit to it, dropping quite a few points and after some research come to find out these guys did a hard credit check on me without telling me. I was kind of expecting like a soft credit pull since it was such a small amount of money. I've never had a problem getting any kind of credit card or anything like that before so it just kind of baffled me on how they said they couldn't help me with that. Anyway, long story short, after waiting around FredMeyers for a few hours they called me up saying they were ready for me to get the truck, they never ended up putting air in my tire and they told me my brakes were fine even though when my buddy came over to look at my tires, he said my brakes were gone and that I was even rubbing on the rotor because the brake pads had disintegrated all the way down. So they never check the brakes either. But he also said my tires were fine, and they just needed to be rotated and that I had at least a good few years or so left on them with how little I drive. Also, the idiot that they had moving my truck out of the garage didn't know how to drive stick shift and kept stalling out my truck and grinding effing gears and didn't take the parking brake off or anything. Then they assured me it would be done by 11am and at 11am they told me it would still be another 20-30 minutes. Now I'm facing being late picking my kids up from school. Made an appointment online to have my car looked at a car that I purchased through Carvana. When I arrived I was explaining to the mechanic behind the counter that I had just purchased my car from Carvana and had a bad sensor that was covered by my warranty and Carvana had sent me to this shop specifically because Firestone is within my network of shops for the warranty. He looked at me and said" Carvana is a piece of shit company." he then looked up the part and told me he couldn't get the part sorry. this guy just didn't want to help me, he was so rude I actually couldn't believe it! I called Carvana they sent me to another shop that found the part right away. I was honestly appalled at how awful this man was. This is customer service now? ugh read more

If I could give this less than one star I would. Their labor rates are $187 an hour, which is outrageous. I am having a issue with my blower which controls the air coming from the AC and the heater. It would only work on the strongest setting. There are four settings on my 2012 Ford escape. After researching online, I discovered all it needed was a $28 part from AutoZone called a resistor tab. I didn't have the tools to install it myself so I brought it to fire stone complete care here in Olympia Washington. They told me they could not install the part that I brought them that they had to install there own part. As I mentioned it was a $28 part at AutoZone and they charged me $110 for the part. Also It should've only been a half an hour job according to another shop I talk to. Fire stone told me that the labor was $77 approximately half of the $187 hourly labor charge. After the work was completed the blower only ran properly for one day. I brought the car back and they said that they would have to run a diagnostic and charge me $22 to find out what was causing the resistor tab to blow so soon. The part that they charge me $110.43 for should've been covered under warranty. The manager said yes it's covered under warranty, but only to replace the part which she pretty much assured me would fail again if I did not replace the whole blower motor. The new estimate he gave me was an excess of $450. I have since talked to another mechanic and he quoted me a total of $150 to replace both the blower motor and the blower motor resistor tab. the manager at fire stone repeatedly kept telling me "I don't set the prices it's corporate". Whether it's fire stone corporate or this shop in particular, please be forewarned and get a written estimate. The manager kept telling me I gave you a verbal estimate when they even have a sign on the wall that says any estimates over $100 a written estimate should be provided. Fair warning to anyone considering having work done at this price gouging institution. Long in the short of this is I'm out $214 and nothing was fixed. No warranty on the part no discounts whatsoever. Very dissatisfied with the service. read more

I like my new tires and they ride very nice. It was a noticeable difference. What I didn't care for was waiting 3 hours to have my tires put on and an air filter changed. Yes, I had an appointment so they should have had everything on hand. If they are going to make someone wait that long it would have been nice to either have more comfortable seating or let them know it will be hours so I could have gone walking around the area to pass the time. I've been meaning to write a review here for a few weeks now. Basically, this is the worst mechanical/tire service I've ever experienced. I went in for an alignment and rotation on my 2009 Jeep Wrangler, and had major issues moving forward. They set my track bar at an incredibly low torque, I had hand tightened it before going to the shop and specifically asked them to further tighten it. After leaving the bar was looser than when I came in, and as a result caused a massive cracking/banging noise when turning. That's not even the worst part. THEY LITERALLY DIDN'T TIGHTEN MY WHEELS ALL THE WAY DOWN AFTER THE ROTATION. I've had major squeaking noises ever since and after inspecting myself noticed my lug nuts were super loose on one side!!! My wheel easily could have fallen off, especially if I had gone 4 wheeling. Luckily I haven't. PASS THIS MISERABLE PLACE UP AND GO TO LES SCHWAB! read more

AMAZING SERVICE! Thank you to Barry and Skyler for getting us back on the road! We came down from Seattle, and just as we got into Lacey we hit a VERY bad pothole, damaging our tire in the process. Everywhere else was closed and this location was only open for 30 more min. We called ahead and explained what happened, swapped the tire for the emergency spare, and got to shop with 5 min to spare. Barry took a look and confirmed we had sadly destroyed the tire, and damaged the rim a bit. Luckily it might still hold air. Barry and Skyler went to work swapping the tire, and balancing and checking it out. They were fast and efficient and had us ready to go in no time, but it still meant they had to keep working on it well past closing. We had to head back to Seattle the same night, and the spare was not gonna make it. If not for these guys we would have been stuck for the night. You guys rock, thank you!!! read more

Worst lady at counter making a very unpleasant customer service experience. *** MASK UPDATE: this employee only wears a mask maybe half of the time a customer is in front of her, and then only over her mouth. I watched her take it off for the entire time she was *inside* my car. Her mask has printed on it "this mask is as useless as the government". I have to imagine she's not following health guidelines on her own time, which makes her carelessness at work even worse. *** I arrived for a quote and stood in front of her for literally two minutes before she acknowledged my presence. I was the only person there. She was shuffling and stapling papers. She finally looks up and says she'll be with me in a minute. She returns to shuffling and stapling papers for another three minutes. Again, I am the only person there. Finally, I let her know I'll need to talk to the manager anyway (as she told me on the phone he needs to approve all price matches). She tells me he may be in a meeting or working on a car and then goes back to her papers for another minute or two before going to find him. The manager was great, though. He took the time to price match a tire quote and was very friendly and helpful. He is the only reason this review is getting two stars. He should fire that lady and hire someone who is actually proficient at customer service. And they need to be serious about the current health restrictions. Don't go to any of these shops unless you really want to be bilked. They charge triple anyone else charges, AND they charge for every little thing possible. Like the current airline industry model. What used to be free is now chargeable. A few examples, only. Buy the same battery from the dealer and you won't get charged the 'mandatory' disposal fee for the old one on top of the core charge, that too is excessive as is the 'installation' fee. Take the old one out, cart it to the dealer, put the new one in yourself. It isn't hard or takes long. Get your tires elsewhere that doesn't charge for the air inflation stems on top of the excessive installation fees. They turn down brake rotors for an excessive charge even when it's not needed in brake shoe replacement. Get another 2nd opinion for your tire tread depth before committing to their con-buy. The really bothering part is the bald-face lies they think they can get away with to try convincing you the charges are appropriate for any repair work. read more

My vehicle has 26k miles and was told I NEEDED new tires was told they are close to being illegally low on tread and they gave me a quote for new tires. Kept insisting I needed them said no thanks. Get it home have husband look and nope tread is just fine no where near the legal 2/32 minimum and checked my warranty my tires have a 60000 mile warranty. Only get your vehicle repaired here if you want them to hold your car all day. I bought some tires from tirerack and had them sent to this shop. I made an appt for 4 tire replacements on sat @ 10am. When I get there for my appt, the guy at the front tells me that its going to take 4 hours to do the job. 4 hrs!! I asked why it would take so long for tire replacements and he gives me excuses saying that they are low profile and its a two man job. I asked why they did not advise me during my initial phone call to book the appt so I can figure out a ride home. Blank stare is about all I got from him. So I called a lyft to take me home which was an added expense I did not account for. 3pm rolls around and I have not heard from the shop at all. So I CALLED THEM to check the status of my car. The guy on the phone tells me that they are just getting the vehicle into the shop to start the work. I advised him that I dropped off my vehicle at 10am this morning. All he says is that they have been really busy with no apology. 5 hrs my car has been sitting at the shop for nothing! I don't get a call until 5pm to let me know they had finished. Very rude and poor customer service. I have been here a few times due to the convenient location of being on Post and have never had a good experience. I scheduled an oil change a few weeks in advance. When I arrived, I was treated very impolitely. Service was expected to be 2 hours for a simple scheduled oil change!!! They also told me I needed new tires and tried to sell me some. When I went to other tires shop, they all told me that my thread was still very good and I didn't need it until later. I've had great service, so so service and today, bad service. Brought a 04 t&c in for an alignment but also to inspect for a squeaking noise. Once vehicle was done I realized it was parked in front and waited an additional 10 mins (after I noticed it was out there) for someone to inform me it was completed. No one informed me so I walked up to the counter to see if it was finished. Started the process of checking out and asked questions about the work they did and the guy at the counter couldn't tell me much as he's only been there a week. Couldn't tell me what additional charges were, if they'd figured out the squeaking noise or if they checked air pressure in the tires. After I asked all these questions he went to talk to the tech who has now takin off to lunch (yes go to lunch but talk to someone about the vehicle). Now I can't get any answers to the vehicle but they can call me when he's back. So I left and waited for the call. It was pretty obvious from the call that the tech didn't do anything else other other than the alignment. Tells me squeaking is from brakes and new struts. Well the squeaking was there before the new struts and it only makes noise with bumps and the brakes had nothing to do with the squeaking. I guess with this covid thing customer service goes in the garbage and you just get people out the door, well that's how you lose a customer base. But then again, I've read posts from before covid and it just looks like bad customer service at times, sad. read more
